The story so far...
In the previous section, Regiminis showcased his newfound power after reclaiming John's spirit as his conduit. However, it seems as though John still held some degree of freedom, as he still managed to briefly contact the players... Meanwhile, the Lunar Child named Sheepdog contacted the players and informed them that Tyler was back home. The cult was once again attempting to capture him. However, something strange was keeping them at bay... It's possible that this was actually Tenebris's doing, as he was haunting Tyler at the time after reclaiming Ben's spirit. Also attempting to reach Tyler was SKM, who was now on the run after losing his ally Drowned.
Back on Silentdork, the players witnessed what seems to be one of Tyler's dreams in the form of the video "5646", which featured a message from John who was warning Tyler about the cult. He also gave other cryptic warnings, such as "You are watching" and "Do not let you win". This video also contained a hidden password for a locked page on Lunarchildren.com - a page that revealed that Kelbris and Patrem are actually the same person.
Kelbris was originally a man named Hank. The name "Kelbris" was simply given to him by the cult. He fathered a child with a woman who he would later claim was the human incarnation of Luna herself. This child was none other than Ben. Kelbris was later banished from the Moon Children due to what they saw as blasphemy. In 2002, he gifted his son the Majora's Mask Cartridge. He later drowned Ben on April 23rd, only to be killed by Matt later that day. However, this act led to Kelbris ascending into two separate beings - Patrem and The Fourth Giant. While Patrem continued to lead the Lunar Children, The Fourth Giant, Kelbris, laid in wait.
Afterwards, Lunarchildren.com underwent a large update that revealed several announcements from the cult that were originally posted a few months prior. Through these announcements the players learned that Patrem informed the cult that they would have a second chance to kidnap Tyler and enact the Ceremony of the Three Elements around April 23rd. However, the cult was unable to capture Tyler and were harshly punished. In an event known as "The Cataclysm", most of the Lunar Children were seemingly erased from existence, effectively wiping out the cult.
Despite the near total destruction of the Lunar Children, Matt and Doug still seem to be active. Tenebris is still very much a threat as well. Using his newfound power, Tenebris used The Ocarina to play the "Song of Time" - an act that revived a very familiar website from 2010...

Story
On July 3rd, 2016, the players discovered that Youshouldnthavedonethat.net was once again online. However, the page displayed only a simple default log-in screen:
Youshouldnthavedonethat.net was originally used during Jadusable's ARG as the main hub for the Moon Children. However, after the ARG entered into a hiatus after 2010, the site went largely unused. Eventually, the domain was lost. Now, after five years, the site had finally returned - albeit in an incomplete state.
Shortly after this discovery was made, the log-in screen above changed.
This cleared up any doubts that the site was indeed once again being used for legitimate and ARG-related purposes.
A little while later, the log-in screen above disappeared, allowing the players to access the very same site they visited several years prior.
Before this story page continues, there are three important points to take into consideration:

Throughout these next two story pages, "Youshouldnthavedonethat.net" will simply be referred to as "YSHDT.net". This is simply done for convenience's sake. "YSHDT.net" is NOT to be confused with "YSHDT.com" - the Lunar Children-owned website from the YSHDT Arc.

At the time, YSHDT.net's return was thought to be unrelated to the Johnisdead ARG. This is because any Johnisdead-related lore and references found on the site were all very vague. Additionally, the GM's of Johnisdead denied having any involvement with YSHDT.net. Also, the website's sudden return attracted many older players who were largely unaware of Johnisdead.

These pages will be using YSHDT.net's original appearance during Jadusable's ARG as the site's default state. Any content found on the site that is identical to how it was during Jadusable's ARG will not be covered here because it would be redundant. If you need a refresher on the content found within YSHDT.net during Jadusable's ARG, these two story pages. Alternatively, visit the Jadusable Wiki's page covering the website here.
At first glance, YSHDT.net appeared nearly identical to how it was during its first cycle in Jadusable's ARG. The site was still stuck in the year 2010 and it once again seemed to be playing out over the course of a three day cycle:
- September 16th, 2010 - The First Day
- September 17th, 2010 - The Second Day
- September 18th, 2010 - The Third Day
Essentially, the three days were counting down to Sunday - September 19th. This all lined up with how the site was set up during Jadusable's ARG. However, upon closer inspection, the players began finding some differences...
The most notable difference was an embedded video on the site's front page - "again.wmv". This video was uploaded to a new YouTube channel named "fj6rt missing".

The video begins with footage from Majora's Mask. Deku Link is walking around Clock Town on the night of the first day. Despite this, music is still playing. We see Deku Link entering East Clock Town. As the area loads in, we see the Elegy Statue's smile quickly flash on screen accompanied by a loud sound. Deku Link approaches the Bomber Gang Kid and is asked for the secret code. Deku Link enters '15423' and it is accepted. The video cuts to black and text appears:
"You are not done playing yet."
Distorted sounds play in the background. And empty dialogue box appears as the Skull Kid laughs. Text flashes on screen.
"United Alliance"
An image of the Player group "We Are All Link" flashes on screen, followed by a flash of the "What's Your Mask?" Player group. More text appears.
"Heroes of Time"
An image of the "Knights of Jad" player group appears, followed by a flash of "The Fourth Day" Player group.
"Team Vanguard"
"System of a Dream"
The "Bomber Gang Kids" Player group image appears as darkness slowly covers it. A backwards scream is heard as the video cuts to black. More text appears:
"Did you think I would forget?"
"One more chance."
"Dawn of a New Day"
"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?"
Summary
- This video contains gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
- Link can be seen entering the "Bomber Gang Kid's Hideout" by using the password "15423".
- Various old player groups are called out in this video.
This video seemed to be a taunting message from Tenebris. Halfway through the video, he begins calling out various old player groups. Interestingly, this video also features gameplay footage of Majora's Mask showing Link using the code "15423" to enter a secret hideout.
The players began exploring the rest of the site for more changes. First, they noticed that Chris's post on the front page was somewhat different:

Subject: we're back
Hey guys its Chris! So glad to finally back with my (true) family! I hope you're as eager as I am to finally have a new place to call our own. anyway, like Dusk said, we lost a lot of content that we had stored. The good news is that I've got saved some of our testimonials, so that page should be up by tomorrow., but a lot of this will be under construction (bleh). we've got a few new toys, this new host gives us a lot more room to play around, however with the new domain I wouldn't be surprised if we get more than our "usual" amount of visitors, some may have potential, others may "think" they are good enough to join us. we're not ready to open up yet - we want to at least have a few pages working before we welcome you guys back in, so by the time you read this this will be a few days ago. how's the future? Do we have flying cars yet (heh)? Also, If anyone asks the background music is entitled "Lost in My Thoughts", i really like it.
After we get everything back in order again we gotta talk about getting back in direct contact with Mr.D, for those who don't know we never found it a proper vessel before the blackout (and we are still working on that heh) until then we can still get small messages from him here and there. but i would like to get that done soon, last was heard from it, I was supposed to ascend next xp
Instead of talking about his upcoming ascension, Chris's final paragraph instead discusses how Tenebris seemingly lacks a body. This is likely due to the players rescuing SKM from being used as his physical vessel a few months prior. Because of this, it seems as though his contact with the Moon Children has been hindered and Chris's ascension has been postponed in this cycle.
Spencer's announcement was also somewhat different:

Subject: Rebirth
DW here. You may notice the slight name change, figured it was symbolic. We're back for what looks like to be for good.
First of all, Chris, due to things being really busy on my end I have not had enough free time to get a hold of you directly, and before I go on I would like to say now that we should limit how much we talk about Mr. D here. It is a complex thing that should be kept in some level of privacy. However, we have nearly found a new vessel through certain complex channels, and on the front page we will just leave it at that!
Anyway, about the move - I know its been a hectic past couple of days with the domain change and all, but I think that we've finally found our home (fingers crossed). This will no doubt attract more potential Children, all the more merrier I say.
The site's going to be under construction for a while due to me and Rem having to transfer all of the data over here - unfortunately not everything ended up saved and we lost of stuff so we're going to have to try and rebuild. We've done it before, we can do it again. If you guys know of any of "our guys", feel free to link them to this site, but try and keep it somewhat exclusive. Some of our old siblings (and you know who) were not meant to be part of our group.
Also, does anyone know why the guest book is broken. I can't seem to get it working.

Spencer warns Chris to not speak too openly about Tenebris. However, he claims that the cult is currently in the process of getting them a physical body "through certain complex channels". What exactly he's referring to here is unknown. Regardless, just like before, he's still working alongside a Moon Child named Rem to reconstruct the cult's website. He also notes that some of the cult's "older siblings" are not meant to be members of the Moon Children - an obvious reference to the Lunar Children.
Players also discovered a brand new announcement from Chris on the front page:

Subject: update and guestbook
Hey guys Chris again, it has been a really really REALLY long day. It just feels like today is never going to end. But my complaning aside I have a few things that need to be addressed. I lost our testimonials (I am so sososososo sorry about that) I just don't know how it happened, but we won't be getting that testimonials page up after all. Its ok though, Luna is something that is best ecperianced personally in my opinion (not trying to make excuses or anything though, still really sorry). Also, I see we are already getting more traffic (yaaaaayyy new friends) And I am aware of the problem with the guestbook, but no I still don't know why it is displaying things 6 years in the future (I know I made that future joke before but wow guys did someone get lost in a time machine here, heh). That being said we are trying to work on it. Oh and be sure if you are in the area to stop by Ifrits place on sunday for the big party
This announcement from Chris was never posted during Jadusable's ARG. This seems to imply that the three day cycles that the players will be experiencing on YSHDT.net may feature very different versions of events from one another... This also means that the events depicted on YSHDT.net may not be accurate to what actually took place back in 2010 - they could all simply be showcasing different timelines separate from the one that we're all familiar with.
It seems that this version of Chris has lost the Moon Children's Testimonials. He also mentions that Matt is going to have a big party at his house on Sunday - the same day that the three day cycle is counting down to. This is possibly the "Vigil" that Matt suggested hosting during the previous cycles.
Scrolling further down, the players discovered a new post from Spencer found in the site's Guestbook:

Matt I thought you were our friend
This post is possibly referencing the fact that Matt would later go on to kill most of the Moon Children - including Spencer himself, as referenced in a note SKM found at The Orchard. Given the fact that the comment above was written as a cipher, it's likely that this was posted not by an alive "in-cycle" version of Spencer but instead a more aware and present "ghostly" version of him.
Afterwards, players began exploring the site's various other pages for more changes. Drowned's Contact Page was now titled "g4" and hid the following text:
This sheep is blind, its eyes to the one below the blue who's consumed beneath the one through ages. It is flesh sans soul, a once living traitor, a servant and nothing more. The man is smiling.
This seems to be referencing Kelbris - a connection that's made more clear by the presence of "G4", or "Giant Four". Here, Kelbris is described as a servant lacking a soul - likely due to his transcended status.
Likewise, Alex's Contact Page was now titled "g2", furthering the Giant connection. Matt's Contact Page hid the text "What did he do on sunday?" - possibly implying that the moment Matt turned on the Moon Children and killed most of them off was actually during his party on Sunday.
Just like its previous counterpart, Ben's Contact Page once again contained a timer counting down to the end of the cycle - "The Fourth Day". It also featured the following text:
JNNDE LIES SOKF SOON TO COMPLETE MY TRIVOAB BMIND TBODY FSOUL!JVQD ENBUHOTH THIS GAME WILL HAPPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL ALL IS CONSUMED!
This "game" that is being constantly repeated is likely referring to the cycles on YSHDT.net. This implies that someone, possibly Tenebris himself, is repeating all of these different cycles in the hopes of destroying everything.
Shortly after this, the players discovered a new page on YSHDT.net - "https://youshouldnthavedonethat.net/index.php/giant". This page was titled "1" and contained the same photo of Kelbris discovered back in 2010.
However, shortly afterwards, this page updated. It was now titled "g1 and contained distorted audio of the "Southern Swamp" area from Majora's Mask titled "D.ogg". Just like Alex and Kelbris before him, this was a clear allusion to another one of The Four Giants - Doug".
The players also discovered another new page - "https://youshouldnthavedonethat.net/index.php/r". Unfortunately, this page was blank for now.
Meanwhile, other players turned their attention to the site's various files. Many of YSHDT.net's original unlisted "Downloadable Files" were still in-tact. However, some of them were now corrupted. Upon viewing the codes of these corrupted files, the players discovered that extra text had been added in. Some of this text was actually an excerpt of a conversation between two Moon Children:
I can't believe he would go that far
Are you still there?
yeah sorry, I wonder how Rodney is taking it all, I mean I know they were not related by blood, but fuck thats hard to walk in on, and hard to carry out. Luna help him.
He is young, but he is very strong, I am sure he will be fine.
When told blood must be shed for his rite of passage, he did not hessitate, and he knew exactly of our targets who he wanted to choose.
But his own family.. I mean I know it was just his adoptive father but

This is a conversation between Rem and David - two lesser Moon Children who were briefly mentioned on YSHDT.net back in 2010. They are discussing a fellow Moon Child named Rodney. This is actually Matt, as it was revealed in 2010 that "Rodney" was simply one of his aliases. The conversation implies that Matt someone who was on the Moon Children's hit list - his very own adoptive father... Supposedly, this adoptive father was very unfit to be a parent, so Matt's resentment towards him wasn't questioned too much.
It's also worth noting that this chat was originally styled as if it were an IRC chat, implying that it took place within the Moon Children's very own IRC Chatroom.
Afterwards, the players turned their attention to another broken file - "jintod.ogg". This file held several secrets. First, its name is a cipher that translates to "Hubris". Secondly, its code contained some extra text that was breaking the file - text that read "Radio them and tell them what is happening to ifrit". This text originated from one of the notes found in The Orchard by SKM and it was presumably referring to Matt suddenly killing off his fellow Moon Children. Finally, once that text was removed from the file's code, it would play correctly:
Hiding right now... He'll kill us, I don't know what I'm doing... No, no... Ifrit. He- he... he wanted to talk to Ifrit. He's... oh, no... He's killing us. He's... Please.
This audio is presumably a recording of Matt killing off the Moon Children. Interestingly, the voice in the audio claims that "He" wanted to talk to Matt. However, who exactly this is referring to is unknown.
After combing over the site, the players turned their attention to Matt's old email address from 2010. To their surprise, it still worked.

Also I have not heard from Alex since the black out, which is a shame, since a certain incident resulting his friend introducing him to our group, he has been one of our greatest warriors.
I hope we can find him again soon as he is a valuable asset.
Matt claims that it is currently September 16th, 2010 from his perspective. This means that the Matt speaking here is not the present-day Matt that the players are all familiar with. Just like all of the other Moon Children found on YSHDT.net, this is simply a version of Matt from 2010 from the website's current cycle.
Also, just like during Jadusable's ARG, Alex seemingly disappeared from the Moon Children after "The Blackout". As a refresher, "The Blackout" is a mysterious event alluded to by the Moon Children. During it, various different Moon Children are said to have gone missing throughout various cycles.
Interestingly, Matt claims that Alex was introduced to the Moon Children by one of his friends...

I was not expecting emails, or so many, so soon. But anyone truly interested in our cause is welcome.

I wanted to know if joining was still an option for me.
From what I've read about on the site, it seems like most of meetings are in-person. I live in Canada and I'm still quite dependent on my parents.
Trips out of the country aren't an option for me, due to my financial situation. I'm not sure if any members live nearby.

If you wanted to come to us in the physical world that may be a bit challenging for you, in your current condition, I am afraid.
We are much bigger than we were a long time ago but we are still smaller than many "Real" as some might say, religions.
We are mostly on the American east coast (Florida, New york ect.) however After we finally get everything situated I will being to seriously get through applications to join for those who are serious.
I am expecting to have this all done after Sunday if we stick to schedule with no hang ups. In the mean time, check up on our theories and creed page for a little glimpse at what we are all about.
The player Aaver asks if they can still join the Moon Children despite living in Canada. Matt says that it may be difficult as the Moon Children is mainly situated on the American east coast. He also mentions that they are located in Florida in New York - something that was hinted at previously with the mention of the "New York Grotto".
I'm curious, what exactly's going down at the party on Sunday?
And, if I may ask, how late do you think it'll go?

The player Moondancer asks about Rosa. Matt reiterates that she's his sister and that he's been struggling to stay in contact with her since The Blackout.
That's kind of disappointing. Still, I understand.

Matt gives the players Spencer's email address. He also once again uses the term "Grotto" to refer to a Moon Children meeting ground and claims that their members are rapidly expanding in number.
By the way, was Kelbris' body ever found?
I heard he was electrocuted. but not much more.
That day in 2002 is something I do not like talking about.
I was young back then and it was a crazy and awful time, but what happened had to be done. It would have hurt either way.

The player Moondancer asks about what happened to Kelbris. Matt claims that the day he killed Hank in 2002 is difficult for him to talk about. Though he doesn't divulge any details, he claims that Kelbris's body will not be found.

The players continued searching YSHDT.net throughout the night. On July 4th, 2016, the second day began. The players decided to email Spencer.

Just like his comment found in the Guestbook earlier, this message from Spencer seems to be depicting his final moments as he was being killed by Matt.
Hoping to grant Spencer the ability to breathe, the player Aaver submits the "Zora Mask" - a mask from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask that would transform link into a water-breathing creature called a Zora. This was a success, as shortly after its submission, Spencer was suddenly able to speak more clearly:

An unstable entity that requires the souls and bodies of others to present itself, It speaks only through displays of the works of mankind, proxy communitcation.
The players immediately ask for the login information to unlock The Truth - the enigmatic locked page from 2010 that was never accessed. However, Spencer claims that he is not the one who can give them that information.
The players then ask about what exactly takes place at Matt's party on Sunday. Spencer explains that Kelbris finally awoke from his sleep and spoke to Matt. He claims that Kelbris always does this in every cycle and that "The song merely showed the world" - likely implying that the submission that the players thought summoned Kelbris in 2010 didn't actually summon him - Kelbris always arrives either way.
Regardless, on Sunday, Kelbris awakens and speaks to Matt and "changes" him somehow. After this, Matt begins acting under the guide of someone else... When asked who exactly this someone is who is guiding Matt, Spencer says that it is their previous leader - "a parasite of the body and soul". This is clearly referring to Mr. D - Tenebris. This all suggests that the reason why Matt killed the rest of the Moon Children is because Kelbris spoke to him and placed him under Tenebris's guidance.

Unfortunately, there is nothing more that the players can do for Spencer - he has already been transcended like Kelbris, Alex, and Doug.
Shortly after this, the players discovered Alex's email address and messaged him as well:

Alex was speaking very similarly to Spencer - likely because he was also transcended by Matt.
Meanwhile, the player Mugen Kagemaru sent one final email to Matt.

Surprisingly, his email was answered by Rosa - not Matt. It seems Rosa was once again occasionally using Matt's email address - much like how she did back in 2010.
The players turned their attention back to YSHDT.net. Here, the found that the name of the "Luna Prophecy" spoken by Kelbris had been changed to read "Honesty is the best policy.". Additionally, the text on Ben's Contact Page above the timer now read ""You couldn't change anything... whats makes you think you can this time?" - a clear message from Tenebris taunting the players for their failure in 2010.
As the day progressed, more oddities began appearing on the website. Firstly, the text "Do you honestly think you can escape from me?" was found hidden in the site's Search Page. Later on, the text above the Moon Children's banner changed to read "Hopeless". Finally, and most strikingly, nearly all of the content on the site's front page suddenly vanished. In its place was hidden text reading "who is mr. d?" and a broken audio file titled "Get_it_yet.ogg". Looking into this file's code revealed yet another hidden IRC chat between different Moon Children:
I told you for the last time I don't know what happened to Rosa, she is just fucking gone ok.
You know she barely even had anything to do with us, she was just here for the benefit of Ifrit.
Did it do this!? That fucking thing!? I knew this was all terrible, but how!? It did not have a body yet.

This is another IRC conversation between the Moon Children Rem and Danielle. It seemingly takes place after Matt began killing his fellow cultists on Sunday as Rem recounts what he saw to Danielle. Rem claims that he witnessed Kelbris's corpse knocking on Matt's door to talk to him. After this is presumably when Matt began his rampage. He also reiterates that Rosa has vanished - likely due to Kelbris confronting her and sending her to Luna's Parallelos, as she recounted back in 2015.
Rem also seems to imply that Matt disposed of Kelbris's body by throwing it into a pond.
Also, just before Rem tells Danielle who is responsible for killing the Moon Children, the chat log is cut off with the following message:
The puppet was merely a medium for the wisdom that must be spread. His borrowed son shall be a tool to bring the four and open the gate. His blood son is the sacrifice to give It form in this realm. Why is he smiling?
This message describes a "puppet" that was used to spread wisdom. This "puppet" is likely describing Kelbris, as Tenebris claims that his "blood son" was a sacrifice used to give "It" form - clearly referencing Ben and Tenebris. Interestingly, the message goes on to state that Kelbris's "borrowed son" will be used as a tool to summon The Four Giants and "open the gate" - likely referring to the process to summon Luna. However, who exactly this "borrowed son" is referring to is unknown.
On July 5th, 2016, YSHDT.net entered into its third day. Before the players could begin searching for changes, the website suddenly began corrupting - an event that became known as "The Distortion". The front page was now filled with odd text:

The player asks Jadusable if they're going to ever receive the real trailer for the "Hubris Game". Jadusable claims that they will sometime later in the week. As we all know, this never came to pass... Interestingly, the player is also seen asking "Are we going to need to warn Tyler or someone so we don't epic fail... again?".

Hey guys, just wanted to apologize for the site being down all day yesterday. We have a huge influx of trolls, no doubt because we're a bit more "mainstream" now. We've been going down every so often because of bandwidth overload, and we've gotten and insane amount of requests to join us, most of theM are trolls. We will woRry about all of this after Sunday though. I want to thank Chris for pushing the iDea for us to have that group reunion. I am excited to get to Spend timE with all of you again my old friEndS. Since it is starting tomorrow this will be my last post until next week, I have to get everything ready. See you all then.
P.S. Also I know it is late but TGIF since the site was down when I wanted to say it. Also shoot me a message if you are an old friend! I am trying to get plenty of people together so we can get some good chi energy going sunday, or not its all The Same to me.
This message seems to be a general update from Matt. He claims that the website was down most of the previous day - likely due to The Distortion. He also mentions the sudden influx of new users, which is likely due to the presence of the players. He also mentions that the idea of have a party on Sunday was Chris's idea and that he's looking forward to it.
However, upon closer examination, the players noticed that Matt's annoumcement had several misplaced capitalized letters. These spelled out an ominous message - "Mr. D sees".
Shortly after this discovery, Drowned's Contact Page was removed. Meanwhile, Ben's Contact Page had the following text added to it - "Running out of time." - hammering in the fact that the players were nearing the end of the cycle. This was accompanied with Drowned's avatar on the site's front page changing to "15423.gif" - a broken image whose code hid the following message: "This meddling in the present has taken my body only for my gain in the past. You are fools.". This is likely referencing the fact that the players rescued SKM from being used as Tenebris's physical vessel.
Hoping to find some sort of lead, the players began emailing Matt once again:
When and where will we meet?
The meeting grounds in Florida.
That is all I am saying because I know you are no one I know.

Matt implies that the party on Sunday will be hosted at a Moon Children location in Florida. He also implies that the number "15423" is very secretive for some reason...
Meanwhile, the banner text on YSHDT.net began changing once again, cycling through the following cryptic messages:
ARE YOU SURE THIS IS REAL? You are losing your mind. You are waking up now.
These messages were a reference to some text discovered on YSHDT.net during The Glitch back in 2011 - text that implied that perhaps what was being witnessed on the website wasn't real...
I am closer to you than you could imagine. Tired? While you sleep. It comes closer and closer. What are you afraid of? Who is Tyler? You are all very amusing to me.
Given the taunting and malicious nature of these messages, it can be assumed that these are actually from Tenebris himself. Additionally, some of these messages actually appeared to be responses to various replies posted by the players over Skype - implying that Tenebris was indeed watching the players' conversations.
Can images be trusted? Are you sure you asked the right question? Toying with you. You will come no closer. Enjoy your final hours. We will be waiting on the other side for you. This is no trick. You won't know until it has already happened. Clock is Ticking.
Most of these messages were taunting the players over how little time they had left before the current cycle reached its end. However, some of them seemed to be from another source entirely...
GET OUT. STOP. IT HURTS. HELP.
Another entity suddenly begins crying out for help. This is possibly Drowned, considering the fact that Tenebris was currently using him as a conduit.
Shortly afterwards, players discovered another broken audio file - "Line_.ogg", which also contained a hidden message within its code: "This giant is merely a puppet. I require one who may wear the mask.". Tenebris seemingly views Kelbris as little more than a puppet and a tool. Instead, he requires someone else - someone who will "wear the mask".
Meanwhile, some players began suggesting that they might need to use the website's Guestbook to post submissions and use The Ocarina. Unfortunately, as midnight grew closer, players discovered that the Guestbook was now locked... To make matters worse, Tenebris once again began taunting the players via the site's banner text:
Are you going to do something? Or are you just going to stand there and bleed? Where is your "Link" now?

Rosa claims that the players still do not understand their current situation and that Matt has been gone for a very long time...
As midnight drew closer, the audio on YSHDT.net changed to the track that plays in Majora's Mask as the three-day-cycle begins nearing its end:
Desperate for clues, the players checked Ben's Contact Page. Here, they found the following message:
I'M ALMOST THERE. YOUR LINK IS HERE. I WON'T LET IT FALL.
Likewise, Tyler's Contact Page now read:
If you see this, I promise I-
Tyler's message was cut off. However, they players wouldn't have to wait long to find the rest of it, as the channel "fj6rt missing" suddenly saw a new upload - "Tyler?".

This video begins with footage of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Adult Link is seen fighting Dark Link in the Temple of Time. Link backs away from Dark Link, taking two hits of damage. The second time Link is damaged, the footage stutters. Link gets hit twice more before pulling out his ocarina. Link plays the Song of Time before getting hit a final time, causing the video to stutter once more before ending.

After this video was uploaded, YSHDT.net went offline. The site now featured the same default-looking log-in screen from before.
On July 6th, 2016, YSHDT.net's second cycle was about to begin. However, before the website once again became unlocked, the text on the default "GoChina" log-in screen began to change...
What did you think you would gain? It changes nothing. Try again? Won't save you this time. Your time will run out. You won't find it.
These seemed to be more taunting messages from Tenebris. However, after a while, a separate entity began speaking through these log-in screen messages...
I am It. It does not want me to have this power. Gather your journals. My window is short. Ask.
This new entity was willing to answer some of the players' questions. In response, the players began asking questions in Skype, resulting in answers appearing from the entity on YSHDT.net's log-in screen:

An amalgamate?
Father son and spirit. So many to be one. All one but not the same.
Who is Tyler?

This entity describes Tenebris as if he were an amalgamation of different things. This is possibly due to the fact that Tenebris often uses ascended spirits as conduits and physical bodies as vessels, meaning he could have control over multiple different entities at any given time.
Strangely, this entity also seemingly implies that they themselves are Tenebris, as they identify themselves as "It", which has been used as one of Tenebris's labels in the past. However, this likely just suggests that they are one of the different spirits that are currently under Tenebris's control - not literally Tenebris themselves.
This entity then goes on to describe Tyler as both a redeemer and a destroyer. They also claim that Tyler himself is "It", suggesting that maybe Tyler is also under Tenebris's control somehow...

This entity claims that The Truth will be opened when The Four Giants arrive to "open the gate". However, they imply that this will come with some sort of cost...

The entity claims that they are simply waiting for "the end" and freedom. They then go on to describe Tenebris as their own "Hubris" and "Corruption". Meanwhile, Ben is simply a sacrifice and a symbol of purity.

The entity implies that they way the players can change things is through "her power" - likely referring to The Ocarina.
After this, the entity became a bit more frantic as it began running out of time:

g1 is from outside this place in this time, it will come when the time is right.
g2 is waiting, suffering for his failure as the false one who has beckoned It.
g3 is waiting, a victim of g2’s creator, suffering for its stagnance amongst all it took part in.
g4 is the flesh of the father of lies, creator of the sacrifice, one to offer its children in hubris, stop it and will be waiting.
The entity proceeds to describe the current state of The Four Giants. Doug is currently away. However, he'll arrive when the time is right. Alex is waiting and suffering for "beckoning It" - likely referring to how he interacted with Tenebris by playing the Majora's Mask Cartridge. Spencer is currently waiting as well. He's described as a "victim of g2's creator", though what this means exactly is unknown. Finally, the entity claims that Kelbris will be waiting for the players if they manage to "stop It" - likely referring to Tenebris.
After this, the entity agreed to answer three more questions before leaving:

Tenebris suddenly cuts off the entity and taunts the players:
Tenebris
"This slip up will not occur again. Need I remind you who’s game you are playing? You will learn soon. Disobedience has consequences. And what are these consequences? What lies beyond the veil?"
To summarize everything learned above:
Tenebris is a sort of amalgamate that uses the spirits and bodies of others. As Spencer described earlier, he is "a parasite of the body and soul". The Entity speaking to the players on the log-in screen above seems to be one of the various spirits that is currently being used and controlled by Tenebris. Interestingly, this entity also claims that Tyler himself may somehow be currently used and controlled by Tenebris. However, it is unknown if this is referring to the Tyler that the players are all familiar with or one of the Tyler's found within the various cycles of YSHDT.net.
Regardless, the players' main objective seems to be to break into the locked "The Truth" page on YSHDT.net. Unfortunately, they will be unable to do so until all of The Four Giants arrive. However, the entity speaking to the players warns that this will come with some sort of cost and they question if the players will truly want to access "The Truth" in the end...
Shortly after the conversation above, YSHDT.net's log-in page disappeared and the site became accessible once again. The website's second cycle had officially begun as another first day began.
YSHDT.net seemed to be fairly similar to how it was during the previous cycle, with the same announcements being posted as well. However, there were a few odd differences.
First, Ben's Contact Page now contained the following message:
The timer resets. They whisper for you to stop... You do not understand what you are doing.
This page seemed to suggest that the players were inadvertently harming one or more people... However, the meaning of this is unknown. Continuing on, the players realized that the Search Page was also no longer functioning. Instead, it simply contained the following taunting message from Tenebris: "Looking for something?". Various pages of YSHDT.net also now contained hidden textures from the Elegy Statue tucked away within their source code - almost as if Tenebris's presence was growing stronger...
Unfortunately, the players' exploration of YSHDT.net was cut short. During the early hours of "July 7th, 2016", a rogue player impersonating Mugen Kagemaru submitted "FastForward.arg" - a video that featured the "Song of Double Time" being played. This is a song from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask that allows Link to fast forward to the next day in the cycle. However, this video played it multiple times, resulting in the players immediately skipping to the end of the second cycle.
This action seemingly resulted in a response from Tenebris himself:
Did you think that would work? The game may not play itself, rogue.
The players began frantically searching YSHDT.net, hoping to find something that may help undo the damage caused by the rogue player. Returning to the "https://youshouldnthavedonethat.net/index.php/r" page discovered in the previous cycle, players found that it now contained the following text: "A voice". Players immediately connected this to the song "New Wave Bossa Nova" and proceeded to submit it in the site's Guestbook. This quickly took effect, resulting in Rosa emailing several players.
The first of these players was Greth - a fairly prominent player from 2010.
We have spoken before. Many times, you may not remember. The game has occurred beyond the life time of one.

Rosa informs the players that this "game" has been repeated many times - so much so that it extends well beyond the players' lifetime. This might imply that YSHDT.net has been undergoing countless cycles that the players themselves haven't even witnessed.
Rosa also tells the players that they need to focus on Kelbris. However, a sacrifice might be required in order for the players to achieve victory...

Rosa claims that the second cycle will indeed be ending soon due to the rogue player's actions.

Surprisingly, Rosa seems to imply that her brother Matt is sacrifice that must be made in order for the players to access The Truth.
Why do we speak now? And most importantly how much time do we have to converse?

The next step for the key to truth involves Kevin. Be careful, he is much more insidious than you could know.
Rosa claims that Kevin will somehow be involved in the players attempt to access The Truth. However, whether or not this is referring to present-day Regiminis or a version of Kevin from 2010 within YSHDT.net is unknown.
Rosa also claims that the player Beeb is wise. This is likely referring to the player's following theory:
"We need to unleash Kelbris, lose Matt and Rosa as a sacrifice in order to get closer to the Truth. By doing so, we will also reach Kevin, who is our next step according to the latest Rosa email."Afterwards, Rosa left the following message for the players:
Check your notes. I ask of you - Who took my brother? How was the beast called upon?
This is likely referring to Kelbris. It seems as though Rosa was attempting to get the players to summon him once again by using The Ocarina - much like how they did back in 2010 on accident. However, before the players could act, YSHDT.net once again went offline as the second cycle came to an end. Afterwards, the site once again reverted back to a default "GoChina" log-in screen, though this time it read "‘MISTAKE’ For Who?".
On July 10th, 2016, the third cycle began as the website opened once again. It once again appeared similarly to how it did during the previous two cycles. Additionally, the announcements made up until this point were all the same as well. However, checking around other parts of YSHDT.net revealed some oddities.
Firstly, the "Luna Prophecy" had been renamed to the "Traitor Prophecy" - a clear reference to how Kelbris was branded as a blasphemous traitor in 1998. The website's banner text and briefly changed to read "Its so dark".
However, before the players could find much more, another rogue player suddenly appeared - this time impersonating the player Greth. This alternate Greth submitted the "Song of Healing" in the Guestbook, resulting in the following message from Tenebris:
So soon? Greth? We think not. Framing one another. You are falling apart already. Hilarious.
Hoping to make up for his imposter's mistake, the player Greth proceeded to submit the "New Wave Bossa Nova" instead.
Immediately afterwards, the audio on the front page of YSHDT.net was replaced with the voice clip of "Bongo Bongo" - an enemy from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time who was previously used to represent Kelbris. The text on the page changed too, now reading "The moon is early" and "I WILL BE KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR NEXT. LET ME IN I WISH TO SPEAK.". The message was clear - the players had successfully summoned Kelbris.
The players immediately took to the Guestbook to ask him some questions:
Hello Kelbris. I will speak for us. Here are our questions:
What did you want to speak with Matt about?
PASS KNOWLEDGE OF BEYOND THIS REALM.
GIVE RESPONSIBILITY TO THE MASK BARER.
BEGIN THE RITUAL OF 4.
What did the traitors do to act against The Order?

SHE IS NOT TO BE SEEN BY MORTAL EYES.
Kelbris claims that when he confronted Matt on Sunday, he passed down knowledge to him from beyond this realm. This somehow began the "Ritual of Four" - likely referring to how Matt proceeded to transcend Alex and Spencer. Interestingly, he also refers to Matt as the "Mask Bearer"...
The players also ask how the Lunar Children became enemies of the Moon Children. Kelbris responds by claiming that the traitors "left with the speaker of prophecy" - likely meaning that they left the Moon Children to follow Kelbris to the Lunar Children. However, he also notes that he himself spoke "one false testament", though he doesn't elaborate on what this is.
Finally, Kelbris pronounces his faith in Luna and reiterates that she is very much real.
Shortly after this, the website's banner text changed to the following: "What did you let him do?". The players had initially summoned Kelbris so that the sacrifice could be made, but was it worth it? As the players were pondering this, some of them suddenly began receiving phone calls:

The voice on the phone is revealed to be Tenebris. Tenebris also implies that he is Ben, BEN, and Tyler - likely referencing the fact that he is somewhat of an amalgamate of various controlled spirits. This is very similar to what the entity speaking on YSHDT.net's log-in page stated previously. Because of this, we can assume that that entity was actually Tyler. However, once again, whether or not this is actually the Tyler that the players were all familiar with or instead a Tyler trapped within YSHDT.net from 2010 is still unclear.
Regardless, the players continued calling the phone number. This resulted in a hushed voice whispering "Don’t... Open... The Truth.". However, upon calling the number a second time, players would be greeted with a dark, raspy voice repeating "You have to get into The Truth". The contents of The Truth and whether or not the players should access it was as confused as ever...
Shortly after this, the players discovered a new hidden file on YSHDT.net - "TheTruth.txt". This file was locked behind the password "Tyler". Once opened, it read as follows:

This file implies that Jadusable's ARG never ended back in 2010 and that instead Tenebris was simply trying to distract the players... This is something that many theorized back on Within Hubris due to the questionable canonicity of several of Jadusable's posts that were initially presented as out-of-character...
Later that night, Chris posted his usual announcement regarding the Moon Children Testimonials. However, this time it was different:

Subject: update
Hey guys it's chris again (STILL NOT ASCENDED DX ). Just wanted to chek in with a quick hello! I am still working on the testimonials stuff, a lot harder than I would have been if SOMEBODY would get on the IRC (Ifriiiiiiiit where are youuuuuuuuu????) But a litle bit of focus hleped me find the testimonials (I think) I don't remember us having so few (and all of the ones I found were from traitors Ewwww) so I will have to look around a bit more. IN THE MEAN TIME, for those who are in the know and wanna see them, I put them somewhere for you to go get them. You might wonder WHYYYY I did that, but its so that you can get them out and open them up in a quick zip. From there if you have any trouble, if you are in the know, you should know how to get pass.
In this post, Chris laments the fact that he's still not ascended. He also mentions that he's successfully restored some of the Moon Children Testimonials. However, the only ones he was able to recover were all from traitors who later became Lunar Children. Also, he claims he's hidden them somewhere on the site and locked them behind a password that the Moon Children's inner circle should know.
After this, the players began searching for the elusive Testimonials. On July 11th, 2016, the cycle entered into its second day. Eventually, the players noticed that the site's Creed Page now featured a broken audio file - "Testimonials.mp3". Downloading this file and saving it as a ZIP file allowed the players to access it - but only after using the correct password. After several tries, the players finally found the correct one - "15423".

Jeremy “J” (1998): Hahaha, well what can I say, this group has honestly changed my life for the better in so many ways. It has given me a sense of purpose and adventure. I have both a family of the Moon and a family by the dictionary definition now thanks to The Moon Children hahahaha! When my son is born next month, I can't wait for him to learn the ways of Her along with his dad! Thank you everyone hahahahaha! My brother has even come around as well (the crazy old man hahaha) so get ready for one more. Hope you are ready for the boys to finally get back together Hanky ol pal, hahahahaha!
The testimonial above was written in 1998 by a Moon Child named Jeremy J.. He implies that he's married a fellow Moon Child and that their son is going to be born next month. Jeremy also claims that he has a brother who he's finally convinced to join the cult as well. Additionally, he mentions another friend of his - Hank, or in other words, Kelbris.
William Reynolds (2001): Luna has helped me through such dark times. For those of you who know, my brother was diagnosed with lung cancer last year. He suffered for a full year with no hope of recovery and had no positive reaction to the treatments. Due to complications one of his lungs collapsed a month ago. The beeping of the heart monitor, him wheezing between cries for help “It hurts mom it hurts!” “Will, please don't leave just yet, I'm so scared”, Was too much for me to bare. I know why I was forsaken, I just could not take seeing it anymore. I could not be there to watch him die and now he is gone. I felt alienated in my own home, labeled a cruel monster for my incapacity for my brothers suffering. My mother could not cope, and after a long nearly catatonic state of despair ended her own life. After the suicide of my mother coupled with the death of my brother, my dad descended into a chronic state of depression and drunkenness. He had no tolerance for me, a sick weakling. Had I not found my true family I would not know what to do with myself. I hate it, I just fucking hate it. Everything my life was before now. But with Her I am at last free and I know with Her power, She can mend all that has been broken. I am sorry Justin, I am so sorry. When She brings you back, please forgive me. Please. I miss you bro. This testimonial was written by William Reynolds in 2001. He recollects how his brother Justin died from lung cancer and the terrible strain it placed on his family.
Hank Hubbard (1990): This has been the most enlightening and inspirational experience of my short and yet long life. Even now at age 53 I am but still a child. I spend my more recent days with my now wife Ana, as she prefers, awaiting the birth of my son later this year contemplating the ways of our Goddess. I hope that soon as a family we may together experience the glory of ascension, the euphoria of flying as gods in the realms beyond. To shape worlds as we see fit. Glory unto our most exalted Goddess.
The final testimonial was written in 1990 by none other than Hank himself - Kelbris. Here, his full name is revealed to be Hank Hubbard and it's revealed he was born in 1937. Hank reveals that he has a wife that he's nicknamed "Ana" and that the two of them are expecting to have a son later this year - Ben.
On July 12th, 2016, the third cycle entered into its third day. In the early hours of the morning, the site's text banner changed to read as follows: "Get it yet?". This was a clear reference to "Get_it_yet.ogg" - the file that was previously discovered to have a conversation hidden in it between Rem and Danielle. Upon checking this file again, the players discovered that the conversation within it had been updated:
But he did not kill Ifrit he just vanished after going to Ifrit.
So who did all of this then?
Not Kelbris, it was Ifrit!
He was stumbling around and acting like a fucking lunatic, shouting and mumbling to himself.

The conversation was no longer being interrupted and we are finally able to see Rem's complete reply. Here, he once again confirms that Matt was the one who killed off most of the Moon Children on Sunday. Interestingly, he claims that Matt appeared to be in a sort of trance. Additionally, Rem claims that Matt was saying a bunch of things that "K" used to say. This "K" likely refers to Kevin. As we all know, Kevin was secretly a Lunar Child who had infiltrated the ranks of the Moon Children under the alias "Insidiae". Matt repeating Kevin's beliefs in this trance is likely an early sign of his eventual allegiance to the Lunar Children.
Shortly after this, the players made a startling discovery. Matt's entry on the site's About Page now listed his name as "Mathew Hubbard". This implies that Matt was actually Hank's son... Meaning that when Matt killed Kelbris to join the Moon Children in 2002, he was actually killing his father. This also explains why Matt previously claimed that Ben was his brother back in 2010.
However, the logistics of this were a bit confusing... It's odd that throughout his time as Patrem or during his testimonial as Kelbris, Hank never mentioned having a second child... Another questionable aspect of this is Matt's sister, Rosa, who is also barely ever mentioned by Hank. These oddities make it clear that there's still more details to Hank and Matt's connection that have yet to be revealed...
Another odd discovery was Alex's Contact Page, which now read "JHalex - time splitting?". This seems to be a message from Alex himself questioning the logic of the various different cycles that YSHDT.net is going through.
As the day went on, midnight drew near. However, before the third cycle drew to a close, YSHDT.net saw an unexpected announcement from Insidiae - Kevin.

Subject: Our 4th day
Hello everyone, sorry I have not had time to post as I have been very busy behind the scenes working on many things both in relation to this website, as well as this group overall. However I would like to take this moment of time to say I am happy to see us all back in action nearly 4 days strong now. Short time I know, but given the extended break this group has taken it feels like quite a large sum of activity by comparison. I have finally had the chance to speak face to face with Ifrit amd am glad that we seem to be getting along quite well so quickly. Very happy to see we seem to have a lot in common now. He also informed me of his celebration he plans to have tomorrow, for which I would be very excited to be a part of, however I will be busy elsewhere and will have no choice but to stop in near the end of tomorrows festivities, the items that had been brought over from the residence of the traitors have interested us all greatly and I will be looking further into the business of them during this time. Hope to see you all tomorrow, more information to come.
This was a brand new post from Kevin that was unique from other cycles. Within it, Kevin mentions that he's spoken with Matt face-to-face and that the two now have very much in common - a dark reference to the trance that Matt would later find himself in while spouting Lunar Children dogma. Interestingly, Kevin mentions that some items belonging to the Lunar Children have been brought to the Moon Children. It's likely that this is referring to the copy of the Libro Lunarus that Alex stole and took to The Orchard - the same copy that was later recovered by SKM in 2011.
Players also took interest in Kevin's wording - "Our 4th day". This seemed to be a reference to the infamous "Fourth Day Glitch" - an exploit that can be preformed in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask that allows the player to enter into a glitchy fourth day outside of the typical three-day-cycle. This was the same glitch that Alex preformed while playing the haunted Majora's Mask Cartridge. This led to the players discussing whether or not they should preform this glitch as a submission. In response, YSHDT.net suddenly updated:

While the players were weighing their options, another rogue player suddenly emerged and posted their own submission - one that employed the "Fourth Day Glitch".
Shortly afterwards, YSHDT.net went offline.
