The story so far...
In the previous section, the players had lost contact with their Link, Tyler. Thankfully, Drowned helped them regain access to Lunarchidlren.com. Here, they discovered that the site had been completely revamped and now featured posts from a new Lunar Child, Liquidsaint, who was presumably the same "Saint" who constructed Regiminis's "Portal". Strangely, Liquidsaint had many mannerisms that were similar to SKM...
Liquidsaint shared more footage of the Blood Moon Ritual, which featured Matt sacrificing a fellow cultist while communicating with Patrem. During this video, Tenebris began speaking as he questioned Patrem's authority and claimed that he himself was the "True Father". Shortly after this, the Internet Detectives discovered that their fellow player, Zack Nelson, was indeed canon. Unfortunately, before they could learn more, it was revealed that Zack had died and was presumably ascended.
Meanwhile, back on Johnisdead.com, the players discovered a large maze of inter-connected pages - something that they would later dub as a "Hole". This Hole cryptic imagery relating to many different characters, including a mysterious "D" that the players are supposedly familiar with, a woman whose name is only partially revealed as "___n_", and The Four Giants.
Based off of the characters of the same name from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, these Four Giants seemed to be four powerful grotesque entities. The First Giant was associated with swamps and forestry. He was only depicted as a smiling, distorted face. The Second Giant is associated with mountains and was represented by a disturbing pig-like entity. The Third Giant is associated to the sea and is depicted as a fish-like entity. The Fourth Giant is associated with valleys or canyons and is actually revealed to be Kelbris.
When they finally reached the end of the Hole, the players discovered a threatening message from a glasses-earing entity directed at Tyler in the form of "alwayswatchingyou.wmv". The players are still desperately trying to find a way to keep Tyler safe as their enemies continue growing in strength and number...

Story
On June 28th, 2015, the players were still analyzing the contents of "alwayswatchingyou.wmv". Suddenly, John's Skype account became active, joining one of the player's calls:
((John's webcam activates, showing a black screen.))
((Text begins appearing on John's screen:))
"A new chapter begins"
((The song "@90" by K3v1n begins playing.))
"Run Tyler."
"Show me."
((Footage of someone running down a street begins playing on John's screen.))
"Tyler is-"
After this, a timer appeared on John's screen - the same timer that was seen in the video "alwayswatchingyou.wmv". The players only had about four minutes and forty seconds to act. Fearing the worst, they ultimately decided to submit the "Song of Inverted Time" - a song from Majora's Mask that slows the passage of time. This seemed to work, stopping the timer around the two minute mark.
Shortly after this, Johnisdead.com updated. The front page now featured "FoggyWorld223.jpg" - an image similar to the on that appeared on its front page originally. It was also titled "TIME", implying that the players' submission had something to do with this change...
On June 30th, 2015, Johnisdead.com underwent several more updates. First, Key592 briefly updated with "heistryingtohide.gif" - an image of a young boy wearing a gas mask. Shortly after this, the front page updated. Now titled "mymasks", the page featured a distorted image of John's eye with Tyler's face in its pupil. This was accompanied with a distorted version of the "Song of Unhealing" titled "t.mp3" and the text "Every game has rules, he chose this game when he chose the boy.".
"The boy" in question is very likely referring to Ben - the innocent, drowned child who was used by BEN back in 2010. At this point, the parallels between Tenebris, BEN, and Mr. D were becoming impossible to ignore... However, the players still lacked many important details, so they pressed on.

While the above was taking place, several users on Reddit had stumbled across Johnisdead and began asking questions. The Internet Detectives quickly noticed this and arrived to welcome newcomers to the ARG. However, shortly after this, an account simply named "TLink" appeared and made a new thread titled "donttrusttheinternetdetectives". This was clearly Tenebris attempting to smear the players' names to keep them from gaining new members.
Interestingly, Tenebris's post also contained a link to a new page - "https://johnisdead.com/listen". This page was titled "trustme" and contained two distorted images of Tenebris - "Bentlres.jpg" and "assimilating.gif" - as well as the distorted sounds of a fire.

Key592 underwent a few more changes after this. These included the addition of the files "number.txt" and "gate.txt", which contained John's old cellphone number and a link to the Internet Detectives Discord server respectively. When the players would call John's phone number, they were met only with the "Song of Unhealing" and distorted whispering.
All of this seemed to imply that Tenebris now held more control over John's spirit than ever before.
On July 2nd, 2015, the player ADULT_LINK found an unexpected traveler on JanusVR - Zack Nelson - a former Internet Detective who had just recently been killed and ascended. Now going by the name Gizemo, Zack Nelson and the players partake in a surprisingly casual conversation.

It seems as though Zack has already adapted to his ascended state fairly well - so much so that he's able to browse the internet via its code and use it to build his "new world" - presumably referring to his home.
After this, Zack begins explaining more of what exactly happened to him after he ascended:

After he was ascended, Zack's spirit was trapped within a strange website - Decoy.link. This site had a script on it that prevented him from leaving, trapping him there. However, he was eventually rescued by SKM, who deleted the script, allowing Zack to freely explore the internet.
As for Decoy.link itself, not much is known about this website. Unfortunately, very little of its contents were archived. From what was saved, we can deduce that it was once a website that belonged to a strange company called "WireTalk". The website itself took on the appearance of a simple blog. However, it seemed to be heavily corrupted and contained very little content.
Decoy.link also had a Janus Room. However, this, too, was fairly bare-bones, featuring only a small black room - presumably the location where Zack's spirit was trapped...

Zack explains that when he was still struggling to escape Decoy.link, he would occasionally hide inside another website - Lurch.co. This website was completely empty, containing only a small, dark Janus room. He also reveals that SKM has given him control of the Decoy.link domain. During the middle of this conversation, he also realizes that he's since been given control of Lurch.co as well.
Now that he has control of Lurch.co, Zack begins editing the Janus Room in real time, adding a small light in the middle of the room.

The players say farewell to Zack as he leaves to work more on his new virtual home.
On July 5th, 2015, Key592 updated with a text file titled "ILLUSION.txt", which was filled with countless iterations of the word "LIES". However, there were several misplaced letters that spelled out "TRUTH". Shortly afterwards, the front page of the site updated with a distorted image of Tenebris and a corrupted video of John titled "TL.webm".
Later that night, the player Sengi discovered that the front page of Johnisdead.com now featured its own Janus Room that featured an incomplete red-colored house. Unfortunately, this Janus Room was removed before the players could explore it fully. It's possible that this was Zack's incomplete home...
On July 8th, 2015, players discovered that Fakeworld had updated. The small, corrupted room that the players were trapped in now had a doorway. This led to a large, distorted landscape that was painted in a corrupted, purple texture. This landscape featured some hills, a valley, and what seemed to be a large building of sorts.

On July 12th, 2015, after many weeks of silence, Tyler finally uploaded a new video to Silentdork - "Bored and had a weird dream".
Description
Everything has been sorted out since the incident with the masked person who invaded my property. Ill be moving in with my girlfriend at the end of the year, which means Ill be leaving the country so I can say goodbye to anymore locale stalkers. But for now life is pretty boring, so until then Ill just use this channel to vlog about things whenever anything worth bullshitting about comes to mind. (On a side note, I really need to get a new phone. Its been fucking up forever but now that I see the way the video recorded I know its probably on its last leg.)

The video begins with Tyler recording himself using his cell phone. He is seen lying on his bed. He is wearing a beanie with a skull on it.
Tyler: "Hey, world. I've been really bored recently. Hasn't been a lot to do, there's just been... Work and home, and home and work, and work and home... And so I thought I'd make a video - just an update about my life. Not a lot's been going on recently. It's been boring. Well, aside from communication with, um, Carla. We don't communicate on Skype-"
The audio stutters and cuts at this point.
Tyler: "-use, actually she's really obsessed with, uh, anonymity... Which is cool, actually, I should- I probably should be, too. So, uh, we're using this client called Linphone- (Coughs) -to talk back and forth. That's just to the, uh, the people who see this video - assuming that they're still, uh... closely watching my Skype as it seemed that they were before. They'll... (Coughs) ...understand the main reason why I haven't gone on Skype... And because you're all fucking batshit insane. (That)'s a real piece of fucking work... Uh, joke website you made, though, uh... 'Johnisdead.com'. (Coughs) That's real fucking funny. I see you guys update it though every now and then for, uh, whatever reason. I went back and looked again recently and, uh- (Coughs) There's just a solid red page... With a... Sort of a repeating piano chord. I dunno, maybe I just don't get the fucking joke because I'm not on the inside. (Coughs)"
Tyler coughs as the video stutters once again. An image of a green face with static eyes, 'mask1iswatching.webm', briefly appears on screen a few times. The final time, the word 'ME' is written below the image.
Tyler: "Ugh, got a really fucking bad cough today. Um... Yeah. I'm making a video because I'm fucking bored as hell. I had a really weird dream last night, actually. Guess that's something to talk about. Had this dream, uh... Somebody was knocking on my door... And whenever I started to get close to the door, for some reason the door- the door started to turn green..."
After Tyler says this, the video cuts to black for a couple of seconds.
Tyler: "Just as I was opening the door I heard a voice... (Coughs) Heard a voice say, 'It's not time for that'."
As Tyler repeats what he heard the voice say, a strange noise can be heard in the background. A strange looking filter covers the footage before quickly turning back to normal.
Tyler: "But, uh... So I open the door, and when I open the door I was immediately greeted by the forest."
When Tyler says 'forest', two images faintly flash on screen. One appears to be an image of a forest - the most noticeable detail being a branch coming out of the frame. The second is difficult to make out, though it seems to be a face grinning at the camera.
Tyler: "There's a big-ass forest surrounding where I live... Not too big, but it's pretty big. So... Then... Something was telling me I needed to go into the woods. So I went into the woods and I went down the path past John's house... And-"
The video freezes and stutters once again. The footage glitches out.
Tyler: "-It was on fire... Which, I mean... Yeah... I-I know why that would be in the dream, but I mean... And then, uh, I got to this... old, rundown building. It was- Kinda looked like, um- cause we have a lot of them around here- Kinda looked like a, uh, a fishery-"
The video stutters once more when Tyler says 'fishery'.
Tyler: "-breed fish, 'cause they're too lazy to go fucking catch them. But, uh... Yeah, it looked like a fishery, and it was real, real rundown, it looked like, uh... The most distinct thing I remember was that roof in one area of it had caved in... Kinda looked like the main area had like a caved in roof. But, uh... When I got there, there-"
The video seems to have been edited here, as Tyler is cut off.
Tyler: "...And there was, uh... A big-"
The video cuts once again.
Tyler: "-Guy... And like there's these people that had masks. There was these three other people-"
Another video cut.
Tyler: "-All pounding... Like, it- (Sigh) There was just a ton of shit going on, like there was- there were the green- four green guys, and... The robed dude... And... A big-ass fucking red dude, and then there was like... a smaller red guy that was on fire. And... there was like this big fucking thing in the sky smiling at me and shit. It was just... coming down slowly. Just looking at me, coming down slowly... And, uh-"
Another video cut.
Tyler: "(After) that, there was a bunch of old-"

Tyler: "-They fucking grabbed me up... And sat me down in this-"
Another video cut.
Tyler: "-And... all of a sudden... I just heard someone screaming eleven... eleven, eleven, eleven, and eleven over and over-"
The video stutters and cuts. Each time Tyler says eleven, the audio gets more and more distorted.
Tyler: "I don't know... I remember it felt like my legs were being shocked... And then one of the green guys came-"
Another video cut.
Tyler: "-screaming about something, and they all got together... All four of the green guys grabbed the smiling thing... As it came down. They grabbed it- It was about to just land on my ass. As I looked up, they grabbed it. Then I woke up. So yeah, I guess that's pretty interesting. I don't know what it means, though."
Summary
- Tyler claims that his life has been mostly uneventful lately. He's still planning on moving in with Carla in Australia near the end of the year.
- Tyler notes that Carla is very interested in anonymity. Because of this, the two have begun using an alternative to Skype called Linphone.
- Tyler still believes that the players are crazy and are the ones responsible for creating Johnisdead.com.
- Whenever Tyler visits Johnisdead.com, all he sees a red page with a piano chord.
- Tyler describes a strange dream he had:
- Someone was knocking on Tyler's door. Whenever he would approach the door, it would turn green.
- Tyler heard a voice saying "It's not time for that".
- Tyler opened the door to find it led into the woods surrounding his home.
- Tyler walked through the woods down a path that led past John's house, which was on fire.
- Tyler came across the Fishery, where he saw a large person, many people wearing masks, and three separate people.
- Tyler also saw four green people, a man in a robe, a red person, a smaller red person who was on fire, and a large, smiling thing in the sky that was descending.
- Tyler claims that he was picked up and sat down on something as many people shouted "eleven" repeatedly.
- Tyler says he felt himself being electrocuted as the four green people from earlier grabbed the smiling, descending object in the sky.
- This video contains many glitches, implying that Tyler's cellphone is still somewhat corrupted.
Thankfully, Tyler seems to be perfectly fine. He claims that things have been fairly normal and that his plans to move to live with Carla near the end of the year are progressing smoothly. He also notes that Carla has become more obsessed with anonymity, resulting in the two of them moving their communications to a Skype alternative called Linphone.
Tyler comments on Johnisdead.com, which he still believes is a cruel joke that the players themselves created. Strangely, the claims that whenever he attempts to visit the website, he sees a red page with a piano chord - something that seems to be unique for him, as no other players have seen this page.
Tyler begins describing a strange dream that he had:
The dream began with Tyler in his home. He heard someone knocking on his door. Strangely, whenever he would approach this door, it would turn green - not too unlike the depiction of The Four Giants found on Johnidead.com. Tyler heard a voice tell him "It's not time for that" - the same text that appeared in the video "alwayswatchingyou.wmv".
When Tyler opened the door, he found that it led to the woods outside his home. Here, he progressed down a path that led past John's burning home. He continued along this path until he stumbled upon the Fishery, despite him supposedly having never visited it before. Here, he saw many strange individuals. These included the following:
- A large person
- Many masked individuals
- Three separate people
- Four green people (Possibly The Four Giants)
- A robed man
- A red person (Possibly Regiminis)
- A smaller red person engulfed in flames (Possibly John)
- A large smiling object in the sky (Possibly Luna / The moon)
It's possible that the identities of some of the figures listed above overlap - both due to the vague nature of this dream and also the fact that Tyler's upload was somewhat corrupted, interrupting his explanation at several points. Regardless, several of these figures seem to describe various characters in the ARG.
At some point, Tyler encounters "a bunch of old" individuals. However, his explanation glitches out, cutting him off. Afterwards, he is sat down on something as the various masked individuals surrounding him begin repeatedly chanting "Eleven" - a reference to Undecim Nocte. After this, Tyler feels as though he's electrocuted as the large, Luna-esque entity begins descending towards him. The Four Giants then reach up and grab the moon as Tyler wakes up.
The contents of this dream are a bit of a mystery. However, it can safely be assumed that Tyler was receiving a prophetic dream or warning about a potential Lunar Child ritual that will be taking place on the next Undecim Nocte - November 11th, 2015. This is possibly the date that the Lunar Children are hoping to sacrifice Tyler on...
As if in response, Johnisdead.com updated on July 13th, 2015 with the message "seeyou" and the image "TIME.jpg", featuring a distorted silhouette of Tyler and text that read "It's not time yet".
On July 20th, 2015, Johnisdead.com updated once again. The page was now titled "thetimeisnear" and contained a strange image of an eye titled "v.gif".
However, upon examining this page's source code, players discovered something interesting - a YouTube link. This led players to a new YouTube channel - one belonging to none other than Vincent Adams. Interestingly, this channel's avatar was the Egyptian "Eye of Horus".
The YouTube link in question brought players to an unlisted video that was uploaded back on January 11th, 2015 titled "3Song inspired by sleep deprivation (hardcore techno music)".

This video is simply a techno song created by Vincent Adams with text that reads:
"my song inspired by sleep deprivation"
Summary
- This video simply featured a song that was supposedly being composed by Vincent.
The video above seems to be a casual upload from Vincent. The text on-screen implies that he's suffering from sleep deprivation - likely due to Patrem's influence inside his body... The video's tags also imply that this has put in him quite a miserable state.
Shortly after this find, John's Skype account became active and sent the message "1Helpme". This led to the players checking Johnisdead.com, only to discover that it had undergone a rather large update. The site now featured countless Redirect Pages - a page that players would be randomly redirected to whenever they attempted to access a non-existent pages. The existence of these pages punished players for incorrectly guessing the URL of hidden pages. However, they also all featured interesting files of their own...

Strangely, the final page listed above, "https://johnisdead.com/neverending_dream", contained the following text hidden in its source code:
WHERE ARE YOU. scared... mommy just please wake me up. PLEASE MOMMY, promise i'll be the little boy you've always wanted, I miss you i'm so, i'm so lonely... mommy im so sorry. I promise i'll be a better son, I whatis? wherethis? help me please, i'm so scared. where is everyone?
This is the same message posted by Chris on Within Hubris in the Wayward Horizon board - a post that was speculated to have been sent by his ascended spirit. This possibly implies that Chris's spirit is now somehow within Johnisdead.com...
Meanwhile, the players had an idea. If John's spirit was being suppressed by Tenebris, perhaps they could use The Ocarina to contact him. This led to the player ADULT_LINK submitting the "New Wave Bossa Nova".
On July 21st, 2015, the players' submission took effect, resulting a few texts from John's old cellphone number. These texts included "3" and "ONE TWO THREE". This led to the discovery of a new page - "https://johnisdead.com/3", which contained a locked RAR file named "three.rar". Thankfully, the page's source code contained a hint towards this locked file - "Use A key to unlock". After some experimentation, players discovered that the password for "three.rar" was literally "A key".
Upon opening "three.rar", the players found an audio file titled "three.mp3", which featured a fairly long SSTV signal:

The first image seen above is a burning house with text reading "He burned". This is a clear reference to John's death. After this is a quote that originates from Youshouldnthavedonethat.net - specifically the "Luna Prophecy" that was supposedly whispered to Kelbris by Luna, reading "The number three is reported by kelbris to have been said numerous times.". Interestingly, the words "by Kelbris" have been scratched out. The importance of the number three is likely why this page and its files are all named "three" - as well as a possible reference to the three figures who are also see in the SSTV signal.
These three figures each have an associated symbol:
- Left Figure - Double-sided Arrow
- Middle Figure - Four Circles
- Right Figure - Question Mark
It's also worth noting that the middle figure seems to be on puppet strings and has the word "burning" written underneath him, implying that this is meant to represent John. There are also three instances of a third symbol - one that consists of eight protruding arrows. Two of these surrounding the three figures and one of them can be seen floating above "John's" head.
Around this time, the Pididoip account became active and emailed the players another hidden video on Vincent Adams' YouTube channel - "It worked again! Going to call this one "Staying awake". This one was originally uploaded on February 15th, 2015.

Power went out today so I decided to just go on a little walk. The camera is fucky as usual so the footage of me going by the fire-station and then off into the river bank seems to have completely vanished. Its in my memories still I suppose. Atleast there is the part at the end, There was a man walking behind me with a funny parrot, and I didn’t notice a first but upon looking at the footage here I guess it was trying to say hi to me.

Tyler: "Welp. Power's out. Again. For, like, the fuckin' one millionth time."
Tyler picks up his phone.
Tyler: "Once again, I have no phone… No… electricity. I have nothing. So… I guess I'm gonna go on a walk."
The video cuts to Tyler walking around outside. The video begins corrupting as everything turns green. "mask1iswatching.webm" appears in the top left corner of the screen followed by a disturbing image of someone smiling. The video cuts ahead to Tyler walking through a wooded area.
Tyler: "I should stop by John's house again-"
The video corrupts and cuts ahead.
Tyler: "You know that is actually something I've been thinking about - why do I record these videos…? Then again, why not? It's not like I have anything else more eventful going on in my life-"

Tyler: "-road, or… else- road. Besides, going that way takes me closer to my job. Eugh."
The video cuts ahead once again. Tyler is now approaching a road while struggling through some foliage.
Tyler: "I really should have brought my travel machete with me though, because moments like that are always really annoying."
Tyler reaches the road and sees a truck next to a powerline.
Tyler: "Oh, hey. I think that's actually where, uh… the power problem may lie. Transformer blew-"
The video cuts ahead.
Tyler: "-here's something… I guess, interesting to mention. I don't know why, but super recently in this specific littler area-"
The video begins cutting again.
Tyler: "-lots and lots and lots of cops piling up, which I guess is not too bad, I mean they're not here right now, but there's been a lot of cops piling up in this area. I don't know why. A while back, a, uh, retirement home was going to be built here and right before the unfortunate passing of my grandparents happened, they wanted all of those woods over there, which my grandparents and now I own… They said, 'Well, no, fuck you," because those woods- in my family since before I was born and three time- six times as long as that."
The video begins cutting repeatedly.
Tyler: "-absolutely- we are not- our woods- happened- about a decade ago, they were going to allegedly build a- retirement home here and- just like a retirement home, at best we have that bit of road over there that wasn't there before and, uh, whatever the fuck this is. I never really walk around here, so… What the- oh…"
Tyler comes across some old, discarded furniture.
Tyler: "I'm stupid. Actually, though… If this wasn't so rained on… It's probably- Well, it's not too fucked up… I don't know. ...Ah, I'll probably just leave it here. Fuck it."
Tyler comes across a patch of burnt grass.
Tyler: "I guess people like to, uh… from the looks of it, burn- out here as well. Maybe a little, uh… I don't know."
The video cuts ahead. Tyler has come across a sewer grate on the ground.
Tyler: "Sewage drainers are always interesting to me if only for, uh, my childhood fear of there being water monsters inside them."
Tyler looks at the sewer grate on the ground as the video begins turning green once again. "mask3iswaiting.webm" briefly appears over the footage before the video returns to normal.
Tyler: "The un- unsteady water look - I can feel the childhood Tyler losing his shit right now. 'The water demon is gonna come out, oh.'"
The video cuts ahead. Tyler is now walking near the road.
Tyler: "The road's a lot more busy than it usually is today. Usually we have next to zero activity up and down this road. After all, this is a almost complete- Then again, that new, uh, factory opened- that new factory opened up a couple months ago, so… I don't know, maybe that's finally starting to kick in."
Tyler hears a gunshot sound and turns around.
Tyler: "What the hell was that? ...It was probably leftover fourth of July fireworks. Looks like it's coming from over there, though. Or… sounds like it's coming from over there. Weird. There shouldn't be anybody over there. In July they're closed."
The video cuts ahead. Tyler has found a "For Sale" sign positioned next to a church.
Tyler: "Huh. This isn't too sad because I'm not really religious, I guess. I like to think theres something out there, but I mean… Man, this thing's been here since I was like… an infant. I guess the St. John Divine ((Unintelligible)) Church is for sale. I guess not the only John that's gonna be gone… Yeah… And of course the fucking Lighthouse Ministry, the most annoying motherfucker on the planet. That's not going anywhere. Of course, of course. What a fucking shame. These motherfuckers knock on your door ((Unintelligible)) in the night. Maybe that's who was knocking on my door in my dream. It wasn't, uh, just anybody, it was one of those fuckers. ...Yeah."
The video cuts. Tyler is now examining a "HELP WANTED" sign next to the road. Every time he says the word "Helper", an audio clip from the Postman from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess can be heard.
Tyler: "I should look into that. Fucking Mcdonalds is the most annoying piece of shit ever. I don't know what- I don't know what they mean by 'Helpers', but I mean… I don't know anything about carpenting, or… Yeah, I don't know anything about being a carpenter, but I mean… I don't know what a 'helper' means, but yeah, I could be a good helper. 'Call Jason'... Maybe I'll call Jason. Yeah, don't know what the fuck they mean by 'helper', but I like to think that I help people sometimes when I know them and know how to help them. I could be a good helper. But yeah, if you're ever around here, uh… 'Sixth Street', stay away from it. It's where all the drug dealers are."

As Tyler begins his walk, he considers visiting the remains of John's home. On his way, he passes by a sewage drain. While recording the uneven waters within it, he notes that he was always afraid of water monsters. At this moment, a faint image of the Third Giant briefly overlays the footage.
Tyler continues walking, discussing a bit more about his town. He claims that a Factory had just recently opened up nearby. He also notes that he's been seeing more and more police cars near his home - this is possibly the Lunar Children keeping an eye on him... Concerningly, Tyler hears a gunshot coming from somewhere nearby - presumably in the woods. Unable to determine its source, he continued his walk. In the video's description, Tyler claims that a strange man with a parrot on his shoulder was attempting to greet him near the end of the video. Unfortunately, this was not caught on film.

On July 23rd, 2015, Johnisdead.com underwent another small update. Fakeworld had updated, now featuring a larger landscape. However, this was mostly more empty, barren land.
On July 27th, 2015, the Redirect system on Johnisdead.com updated. The site would now cycle players through many small, blank pages with strange names before landing them on one of the many Redirect Pages listed earlier. These blank, empty pages contained the following:

On July 30th, 2015, John's Skype account became active once again. After attempting to call the players, the account sent a cipher that translated to "PARADISE". This led to the discovery of a new page - "https://johnisdead.com/paradise". This page contained a distorted image of a tropical island and strange, whistle-like audio.
Interestingly, this page would also ask the players to enter a password:
After pouring over their notes, the players remembered something that stood out - the number "6802", which was spoken in reverse in the audio found on "https://johnisdead.com/mislead". The players entered this number into the password box and found that it was indeed the correct answer. Unfortunately, the only reward for their efforts was a taunting message from Tenebris left in the form of "https://johnisdead.com/paradise/tricked", which featured a strange, trippy image titled "mislead.gif" and "FOOLEDYOU.webm". It seems as though Tenebris was basking in his victory over the players...
However, remaining on this page for too long would redirect players to a file titled "enlightenment.txt", which contained some important information...

Tenebris describes a desperate man who he compares to Kafei - a character from Majora's Mask who was tragically separated from his loved one.
Tenebris also mentions The Fourth Giant - Kelbris. He claims that Kelbris held some degree of envy and he wanted to have the moon - presumably Luna.

Tenebris tells the man some sort of "Truth" - a "Truth" that's supposedly required for him to reach Luna.
After this, Tenebris essentially describes what happened to Ben. Ben was drowned and trapped within the same "cage" as him. After this, the "Elegy of Emptiness" was played, summoning the Elegy Statue as the child's "mask" was taken - likely referring to how BEN took Ben's name.

Tenebris once again refers to the importance of the number three, claiming that "three" will be used to get to Luna. He then calls out three individuals who seem to be representative of Power, Wisdom, and Courage respectively.
The players began putting more of the pieces together...
Tenebris is describing the tale of a man who desperately wanted to reach Luna - so much so that he somehow managed to summon Tenebris, trapping him in a cage. Tenebris describes this cage as a "game" - a "game" that he was later freed from after it was given to a "Link". It's painfully apparent that this "cage" is actually the Haunted Majora's Mask Cartridge that contained BEN.
Speaking of BEN, the parallels between him and Tenebris are now impossible to ignore. They are both represented by the Elegy Statue. They are both accompanied by the "Song of Unhealing". They have both stolen the identities of the ascended spirits of others. And now, it's revealed that they were both within the Majora's Mask Cartridge. There is only one logical conclusion - Tenebris is BEN.
Going back to the file above, Tenebris implies that he told this man some sort of "Truth" - supposedly one that would allow him to reach Luna. While it's unknown what exactly Tenebris told this man, it is believed to have led to a child being suffocated and being placed within the same "cage" as Tenebris. This all heavily implies that this child was actually Ben, meaning that Ben's ascended spirit was trapped within the Majora's Mask cartridge with Tenebris. After this, Tenebris took Ben as his new vessel - even going so far as to steal his name, now calling himself "BEN", in all caps.
This all matches up with what was described on Lunarchildren.com - Before using John, Tenebris stole the name of a spirit that he used as his vessel - the "First Eulogy". The "First Eulogy" is Ben.
Tenebris claims that the desperate man also wanted Tenebris's "shepherd mask". The term "shepherd" was previously used on Youshouldnthavedonethat.net to refer to "The Father" - a title that Tenebris had often referred to himself as. Tenebris also is often represented by the "Happy Mask Salesman" - a character that was previously used to represent "The Father" of the Moon Children - Mr. D. Could it be that Mr. D and Tenebris are also one-in-the-same? Regardless, Tenebris has referred to himself as "The True Father" multiple times - a title that the desperate man wanted to take from him.
Tenebris claims that he waited within the Majora's Mask cartridge for quite some time. Eventually, a "Puppet" of his gave it to a "Link" - clearly referring to the Old Man giving the game to Alex at the beginning of the story. Alex "opened the cage" by playing the game and uploading his footage to YouTube, allowing Tenebris to escape onto the internet. Upon being freed, he discovered that the desperate man had somehow succeeded in his mission and was now "The Father" of a new group of followers. However, Tenebris does not honor this title, instead opting to call the desperate man the "Father of Lies".
There's one other person who Tenebris called the "Father of Lies" - Patrem. The desperate man who summoned Tenebris was Patrem. It's possible that Patrem was the one who killed and ascended Ben as well. Could this be how Patrem "first granted "it" power", as he claimed on Within Hubris? Tenebris also goes on to mention how this desperate man hopes to reach Luna by using three individuals - possibly referencing his previous statement from "alwayswatchingyou.wmv" - "He will bring on her decent with the death of three".
To summarize... Tenebris is BEN. He was somehow summoned by Patrem, who was desperate to reach Luna. Ben was ascended and placed within the cartridge with Tenebris, who stole his name and began using him as a vessel - this is when he started going by the name "BEN". Eventually, a puppet of Tenebris's - the Old Man - gave the cartridge to Alex. This allowed Tenebris to be freed, at which point he discovered that Patrem's following had grown quite large.
Tenebris ends his message with the reveal of the three individuals Patrem supposedly hopes to sacrifice - the "Grand Child", or Regiminis, who is representative of Power. The "Burned", or John, who is representative of Wisdom. The "New Link", or Tyler, who is representative of Courage.
Despite all of the revelations above, there were still many questions left unanswered.
- Why was Ben chosen specifically?
- Are Tenebris and Mr. D truly one-in-the-same?
- What is the Old Man's connection with Tenebris?
- What does Kelbris's supposed envy have to do with any of this?
As the players were processing all of this new information, they inadvertently stumbled upon another rabbit hole - a YouTube channel titled "Lostmemory423". This channel shared the same name as one of Drowned's usernames. It was also fairly old, dating back to 2013. This is because it was actually utilized for Remember.exe - a series of games that allowed the players to seemingly interact with Ben.
However, not only did this channel share the same name with a character who was currently active within Johnisdead - it also held some fairly recent uploads as well, implying that it may hold some relevance... Because of this, the players began analyzing the channel's videos.
First up was "void", which was uploaded on August 19th, 2013.

This video seems to be a continuation of the previous one. Drowned implies that SKM met and spoke with "The masks" - presumably referring to the Lunar Chidlren. This conversation seems to be taking place as Drowned was being killed. Given his speech patterns, it's very likely that his murderer was actually Patrem - especially given the recent reveal that Patrem already drowned another child - Ben. Because of the many similarities between the two, many players began speculating that Ben and Drowned weren't just connected - they were the same person. However, there wasn't enough to prove this quite yet.
This conversation also mentioned Diana - a new character who was supposedly waiting for Drowned after his ascension... While nothing is revealed about Diana, it is worth noting that her name matches the "___n_" "maiden" mentioned on Johnisdead.com...
The final video found on the channel was "3", and was uploaded on July 20th, 2015.

By the human way of perception it has only been about a decade since we last spoke, but by my own it has been eons. I see you still have yet to shake the imprint of that children's game from yourself. I would ask you to still thine tongue of my affairs but I see in your current host you can do nothing more than babble, wretched parasite.
However I thank you for your services up to this point, your "fun" has been most useful to my cause. However I suggest you release the deuro soon, as Regiminis is growing impatient.
The posts above confirm much of what the players derived from "enlightenment.txt", as Tenebris refers to Patrem as many of the same names as the "desperate man", including "Kafei", "Salesman", and "Father of Lies". Patrem also confirms that he's spoken to Tenebris in the past - specifically sometime in the mid-2000's.
Interestingly, Patrem claims that "that children's game" has imprinted upon Tenebris. This might suggest that the reason why Tenebris uses so much Majora's Mask-related imagery and terminology is due to how long he spent within the Majora's Mask cartridge.
Patrem implies that Tenebris can do little more than talk right now - something he implies is due to the fact that he's using John as a vessel. As such, he suggests that Tenebris hand over John's spirit soon because Regiminis is growing impatient, implying that he's still seeking John's spirit.

That boy is beyond even my own reach at this moment, so I doubt in your current state you will be taking your "toy" back anytime soon. I do find it amusing how quickly you can still spread yourself. Now I must bid you farewell, talking to two of yourself is quite a headache and I have much to prepare for the coming of the second Undecim Nocte.
Tenebris claims he'll release John's spirit if he can regain his "old toy". When ask which "toy" he's referring to, Tenebris begins speaking through another account - one that's named "BEN". Basically, if Patrem can return Ben's spirit to Tenebris, he'll give them John's spirit.
Tenebris also reveals a new website - Whatisben.com. The existence of this site was actually hinted at back in 2010 on Youshouldnthavedonethat.net. However, it was completely empty at the time. Now, Tenebris claims that he'll use it to house Ben's spirit when he finally gets him back.
Upon checking Whatisben.com, the players discovered a disturbing image of the Elegy Statue titled "it.gif" and the message "we will be here soon. wait here.".
However, players were still somewhat concerned about what exactly Tenebris meant by "changing the rules". One of the ciphers he posted translated to "/whatdidido", which led players to a new page on Johnisdead.com. "https://johnisdead.com/whatdidido", which contained the image "it.jpg" and the message "take".
Shortly after this, players discovered another new page - "https://johnisdead.com/whatdidido/take". This page contained the following ominous message:

"Do you wonder what I have done?"
The two files on this page revealed how exactly Tenebris had changed the rules of the game - "ocarinagone.gif" and "take.webm".
