The story so far...
In the previous section, the players explored a revived Lunarchildren.com. Strangely, the site now seemed to be an archive of an older version of Lunarchildren.com - complete with a retro design. While most of the site conveyed the same general understanding of Lunar Children terminology and lore, some things were a bit different.
Several pages mentioned someone named "Father Alphonse" - an Overseer who predated Vincent and conceived of a theory known as "The Holy Dyad" - the belief that light and dark naturally exist in equals to balance one-another out. The site also mentioned an overseer of The Spire's library named "Jennifer" - possibly referencing either Jinn or Kuu from the Lunar Children Forums. Additionally, the site in general seemed to present the cult's teachings in a far more inviting way. For example, the page for "Deviums" implied that they were in a pleasant state of ecstasy upon their ascension - an obvious lie, considering all of the tormented, trapped Deviums that the players have witnessed up to this point.
Other changes included the name "Sub-Parallelos" being renamed to the "Nullspace" and proper names being given for "The Legend" and the ritual to awaken the giants - "The Secrets and the Thurses" and the "Ceremony of the Thurses Quintessence" respectively. The site also revealed the fact that both Patrem and Tenebris are Finitors - powerful ascended beings who can travel through time. Additionally, the page for the "Father" was rather lofty, implying that the role of "Father" is a sort of universal ruler and that anyone who has ever hold any sort of authoritative role such as "king" has been blessed by Patrem. It also likens the "Father" to a sort of "Master of Time" and claims that part of his duty is to moderate Luna so that she does not destroy all of reality.
The site was also somewhat corrupted, allowing the players to discover several hidden pages. Some of these pages referenced "The Watcher", connecting him to the letters "HCJ" and implying that he was working under Mat... Other pages made repeat references to the number three, implying that there is "Another" and "More than you know" - as well as hinting towards the existence of an alternate version of Kevin - supposedly the "FIRST" version of Kevin. However, details surrounding this were very hazy and not much could be discerned about this supposed alternate Kevin quite yet - only that he potentially possessed a skeletal appearance.
Meanwhile, Greth suddenly returned and resumed uploading and streaming Greth Vlogs as though nothing had happened... It seems that BUP - as well as Patrem - are able to control him at will. It's likely thanks to BUP's meddling that he's unable to recall any of the strange, paranormal occurrences in his life. From Greth's perspective, he simply moved away and fell out of contact with Tyler - no possession or Parallelos chases at all.
Unaware of BUP and Patrem's presence within him, Greth is currently working on a record label on Bandcamp.com - one that's ominously named "Astral Observatory". He claims that this name came to him in a dream about a year ago. While Greth works on these albums, it's implied that BUP is also partially responsible for them as well... Additionally, another incarnation of Greth simply called "Researcher Greth" seems to hold some connection to these albums as well. Namely, Researcher Greth supposedly works at some sort of group or organization that is being sent these albums... How exactly Researcher Greth ties into all of this is unknown - it's possible that he's simply another alternate version of Greth from an unknown timeline that BUP holds some control over.
Eventually, BUP decides to play another game with the players - one that picks up where the Dungeons & Dragons game ended off. This "game" was the release of a mysterious album on Greth's record label - "Ascended E-Girl". It quickly became clear that this wasn't a normal album - it was actually entirely based around Yuukichan and the Astral Observatory in general. Interestingly, the album also contained several references to the player Wolfcat - namely through the presence of his infamous "Dream Emoji", his song "Out of my League", and the "Poe in a Bottle" that was previously used to represent him in the Dungeons & Dragons game.
Around this same time, Yuukichan contacted the players on Discord. Here, she claimed that she was still trapped within Astralobservatory.net - though presumably not for much longer... Yuukichan proceeded to post Wolfcat's "Poe in a Bottle" once again before claiming that the players needed to rescue both her and a mysterious individual referred to as "AW" from some sort of dungeon... Closer inspection of the "Ascended E-Girl" album page revealed what exactly this dungeon was - a pre-loaded "Link's Awakening" dungeon on an Amiibo.
It seems that Yuukichan's spirit - as well as the spirit of this mysterious "AW" - were now within an Amiibo, just as Munnin had planned back during the Dungeons & Dragons game. Now, all the players had to do was retrieve the physical version of "Ascended E-Girl" and the Amiibo that came with it, load the custom dungeon from the Amiibo into "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening", and complete it. Doing this would finally free both Yuukichan and "AW".
This album also contained other secrets as well - one of them being the secret key-phrase "SKELETONKEY". This was supposedly one of the two keys that the players needed to access the locked Subspace on Astralobservatory.net. With Yuukichan's spirit finally removed from the site and one key down, it seemed that the players were closer than ever to reaching their goal - all they needed to do now was wait for contact from their allies. However, with TheLaw supposedly compromised and BUP's influence growing, a sense of urgency was in the air...

A few days prior on April 14th, 2020, Erika and the player nfreak held a casual conversation.
I cant believe kelbris is really "The father" still honestly.
Basically the same thing happened in jid at a point lol
i know! some people I've made friends with are thinking
"...are they seriously doing the same thing jid did?!"
the longer I look at the two things the more parallels I start to see and then I wonder if I am just crazy or something XD
Apparently spooki statue boi also became this amalgamation of souls in jid. Heck I think they even both feature subtle drug themes
I was watching one of the first silentdork episodes a while ago and noticed they were talking about lsd and jad has his dmt stuff
I think jad said something about the forehead tingling (something that I think is often associated with the third eye)
and one of the characters has a eye of horus (also a third eye thingy) but maybe I am scrying too deeply XD
Erika points out several similarities between Johnisdead and Alex Hall's continuation of Ben Drowned - Awakening:
- The Father - Kelbris holds this title.
- Amalgamation - BEN contains multiple souls within himself.
- Drug Mentions - Jacob mentions LSD and Alex Hall mentioned LSD.
- Third Eye - Vincent's "Eye of Horus" avatar and Alex's forehead tingling.
These are probably all simply coincidences, but as mentioned before, Erika perceives synchronicities like this to be a sort of magic. Speaking of which, Erika proceeds to comment on this:
I wonder if jad would ever consider doing another ryukaki style thing at any point if their work keeps synergizing in weird ways like this?
It would not shock me if they had some kind of friendly creators rivalry. Jad brought back "Tyler" just to go and have him kill himself
even though I know they are not the same Tyler it really hurt to think about and I might have cried just a little bit as a result ^^;
well, Tyler was always a part of the ARG, remember.
He was the "friend" of Jadusable.
God personally for me thats the craziest part about jid.

I wonder if that means Tyler is BEN or maybe spiritually merged with ben for some reason

Erika mentions a recent event that occurred in Awakening - the sudden return and immediate death of Tyler in Jadusable's ARG. She ponders if Jadusable wrote his version of Tyler in this way as a sort of "friendly rivalry" between the two ARG's. As a reminder, "Tyler" was indeed a character who originally appeared in Jadusable's ARG as Alex's friend. Erika finds this fascinating because Tyler's real name is Tyler. She feels as though this is a perfect example of synchronicity - as though Tyler were born to play this role and create this story.
Additionally, Erika and nfreak ponder the possibility of Tyler and BEN having some connection - if not being one in the same.
Afterwards, Erika continued examining Awakening and Johnisdead, coming to some rather interesting conclusions:

"I think Jad did a puzzle once involving hidden spiritual connections between a random story on the internet and a thing happening in Youshouldnthavedonethat. The newspaper death is a story within the story of someone who thematically connected to Ben drowning through their own death. Somewhere within this was the ascension of that "character" to a higher status for the next story. I feel like each of Jad's stories do this - they have characters that come back again each arc but in different forms, with Jad always consistently having a sort of "self-insert" that reincarnates in another form."
Erika brings up the possibility of the characters within Jad's stories dying and reincarnating into higher statuses in each arc. An example of this would be Jadusable's own potential self-inserts - that being Alex "The Student" in Arc 1 becoming Alex "The Link Missing" in Arc2 and finally Abel in Arc 3. This could also potentially be seen within the newspaper clipping sent out in 2011 that covered the death of someone in the "Lawman Family".
However, this is all just speculation from Erika - the specifics of how these characters currently operate in Jadusable's "Awakening" isn't too vital to Johnisdead. Erika's main point seems to be that the prospect of characters ascending through roles to different stories is an interesting one.
On April 16th, 2020, the players turned their attention back towards Yuukichan - specifically the strange "Poe in a Bottle" item she posted that often seems to be associated with the player Wolfcat...
Can Link release a Poe from a bottle without drinking it or selling it?
I do. You give it back to the salesman.
Despite Wolfcat's cryptic response, the mystery of the "Poe in the Bottle" remained... Later that night, the IIIII account became active and posted an image titled "Father_of_lies.png".
This was a distorted screenshot of Within Hubris - specifically of some PM's sent by Patrem to the player Eve back in 2015. Sadly, these didn't seem to reveal any new information.
Later on, the player Jeffory made a strange observation.

However, Jeffory's observation was true - Wolfcat's avatar had indeed grown darker...
Around this same time, the IIIII account cryptically posted the following:

"Masters become players. Players become masters."
On April 17th, 2020, the IIIII account's cryptic activity continued as it suddenly brought attention to an old message posted back in 2018. This message was actually posted by Tyler himself - albeit in what was previously an out-of-character conversation. During this conversation, players speculated that Doug and Daniel were originally going to be one-in-the-same. Tyler responded as follows:
I will take this moment to say - In Dawn's version of the canon, no, I doubt he would think Doug is Daniel because he would not have even known about a character named Daniel as we barely had many in depth discussions on canon and us working together was a sometimes-distant sometimes-close sort of deal.
I also doubt he planned on Doug being one of The Four Giants in my plot, which was a thing I did in order to try and keep a consistency between his arc and mine after his abrupt exit.
With that in mind, Dawn's of course gonna say no because IIhIIIiIsIIdIIrIIeIaIImIIIIIsIpIIIhIIIeIIrIIIeIIIIiIsIIIIsIepperate from this.
However, this is not exactly a Johnisdead canon answer. That is all.
Here, Tyler's out-of-character response from 2018 clarifies some questions surrounding Doug and Daniel - as well as some confusion that stemmed from the fact that Dawn was one of the GM's of the YSHDT Arc. Tyler claims that his working relationship with Dawn as a GM was sometimes distant and that they mainly worked on their own separate things. As such, the fact that Doug ended up being one of The Four Giants likely wasn't Dawn's original plan for the character - it's something that Tyler came up with.
Interestingly, part of this message was recently edited - presumably by the IIIII account itself. Here, many I's have been added to the phrase "His dream sphere is separate." This was given as an explanation as to why Dawn's vision of Doug is separate from Tyler's vision of Doug. To rephrase this with the non-corrupted words: "Dawn didn't plan on Doug being one of The Four Giants because his dream sphere is separate from this."
This gives us a bit more context on what exactly a "Dream Sphere" consists of. It may also suggest that "Dream Spheres" hold some meta-related connotations. Additionally, the same character in different "Dream Spheres" may be envisioned differently depending on whose "Dream Sphere" they're within - not too unlike the same characters within the Dungeons & Dragons "Dream Bubbles" having different backstories and contexts... That being said, this is all purely conjecture on what could simply be symbolism from the IIIII account - the true definition and portrayal of a "Dream Sphere" has yet to be seen.
Coincidentally, shortly after this, the players discovered that the background image of Doug's old blog, Letchasethemouse, had changed:

On April 19th, 2020, the Rune Entity became active once again and posted the following:

"It does not create. It takes. Every point of view counts. 4/19/15. As layers transition my magics spread thin. My grip on the runes doth weaken."
This message was accompanied by several odd changes in the Internet Detectives Discord server. These included:
- The "#johnisdead" text-channel is renamed to "tyler was asleep".
- The "#johnisdead" text-channel's header changed to "It's right next to you.".
- The "#johnisdead" text-channel is renamed to "IIII".

The "#jadisawake" text-channel is renamed to "III".
- The server's banner briefly changed to the Parallelos symbol but with three lines instead of two.
The date posted by the Rune Entity was the same date that the players summoned Patrem back in 2015 via The Ocarina. Upon investigating Within Hubris, the players were surprised to see that Patrem was indeed active once again:

Patrem had indeed finally returned to Within Hubris - though he didn't seem to be nearly as condescending this time around. This was strange, as Patrem was still currently within Greth as far as the players knew... Unfortunately, his posts were encrypted with heavy ciphers, making communication difficult.
Meanwhile, back on Discord, another character finally made their return - GHOSTBABEL, who seemed to have finally regained their account from BUP.

As a reminder, GHOSTBABEL briefly revealed what this plan was several months prior in secret:

GHOSTBABEL seems to imply that they're currently using the Helper's Hat given to them by the players back in 2019 to contact them. They also once again mention their mysterious unnamed group of allies - a collective that, while GHOSTBABEL claims is far more efficient than the players, still requires the players' and their powers to proceed.

This could be referencing YSHDT.net's return back in 2016, but it's difficult to discern what exactly Patrem's trying to say...

GHOSTBABEL reveals some important information about BUP. However, the wording here is a bit confusing given the existence of multiple different timelines and titles. Let's break it down...
BUP is a malicious version of Greth who originated from a third timeline. BUP supposedly went by the alias "Nocta" and is responsible for creating the Astral Observatory himself. However, BUP is not the Nocta that the players all met on Astralobservatory.net - "Kevin Hendricks".
At some point, the Nocta that the players are all familiar with - "Kevin Hendricks" - took possession of BUP's website and username. "Kevin Hendricks" began calling himself Nocta and transformed the site into what the players see it as today.
So, to summarize:
- BUP: The original creator of the Astral Observatory and the person who first called himself Nocta. The players first met him on Discord.
- Kevin Hendricks: Someone who later took the Astral Observatory from BUP and began calling himself Nocta afterwards. The players first met him on Astralobservatory.net.
The discussion continued into the early hours of April 20th, 2020, as players continued observing Patrem on Within Hubris.

The felling of the golden child of helios is not of my doing
In response to the "Sonata of Awakening", Patrem claims that both he and Tyler have already "awakened" - implying once again that he requires "Epona's Song". When asked why the players should help him, Patrem claims that he is an "Asset of the Giver" and was not responsible for the "Felling of the golden child of Helios". What all this means is still unclear, though it's worth noting once again that "Helios" is a prominent god of the sun.
However, above all else, one of the jumbled words in this post is "Wisdom", implying that that's the main thing that Patrem can currently offer the players. After further deliberation, the players eventually decided that the risk was indeed worth the reward. Patrem didn't seem nearly as powerful as he once was - nor did he seem as malicious... Helping him stabilize on Within Hubris probably wouldn't change that too drastically.

This seems to be referencing a news article that he posted shortly afterwards that covered a statue of the goddess Diana in a watery canal. However, this could hold some other significance as well, as "water" and "watery substances" seem to be mentioned rather frequently.

As before, some of you of whom I shall not count are not as you seem.
This seems to be a reference to one of Patrem's earlier messages from 2015 - "Three of you are not as you seem." This was a hint that the players Tyler, John, and Jacob actually held canon significance. This seems to be hinting that there are currently some players amongst the Internet Detectives who are actually canon...
There are 9 squares that I can see and the top-most center is where which those who became as gods said they felt the sensation. When they spoke of that eye-opening experience before the next ascent - The glorious passing of that old mind into the new one is all self-contained, and what we now witness is the dance of a giant and the young shining link - the David that should grow to become as the new father and provider as so brought forth by the old gods of the passing of the torches, and so too shall then this fire be passed, but not before the confronting of the dark.
This message is quite lengthy. It starts off with a cryptic mention of "Nine Squares", which is possibly a reference to the "Nine Red Squares" found in the game Silent Hill 2. Esoterically, what is an ORCHARD?
Patrem asks the players what the esoteric meaning of an Orchard could be. This is likely going off of his previous mention of Orchards through his "PARDES" comment. It's likely that the player Xenquility's response is correct - The Orchard is presumably connected to an old Hebrew myth regarding four rabbis - three of whom died. Some obvious parallels to Johnisdead can be drawn here - namely in the numbers at play.
Find the GIRL after you find the mage Synchron. He is casting at the altar in the Fourth World, and he will speak unto ye through the symbols of his choosing with the connections of his own design. These messages are fairly important, as Patrem is seemingly outlining the path forward. He says that the players will have to find a mage named Synchron. Given the fact that this individual is at an altar in the "Fourth World" and uses "symbols", it's likely that this is actually the name of the Rune Entity. After meeting Synchron, the players will find a girl - though Patrem does not divulge the identity of this girl.
Patrem also claims that Synchron is "at the top of the city", though what city this is referring to is unknown. This seems to be a reference to one of Rosa's fortunes. Regardless, he does not confirm whether or not Tyler and Synchron are related - though this does seem to be implied considering the fact that Synchron as the Rune Entity previously claimed that he was "Another Tyler". Instead, Patrem claims that Synchron wishes to give Tyler some sort of spear - a spear that could also potentially be viewed as a sword - though this could simply be referencing Tyler's role as "Link", who usually wielded a sword.

What three runes give the secret to the told-of "Kalki" link to the salvation? Whom is the receiver of the wisdom of the three to gain the four treasures that grant access to the Grail - the Tower that opens to the tree where for which the hero hangs to defeat the dark one? The Dark one, who comes from the waters and can solidify only on stealing of you the self, of which I, too, may even lose in this bitter end. But should it be the end of ends? Nay!
This message is rather complex. Patrem starts off by mentioned three different runes that are supposedly told to the "Kalki Link". Kalki is likely referencing the final form of the Hindu god Vishu, so the term here is likely being used to refer to someone's final ascended or enlightened self. Given the presence of "Link", it's possible that "Kalki Link" is referencing some final ascended version of Tyler. Someone will receive these three runes and also obtain four different treasures. Doing this will grant them access to "The Grail" - possibly referencing "The Holy Grail".
Patrem then mentions some sort of Tower that opens up to a tree - one from which the "hero" hangs to defeat "the dark one" - likely referencing Tyler and Tenebris respectively. Patrem implies that Tenebris comes from "The Waters" and can only present himself by stealing from others - not too unlike how he used John and Ben in the past as conduits.

This message seems to be referencing Synchron. The "Chair of the Fourth" could possibly be the "Speaker's Chair", which Synchron said he was previously sitting in during the video "ᛇᛇᛇᛇ". Supposedly, Synchron's room contains an altar - possibly the same altar and runecasting board we've seen in recent videos. Interestingly, Patrem claims that The Machine itself also connects to this room. He also says that Synchron was previously a worshipper of the "Ogdoad" - likely referencing the gnostic concept for a state of transcended consciousness or awakening. The Orchard of Sod, which I was made the holder of, but not the true writer - the adder, the giver of wisdom by which all who arrive in the tale would be receivers and spread the sickness is "welldone". The book, that is now in a cover not of its original design, finds its home still in the hearts of those who follow him in truth. The wayward airs by which the pages shall turn shall decide the final fate of the story, "Should you send the hero to ask the Fisher King the question".
Patrem once again refers to this mysterious "book", likening it to the "Orchard of Sod". This is likely once again referencing the esoteric Hebrew myth of the Orchard, as "Sod" is representative of a secret, esoteric understanding. While this is still a bit unclear, Patrem's next sentence adds some context - Patrem himself was the holder of this book and even added to it himself, though he did not originally create it. This sounds very similar to the Libro Lunarus.
Patrem seems to imply that this book is somehow related to destiny itself, claiming that the the way by which its pages turn will decide the "final fate of the story". He then references the tale of the "Fisher King" - a story in which the hero meets an old man who is secretly a king and the final guardian of the Holy Grail.

That was quite a lot. This conversation with Patrem revealed a ton of important information. However, it was also very confusing, as most of his messages were laced in esoteric references, strange terminology, and symbolism. In an attempt to summarize everything from above...
Summary:
It's a bit of a mystery how exactly Patrem is chatting with the players right now. For all intents and purposes, he should still be trapped within Greth's body... Regardless, the instance of Patrem speaking here on Within Hubris is far less malicious and condescending. Instead, this Patrem far more humble - albeit more cryptic as well... He claims that at some point after 2016, he fell back into the Parallelos.
Patrem supposedly began travelling "The Paths" in the Parallelos - presumably the same ones that Tyler will have to walk. Here, he experienced many deaths and resurrections. Eventually, he met the Rune Entity, whose real name is revealed to be Synchron. As witnessed through the IIIII account on Discord, Synchron seems to have a deep esoteric and somewhat meta understanding of the world. According to Patrem, Synchron also communes with an entity called "The Great Author" - a god-like being above Luna that Patrem believes is akin to "The Absolute".
Patrem alludes to "The Machine" - possibly the same "Machine" that Tyler himself is trapped within. It's likely that Patrem himself is still within this "Machine", though its true nature is still unknown. Patrem also mentions "The Book", which seemingly relates to both the Libro Lunarus and the concept of fate itself. Patrem claims that he himself is now beyond the confines of this "Book" and is presumably now still in the Parallelos - though he can still peer into and witness the events taking place in the Overworld.

Fourth World: Patrem's understanding of the "Fourth World" initially lined up with that of the players' - a supposed "holy realm" in the Parallelos where Luna dwelled. However, he now seems to be implying that this realm isn't as untouched as initially thought, claiming that Synchron himself may hold some influence over it and occasionally enters into it. Additionally, he says that the realm of "The Great Author" extends beyond even the "Fourth World".
Nine Squares: A strange symbol that Patrem repeatedly refers to. This is presumably a reference to the "Nine Red Squares" from the game Silent Hill 2. These Nine Squares are presumably laid out in a three-by-three pattern, with the top-most center square representing the "Absolute Mind", where a strange sensation is often felt by individuals who ascend to godhood - not too unlike the opening of the third eye.
The Orchard: This was the former headquarters of the Moon Children. However, it seems as though Patrem is also referencing the esoteric concept of "The Orchard" as well - also known as the "PARDES". It seems to be referencing both an object and a location, as Patrem claims he was previously contained within it and that it is currently moving through "The Waters". IsocelesAssassin reveals more details about the plan. The previously mentioned "bomb plans" that the players will have to post on Astralobservatory.net is actually a special "Data Bomb" that was created by IsocelesAssassin's secretive allies - individuals who have still yet to be properly introduced. Once posted on Astralobservatory.net, this Data Bomb will supposedly weaken Nocta's security and even corrupt the site somewhat, allowing the players to enter the Subspace - once they're provided the additional login key by GHOSTBABEL, that is.
Once the players are inside the Subspace, they'll have an opportunity to finally re-enter Johnisdead.com, which has been locked for nearly an entire year at this point. This is possible because Astralobservatory.net and Johnisdead.com are connected somehow. This was implied to be the case earlier on with the various back-and-forth links between the two sites and the suspicious "DDOS" attack that supposedly stole Astral Observatory's bandwidth - at least according to Nocta...

GHOSTBABEL proceeded to contact one of IsocelesAssassin's mysterious allies - presumably by using Helper's Hat. This allowed one of these unknown allies to begin speaking through GHOSTBABEL's account:

It seems that the Data Bomb specifically needs to be posted in "The Truth" board, explaining why it was so vital that the players gained Nocta's trust... Thankfully, the player ARGdov still had access to this board.
However, as GHOSTBABEL was being sent the Data Bomb, it seemed that something was wrong...

Wolfcat's avatar continued to deteriorate until it fully transformed into the split-eared entity that was chasing after Yuukichan - the same shadowy entity present in the Dungeons & Dragons game - the creature that the players had previously been convinced was a non-canon gamejack - Pumpkinhead. It seems that Pumpkinhead had somehow taken control of Wolfcat's account yet again - or perhaps he always had control over it. Regardless, Pumpkinhead was now in possession of the Data Bomb.
During the confusion, another text-channel in the Safehaven Discord server suddenly became visible - a text-channel that contained messages dating back to October of 2019 - before the Pumpkinhead Gamejack began. Here, the players found a variety of messages from Wolfcat himself. Strangely, this version of Wolfcat typed these messages out using different variants of his infamous "Dream Emoji" - the same emoji that's recently been associated with the mysterious "AW" who's currently with Yuukichan...
These messages and dates give us a bit more insight as to what exactly was going on over the past year:

Strangely, Wolfcat seemed to be tallying numbers. The count was at "40" on October 2nd, and "66" on October 28th, suggesting that these numbers actually represented days. On October 2nd, Wolfcat claims that it had been 40 days since he met someone - presumably Yuukichan herself, given his later messages. It had also been 40 days since "HE" entered. As for who this "HE" is, we need to go back to the date in question - 40 days before October 2nd on August 23rd.
August 23rd was near the beginning of this arc. It was during the midst of the players' attempt to rescue Moonman from Astralobservatory.net. On this day, the players reverted the website from its glitched state back to normal. However, GHOSTBABEL warned that doing this would potentially allow a dangerous entity to enter our realm. Moonman himself witnessed this entity and later described it as "orange". Additionally, Yuukichan later claimed that this same entity was currently watching the players. She described it as being akin to a jack-o-lantern and even shared an image of it - the same image that Wolfcat was currently using as his avatar.
This was all suggesting that the entity that entered on August 23rd was indeed Pumpkinhead. It also suggests that ever since August 23rd, Wolfcat has been trapped somewhere, implying that Pumpkinhead may have held control over his account on Discord and was simply pretending to be him ever since that date... This is supported by Wolfcat's frantic attempts to warn Yuukichan that the individual using his account was not him - specifically on October 29th, which was one of the dates when Yuukichan was chatting with the players in the Discord server's other text-channel.

October 30th was the date that the Pumpkinhead Gamejack began. Wolfcat seemed confused as to why Pumpkinhead would suddenly openly reveal himself to the players. However, he then claims that this was some sort of "Faux attack to waver suspicion" and that Pumpkinhead had "Made a deal with the trickster".
"The Trickster" is likely referring to Tenebris, as he's previously been called this in the past. This implies that Pumpkinhead and Tenebris were working together. This isn't too unlikely, considering the fact that the Pumpkinhead Gamejack came to an end when Tenebris, pretending to be an out-of-character Tyler, denounced Pumpkinhead's canonicity - shortly before the upload of "Start Life"
This implies that Pumpkinhead's plan was as follows:
- August 23rd - Take control of Wolfcat's account.
- October 30th - Initiate the "Pumpkinhead Gamejack".
- November 9th - Have Tenebris claim that he was non-canon.
- November 10th - Rejoin the Internet Detectives while pretending to be Wolfcat.
This successfully allowed Pumpkinhead to throw suspicion off of himself and continue pretending to be the player Wolfcat.
Notice: This implies that the Pumpkinhead Gamejack was indeed a canon event - it was a ploy orchestrated by Pumpkinhead to throw suspicion off of himself when he was inevitably declared "non-canon" by Tenebris, who was pretending to be an out-of-character Tyler at the time. However, most of the lore "revealed" during the Pumpkinhead Gamejack is still false - as is the "lore" presented by the players Jos and Circlehunter when they partook in it.
For example, "Yugi" still is not a malicious cannibal and the player Circlehunter was never possessed or in any sort of danger. This "lore" was just added in by Pumpkinhead to add more credence to the "gamejack" narrative.

So that's how it is.

The chat log suddenly jumps ahead to earlier this month - April of 2020 - specifically around the same time that the "Ascended E-Girl" album released. Here, Pumpkinhead can be seen panicking and questioning "WHERE DID HE GO?", implying that Wolfcat's spirit had disappeared. Supposedly, this was due to "That fool" interfering...
Given all of the details we've learned from these logs - as well as the coincidental timing of the release of "Ascended E-Girl", we can safely infer the following: Wolfcat's spirit is currently within the Amiibo Dungeon with Yuukichan. We've established that the "Poe in a Bottle" item represents Wolfcat's trapped soul, as Pumpkinhead was seen trapping him with it during these logs and it was also used to represent Wolfcat in the Dungeons & Dragons game. Additionally, just before Yuukichan departed into the Amiibo Dungeon, she posted this same "Poe in a Bottle" item, which was also present on the "Ascended E-Girl" cover.
Given all this, we can also assume that "AW" refers to Wolfcat, as Yuukichan implied that both she and this "AW" individual were trapped within the Amiibo Dungeon. Additionally, the image of the "Poe in a Bottle" was also titled "AW.gif" - directly tying this alias to Wolfcat. One of the "Ascended E-Girl" tracks that was tied to "AW" was titled "Astral Dream". This could imply that "AW" actually stands for "Astral Wolf", which would imply that the version of Wolfcat who Pumpkinhead has been keeping trapped - the same version of Wolfcat who is now within the Amiibo Dungeon - is actually the Astral Timeline version of Wolfcat.
This would explain how he supposedly only first met Yuukichan in August of 2019, while the Wolfcat from the Prime Timeline met her back in 2018 alongside the other players. Additionally, the aforementioned "fool" who interfered and caused all of this could be referring to BUP himself, as he's the one responsible for releasing the "Ascended E-Girl" album.
So, to summarize...
Summary: The "AW" mentioned recently likely stands for "Astral Wolf" - the Astral Timeline counterpart of the player Wolfcat. On August 23rd, 2019, the players allowed Pumpkinhead to enter this realm when they restored Astralobservatory.net - this was the orange entity spotted by Moonman and the lurking entity later mentioned by Yuukichan. On this same date, Astral Wolf and Yuukichan's spirits met one another - though the context surrounding this is still unclear.
After Pumpkinhead entered into this realm, he started impersonating Wolfcat. This likely explains "Wolfcat's" strange behavior around this time - including the odd locked blog posts seen on Meatouchers.com and him using the Ocarina to summon a hurricane. The players eventually started to become suspicious of Pumpkinhead's presence - especially after Yuukichan began delivering her warnings. To avert their suspicions, Pumpkinhead concocted a plan with Tenebris.
Pumpkinhead's plan was the "Pumpkinhead Gamejack" - the ultimate goal of which was to have Tenebris pretend to be an out-of-character Tyler and denounce Pumpkinhead's canonicity. The plan was a success, as players' suspicions of Pumpkinhead were dropped afterwards. During the Pumpkinhead Gamejack, Pumpkinhead trapped Astral Wolf's spirit inside a bottle using the "Poe in a Bottle" item - something that was later referenced in the Dungeons & Dragons game.
We've now caught back up with the present. Unfortunately, the players didn't have much time to process all of this information as the Safehaven Discord server was suddenly deleted by Pumpkinhead, severing the players' contact with their allies.
Shortly afterwards, a video was uploaded to Silentdork - "SIEGUNSERE", which roughly translates to "OUR VICTORY".
