Johnisdead is a long-running ARG that has spanned across multiple different arcs. Because of this, the story has been split up into many different chapters, which can be found below:

The discovery of the Moon Children and their website Youshouldnthavedonethat.net. The players meet its various members and attempt to rescue them using their newfound Ocarina powers.
Chapter 3September 20th, 2010 - August 8th, 2012
The story of Ryukaki - a fellow player who is being hunted for possessing vital information. Meanwhile, Within Hubris is constructed as the ARG enters into its hiatus.
Chapter 4January 22nd, 2015 - March 3rd, 2015
The discovery of a new cryptic website, YSHDT.com, as well as the introduction of Doug - a young teen involved with a cult led by the enigmatic Patrem.
Chapter 5March 3rd, 2015 - March 17th, 2015
A new ally, Mason, informs the players of Doug's kidnapping. While attempting to rescue him, Helper loses his precious hat - along with his various accounts.
Chapter 6March 17th, 2015 - March 25th, 2015
The elusive Gray Man begins using Helper's Hat as Mason returns to locate Doug. Meanwhile, the players meet Vincent and learn more of his troubled past.
Chapter 7March 25th, 2015 - April 22nd, 2015
Players are forced to make a divisive choice between Doug and Mason while Patrem divulges more information regarding his mysterious cult.

Players re-establish contact with Tyler though his YouTube account "Silentdork" and learn more about the fates of his missing friends.
Chapter 11May 26th, 2015 - May 28th, 2015
Lunarchildren.com returns, revealing more of the cult's dark beliefs. Meanwhile, Tyler encounters an otherworldly being as he begins experiencing unexplainable occurrences...
Chapter 12May 28th, 2015 - June 6th, 2015
The Lunar Children confront Tyler directly, forcing the players to act. Back on Johnisdead.com, digital exploration becomes more complex with the introduction of a virtual reality web browser.

Having lost Tyler's trust, the players' contact with their Link is broken. Hoping to find some answers, they discover an updated Lunarchildren.com and a digital labyrinth related to The Four Giants...

The players finally have access to the Lunar Children Forums, which possess many new faces and mysteries... However, they have less than a week to rescue Tyler before Undecim Nocte 2015.

Yuukichan's spirit contacts the players and warns them about the arrival of a dangerous enemy... Meanwhile, an alternate version of Greth taunts the players with cryptic messages.
