The story so far...
In the previous section, the player Wolfcat was seemingly possessed by Pumpkinhead - a malicious entity that the players were warned about by Yuukichan and Moonman. During the week that followed, the players Jos and Circlehunter both seemingly fell victim to Pumpkinhead. Jos was supposedly being possessed by Yugi, who he claimed was his evil counterpart from the Astral Timeline. Disturbingly, Yugi seemed to be devouring the souls and corpses of the Astral Internet Detectives in the hopes of attaining a more powerful ascension...
However, as Undecim Nocte 2019 drew near, Wolfcat was suddenly removed from the Internet Detectives Discord server. In a shocking turn of events, Tyler began speaking through the IIIII account to give a rare out-of-character announcement. Tyler revealed that everything involving Wolfcat, Jos, and Circlehunter was all non-canon. In an event that would later become known as the "Pumpkinhead Gamejack", Wolfcat had gone against the wishes of the ARG's GM's and took on the role of Pumpkinhead himself, writing fabricated lore for both Yugi and Pumpkinhead. This wasn't too difficult because Pumpkinhead was his original creation from a separate Minecraft ARG. Additionally, the players had already suspected him of being possessed by Pumpkinhead in the days leading up to the gamejack.
Regardless, even though there were originally plans to incorporate Pumpkinhead into the canon of Johnisdead - as hinted at by Yuukichan and Moonman's references to him - everything that transpired within the Pumpkinhead Gamejack itself was a complete fabrication by Wolfcat. This meant that he was supposedly never possessed, Yugi was NOT a malicious cannibal, and the player Circlehunter was completely fine. After giving an apology and making up with the GM's, Wolfcat rejoined the Internet Detectives as yet another normal player.
While all of the above was taking place, a few ACTUAL canon updates occurred. First, the Rune Entity posted a video that seemed to depict a distorted rune-casting board. Also, the players continued chatting with Greth from 2016. Here, it was confirmed that he indeed travelled to the pond discovered via the coordinates gained from Youshouldnthavedonethat.net - the same pond that's within close proximity to the fishery. However, what exactly transpired there is never elaborated on. Interestingly, GHOSTBABEL also revealed that they now held some control over the "M" YouTube channel - no doubt due to their newfound possession of the Prime Timeline's Helper's Hat,
Additionally, a new user joined the Internet Detectives - a Tyler fangirl named Erika who had supposedly created some sort of tribute video... Unfortunately, she joined during the middle of Tyler's out-of-character announcement. During this announcement, Tyler was uncharacteristically rude and irate. While many players brushed this off as him being understandably upset at Wolfcat's gamejack, Erika was unfortunately caught up in the crossfire, receiving many unfair insults from Tyler. Despite this, she remained active in the Internet Detectives Discord server as the players prepared for the upcoming Undecim Nocte 2019.

Story
On November 10th, 2019, the players regrouped after the chaotic events of the Pumpkinhead Gamejack and began preparing for tomorrow - Undecim Nocte 2019
Notice: As a final reminder - the lore revealed within the Pumpkinhead Gamejack is not canon. The player Jos was never possessed by "Yugi", Yugi is not a malicious cannibal, and the player Circlehunter was never in any danger! According to a presumably out-of-character announcement from Tyler, this was all a fabrication from Wolfcat.
Later that night, Erika continued chatting with the players. Though she claims she was an avid fan of Tyler and Silentdork, many aspects of the Johnisdead ARG still seemed a bit unfamiliar to her. Unfortunately, she seems quite unfamiliar with Discord as well as she's quickly taken aback by one of the server's automated shitpost bots:

Summary
- Tyler sits in his room and conducts some sort of test with the video - presumably testing out YouTube's streaming feature.
- Tyler addresses someone who is supposedly active within the video's unarchived livechat.
This video seemed to have been a brief test that Tyler conducted just before hosting the "First live stream: general talk" livestream. While its contents were not all that interesting, the fact that Erika possessed a previously unarchived Silentdork upload certainly made her fellow players start paying more attention to her.

It seems as though the player Scrublord received an odd message from Tyler a few months ago - or at the very least, the IIIII account. This wasn't too unusual - a few chapters prior, the IIIII account was sending cryptic messages to various players on Discord. However, this message in particular seems to be of vital importance as it supposedly reveals how to "rekt Kevin". After some probing from Erika, the player Scrublord shared IIIII's entire message:

In this message, the IIIII account - possibly either the Rune Entity or somehow even Tyler himself - claims that his love for the players and his friends is the "magic that can break this curse". He also alludes to some sort of darkness that everyone's been fighting that will eventually come to an end - possibly referring to Tenebris. He also unveils part of a "secret code" that supposedly has the power to defeat Regiminis. Unfortunately, he's only able to reveal part of it - "oh shit i-".

Regardless, GHOSTBABEL mentions some "gift" that they gave the players - likely referring to the video of Greth that they uploaded to the "M" YouTube channel using Helper's Hat.
As 11:11 PM came and went, Erika once again attempted to reach out to Tyler:

As hinted at by Tyler on Discord, this video seems to be an official announcement marking the end of the ARG. However, it didn't take long for players to notice several oddities regarding this supposed "out-of-character" upload... First, the music choice is quite odd as it's the same exact song that Wolfcat used for his "Pumpkinpology" video - "The End" by My Chemical Romance. Secondly, Tyler strangely refers to himself in the third person through this video, calling himself "Tyler". He also calls himself "ᛇ" instead of "I" at one point. Finally, "Tyler" claims that he wished he could "bring everything back to null" by using "The Four Giants". While it could simply be odd wording, this sounds like a very in-character comment...
After the message from "Tyler" ended in "The End", the video actually kept playing. As the players watched a silent, black screen, text suddenly appeared in the video:

"If you are reading this come to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSszt3CVZjU and meet up with me for just minute chummers It still needs time to recover after hurting itself like this and shouldnt be able to catch this later"
Judging by wording, it's safe to assume that this message is actually from SKM himself. Interestingly, he implies that Tyler himself may not actually be responsible for this video, claiming that whatever uploaded "The End" is somehow "hurting itself". SKM's message also contained a link to another YouTube video - "llllllllllll". This video had actually been uploaded to the Quiet Family YouTube channel - the same channel discovered a few months prior that contained a message from Max.

SKM: "Can you see me? ((Unintelligible)) Can you hear me?"
The character "Max Headroom" can be heard laughing.
SKM: "Is this bloody thing working? ((Unintelligible))"
Distorted footage of "Max Headroom" laughing plays. He then begins speaking as the footage corrupts further.
Max Headroom: "Because you are going to see it as well. Yes, it. Yes, it. Yes, it. It. It. It."
Dark footage of SKM appears. He is wearing his gas mask and a hoodie.
Summary
- This video contained a brief message from SKM as he seemingly tested out an attempt to broadcast himself.
- A distorted Max Headroom can once again be seen - similar to previous videos featuring SKM.
This video contained a brief message from SKM as he attempted to reach out to the players. Unfortunately, it seems as though he's still having difficulty doing so - similarly to what was seen back in the video "SKMRETURNS" from 2018. Thankfully, the video's description contained a more complete message. Here, he provided a link to the Internet Detectives Discord server and claimed that he would be there to chat with them in "three days 'classic time'". What exactly this means is unclear... It's possible that SKM is in some sort of situation or environment that causes time to flow differently for him. Given Max's previous claim that SKM is currently "lost in the forest of masks", it's possible that he's actually somewhere within the Parallelos. Regardless, the players were now expecting him to contact them on Discord sometime soon.
Meanwhile, "The End" was still silently playing in the background - still displaying a black screen. While this was taking place, the Silentdork channel suddenly became active in the video's livechat:

It seems as though whatever entity uploaded this video was enraged that this didn't result in the end of the ARG. By this point, the players had enough puzzle pieces to see what exactly was taking place here...
Given the oddities found within "The End" and the canon SKM update found within it, it was clear that this was no simple "out-of-character" announcement. No, this video was a canon upload from an in-universe entity.
We can assume that the "Tyler" seen ranting on Discord is the same "Tyler" that created and uploaded this video. Because of this, we can assume that all of the supposedly "out-of-character" arguing on Discord was actually from this entity as well. This explains Tyler's odd and malicious behavior lately - it was never Tyler at all.
This entity displays the following traits: It has access to the IIIII account. It wants everything to end. It goes through great efforts to mislead the players. It refers to itself as "ᛇ". Given all of this, it's safe to assume that this entity that's been posing as an out-of-character Tyler is none other than Tenebris - the "Mask Entity".
After the outburst above, several other relevant YouTube channels chimed in:

"Walk the path again... Past the waters"
We see a hand with four fingers reach towards the camera before cutting to footage of what appears to be Tyler. Footage of someone walking along a sidewalk is shown. We are then shown the triangular rune board from before. Within the center of this board, footage of power lines and a bird flying away begins playing as the lines appear:

Shortly after this, the five lines appear again, but the second and third lines are now partially within a circle, making a parallelos symbol. Faint footage of Greth appears along with the following runes:

Footage of Tyler walking around his yard begins playing. He approaches the "Detour Sign" while speaking:
Tyler: "Hey guys, uhh… I just wanted to do another, uh, messing around with the sign video because it's been a little bit since that guy broke into my house and I haven't really done much of anything. See the, uh… sign's actually knocked down. Actually… did he break it?"
A distorted song begins playing and Tyler touches the sign, teleporting him somewhere else in his yard. Tyler looks up and sees Greth running at him with a sword.
Tyler: "Greth, Greth! What the fuck?"
Tyler touches the sign again, teleporting away from Greth. As he does so, the parallelos symbol appears.
Tyler: "That's too fucking… What the fuck is he doing?"
Greth begins running towards Tyler once again.
Tyler: "Greth? …Fuck."
Tyler begins running away, circling around his trailer.
Tyler: "Fuck-"
The video cuts ahead. We see Tyler run past Greth's car.
Tyler: "-here before!"
Tyler reaches his door and attempts to open it, but he has been locked out.
Tyler: "My fucking door is locked now!"
Tyler looks around for Greth.
Tyler: "Where is he…?"
Tyler turns around and runs towards the sign.
Tyler: "There he is… the sign!"
Tyler jumps on the sign just before Greth reaches him. The video distorts heavily, cutting to Tyler in a strange, green environment. Tyler attempts to teleport back by touching the sign, but the sign is now unresponsive. Tyler looks over to a nearby bridge. On the other side of the bridge stands a white, faceless, mannequin-like entity. Next to this entity is a briefcase. Matt's skull mask can also be seen laying on the bridge. Tyler approaches the entity and the video ends.
Summary
- This video starts off with footage of a green forest-like environment and Tyler walking down a sidewalk - presumably the Parallelos and "Paths" respectively.
- The video then cuts to footage of April 23rd, 2019 - the date Tyler disappeared.
- Tyler is seen going outside to experiment with the Detour Sign before suddenly being attacked by Greth wielding a sword.
- Tyler flees from Greth by using the Detour Sign to teleport away.
- Tyler attempts to use the Detour Sign again and warps to the Parallelos.
- Tyler finds himself in-front of a bridge in the Parallelos. On the bridge is Mat's skull mask, a briefcase, and the Mannequin entity.
As "The End" continues, we suddenly hear a deep voice reciting some familiar lines: "Walk the path again... Past the waters." As this line was said in the video, the Silentdork account posted the message "ᛇᛇᛇᛇ" in the livechat, hinting that this voice actually belongs to the Rune Entity. We are also shown footage of a four-fingered hand and the same triangular rune-casting board from before - imagery that we can assume is also related to the Rune Entity.
We can also see footage of a green forest-like environment. This is presumably the Parallelos, as it has often been likened to a forest. Additionally, we can see Tyler walking down a sidewalk. These are likely the "Paths" that he will be tasked with walking. Some runes then flash on screen that translate to a date - April 23rd, 2019 - the date that Tyler was supposedly "taken" to the Parallelos.
Footage then begins playing from April 23rd. We see Tyler leaving his house to go experiment with the Detour Sign. However, before he can properly begin his testing, he suddenly sees Greth charging at him with a sword. Tyler touches the sign, teleporting him away from Greth. Unfortunately, Greth continues his pursuit - no doubt fully under Patrem's control. Tyler manages to loop his way back around to the Detour Sign and use it once again. Unfortunately, this would prove to be a fatal mistake. The Detour Sign teleported him into a green, distorted environment - the Parallelos.
In-front of Tyler was a small bridge. As he began to pass over it, he sees what appears to be Mat's skull mask. Further down the bridge is the white Mannequin Entity and a briefcase - likely the same Mannequin Entity representative of Ben and the same briefcase containing a camera... However, before Tyler can approach, the video ends.
Shortly after the premiere of "The End" ended, the video's title changed to something much more fitting - "Start life". It seemed as though this were not the end of the ARG but instead the beginning of something much bigger.
