The story so far...
In the previous section, the players finally regained access to Lunarchildren.com. The site had been greatly expanded, now featuring several announcements dating back to June. Here, they learned that Liquidsaint briefly traveled to Florida to work on the Lunar Children servers housed in the Fishery. After this, he traveled to The Spire - though he's under heavy surveillance as many of his fellow cultists are still suspicious of him... Other announcements revealed that Matt communicated with Tenebris in private in order to steal The Ocarina. However, this was highly taboo, resulting in Matt being punished.
The site also featured more terminology pages, revealing new classifications of ascended spiritsTranscended: Powerful figures chosen by Luna herself. They retain their physical form and there are only four in existence - The Four Giants.
Finitor: Ascended entities that can travel through time. There are only two in existence.. The site also reveals different types of ParallelosLuna's Parallelos: The realm where Luna and the Absque Facie reside.
The Overworld: The realm where mankind resides - Earth.
Parallelos of the Dead: A prison where non-ascended spirits reside after death.
Sub-Parallelos: A dark, empty realm that connects to The Overworld.. These pages also revealed that "Portals" simply refer to electronic interfaces that communicate with ascended spirits, meaning that the Portal governed by Regiminis is actually Johnisdead.com. These pages also went further into skills learned via the Parallelos PathTraversing: The act of entering another Parallelos.
Sub-Traversing: Briefly entering a Sub-Parallelos to warp across the Overworld.
Listening: Listening to entities and ascended spirits in the Parallelos.
Scrying: Attaining visions of the past, present, and future.. The site also featured the cult's creation myth - "The Legend", which tells of how Luna created reality and bestowed man with knowledge via the "Three Silver Secrets". Sadly, the final Silver Secret remained a mystery because Luna had to return to her realm. These three secrets are related to Power, Wisdom, and Courage respectively. The ritual Patrem intends to preform on Undecim Nocte, The Ceremony of the Three Elements, involves the sacrifice of three people representative of these secrets. It's also implied that Luna took on a human form and had a child with one of Patrem's vessels. This child is implied to be Ben.
The Lunar Children Forums featured a variety of new characters. These included two new Elder Children who oversaw the cult's library at The Spire - Kuu and Jinn. Also found on the board was Jarilo - a knowledgeable older member who was a former Moon Child and the Old Man's brother. There was also Hunter - Jarilo's son, who was on track to becoming an Elder Child. Also found on the board was Hunter's friend Sin_yarikh, an eager newcomer named Tsukuyomi, one of the cult's assassins named Eddie, a singer named Harry, an artist named Sheepdog, a relaxed cultist named Igaluk, and a naive, peppy girl named Hina. At one point, Hina stumbled across Regiminis's Domain and found Tyler's Crescent Moon Necklace - something the Lunar Children demanded that the drop off at the Fishery.
On the forums, Jarilo began explaining more of the Moon Children's history. He claims that Kelbris didn't die in 1998. Instead, this was the year he heard the "Luna Prophecy" and made many of his discoveries regarding ascension and transcendence. The Moon Children saw this as blasphemy and later sent Matt to kill him in 2002 as a part of his initiation into the cult. However, this resulted in Kelbris's transcendence, proving his "blasphemy" correct. He also provided more evidence that Mr. D was actually Tenebris... The forums also held another revelation - the identities of the final two giants, Alex and Spencer. More information regarding all of these terms and characters can be found in the Character Summaries and Glossary below.
Later that night, Tenebris initiated a countdown - one that signaled that the Lunar Children Forums were about to be wiped. Before the posts above were deleted, players discovered one rather ominous thread that hinted that Hunter was being tasked with killing someone close to him... The Forums were deleted, leaving a board titled "Controller", which held The Ocarina. However, the players were now once again locked out of the forums. Meanwhile, after a several month-long absence, SKM finally contacted the players with some urgent news...

Story
On November 6th, 2015, Liquidsaint purged the Lunar Children Forums, leaving only the "Controller" board where The Ocarina was held. Unfortunately, the players were also now locked out of the forums. Shortly afterwards, SKM contacted the players on an IRC chat that was hastily set up on Johnisdead.com.

SKM claims that the Lunar Children are now constantly watching him. This seemingly confirms that he is indeed Liquidsaint, considering the fact that they're both under constant Lunar Child surveillance on top of all their other similarities. He claims that this IRC chatroom he's set up was done so very hastily - he actually stole it from the Lunar Children and was unable to hide it in his usual webpage - likely referring to Key592.

SKM claims that he's been a member of the Lunar Children for quite a while - likely referring to the videos on Lostmemory423 which depict him infiltrating the cult back in 2011. He also fully confirms that he is Liquidsaint. Thankfully, he manages to grant the players access back to the Lunar Children Forums, allowing them to access The Ocarina.
Upon logging back into the forums, the players took to the "Controller" board and submitted the "New Wave Bossa Nova", hoping to gain either an ally or further insight regarding their current situation.
On November 8th, 2015, the players' submission took effect with the sudden return of Jarilo.

Unfortunately, only parts of this conversation were achived.
Man stuff just gets weirder and weirder, probably a sign Luna's time is near hahaha!
I slept about 3 days away because I can barely remember anything about the past few days and now I guess I can suddenly post here hahaha.
Probably going senile knowing me, ol' Jarilo needs to just pipe his patooty down hahahaa!
((The players greet Jarilo, introducing themselves as some "old friends".))
((The players question Jarilo's concerning claim that he slept for three days.))
((Jarilo claims that he can no longer tell the passage of time because the clocks in his home have stopped working and the sun doesn't seem to be moving.))
Jarilo is experiencing many odd occurrences... He claims that he had just slept for three days straight and that his memory is foggy... On top of that, the clocks in his home no longer seem to be working and the sun outside isn't moving either. Jarilo brushes these oddities off as signs that Luna will soon be descending on Undecim Nocte.
Have you spoken with my son Hunter at all? I have not heard from him all day.
((The players ask Jarilo when the last time he saw Hunter was.))
I think it was this morning? No no it was a few days ago.
I have a big memory blank from on after that last post I made telling that kid about the misguided and stuff.
It feels like I have been waiting days for him to get back home now and the last time I remember seeing him was while I was telling some other youngster about Kelbris of the misguided before I dosed off for a nap.
Jarilo hasn't seen his son Hunter in several days. The last thing he can remember is making the post on the Lunar Children Forums that explained forbidden information about the Moon Children.
Hoping to pry some more useful information out of Jarilo, the players submit the "Mask of Truth" and ask about Undecim Nocte. In response, Jarilo simply reiterates that three sacrifices will be made. He also off-handedly mentions his brother, the Old Man.
By November 10th, 2015, tensions were running high. Undecim Nocte was just one day away. However, the players were holding off on rescuing Tyler. They were hoping to save him at the last minute, which would give the Lunar Children less time to retaliate. Early in the morning, Drowned entered the Internet Detectives Skype group and said the following: "so many inside the lunar forum talk to them. Jarilo333 knows so much more. he is not he seems." Upon checking the forums, the players saw that Jarilo had replied:
I doubt you would be familiar with him unless you were in on some of the most inner workings of the "misguided".
I am not sure how it happened because we were a bit distant for a while before it happened, but our earliest knowledge of what we now know as tenebris was when he came into contact with a video game cartridge.
The cartridge having previously had some contact with what we assume to be a dead member of the misguided.
((The players submit the "Mask of Truth" to get more answers out of Jarilo.))
Jarilo reiterates that his brother was indeed the Old Man who gave Alex the Majora's Mask Cartridge in 2010. The Old Man knew of Tenebris through his possession of the cartridge. He also claims that the game once had some contact with a dead Moon Child - clearly referring to Ben.
Sorry if this seems intrusive, but do you know anything about the plans for the Harbringer Link?
He is one of the 3 sacrifices, I kind of thought that was common knowledge by this point but again, shit spreads terribly around these parts hahaha!
Another fun fact for everyone: our poster child regiminis was supposed to have assimilated him after the ceremony on the original 11/11, but that was part of the grand fuck up on that day, they managed to ascend the wrong guy hahahahahahahahahaaaaa!
I am sure it will light a fire in there asses to know I am talking about this but frankly I am sick of these kids trying to act like they rule over me while they fail horribly at management in absence of any real overseer.

Jarilo rants about the current state of the Lunar Children, comparing Matt to a mindless zombie who seems to be taking orders from someone. He also reiterates that Tyler is one of the three people who will be sacrificed on Undecim Nocte. Interestingly, he claims that the Lunar Children originally intended for Regiminis to assimilate Tyler back during Undecim Nocte 2011, but the cult somehow ascended the wrong person instead...
Shortly after this, players check the forums and discovered that the user who they believed to be Tenebris, "___", made a new thread - one that contained the message "Why don't you tell him about his son". This thread was titled "user-19.html" - a piece of the URL that led players to Hunter's forum account. Here, they made the startling discovery that Hunter was now an Administrator on the forums. This implied that he had carried out his task to kill someone close to him, granting him the title of "Elder Child".
After this, the players returned to Jarilo's thread, believing that he might be in danger.

When the clock hit midnight, Undecim Nocte 2015 had arrived - November 11th, 2015. First, Matt made the following announcement:

Today is the day my brothers and sisters, I shall be away at the holy place of our past, but in the mean time banquets shall be held here at the spire. Celebrate everyone for the glorious time of Mothers descent is nearly upon us! -Operator
It seems Matt was going to be at the Fishery while most of the other cultists were celebrating at The Spire.
Meanwhile, the players began slowly putting the pieces together... Hunter was already an administrator, meaning he had already carried out his task to become an Elder Child. He had already kill someone close to him... Plus, Jarilo had been experiencing many strange occurrences around his home. From his perspective, time had frozen, his memory was foggy, and he hadn't seen his son in days.
The answer was clear. Hunter had killed and ascended his own father - Jarilo.
Shortly after the players made this revelation, disturbing audio began playing on the Lunar Children Forums. Afterwards, Jarilo posted the following haunting message:

"Why did you do this to me hunter"
In his final moments, Jarilo left the following message: "Your friend is next, I can see him now, young one what was done to me shall be the terrible fate of your link. They have him now, he cannot escape alone.".
The players needed to act - now.
Taking to the "Controller" board on the Lunar Children Forums, the players first submitted the "Song of Soaring". After this, they accidentally submitted the "Song of Soaring" a second time by quoting the original submission above... Shortly after this, a video was uploaded to Silentdork - "I am doing just fine".

The video starts with Tyler sitting on his bed looking incredibly nervous. Someone is filming him.
Tyler: "Uh, hey guys, uh, just- just wanted to make a quick video and just, uh, let you all know I'm doing okay and it's been a while since I put anything out. Um... uh, yeah, everything's good, everything's g-going just fine. Um... uh, I found my necklace, by the way, found my necklace that my girlfriend gave me. I have no idea where that went, but you know, where it is... the- and, uh... and everything's going fine..."
Summary
- Tyler delivers a message claiming that he's doing fine while someone records him.
- Tyler claims to have recovered his Crescent Moon Necklace.
Upon initial viewing, the video above seems to indicate that the players efforts were successful - Tyler is now safe and back at home. However, the upload has several small oddities that hint that not all is what it seems...
First, it's very clear that Tyler is not shooting this video on his own - he's being recorded by someone. This should be impossible because Tyler lives alone. Secondly, the video's description claims that "I got a bit lost on his way to Kevin's house" - a brief referral to Tyler in the third person, implying that Tyler himself did not upload this video. Finally, the fact that Tyler suddenly once again has the Crescent Moon Necklace is suspicious in itself because it was previously in the cult's possession.
The message was clear - Tyler was still in danger and the video above was simply a ruse.
Shortly afterwards, Thoth posted an announcement on Lunarchildren.com:

THE HARBINGERS LINK IS MISSING
He is no longer in his holding area at the fishery!
I have been informed he uploaded a video from his home earlier today. There is little time, and we must hurry and move in on his location! Anyone with the capability to move in for capture, do so at once!
The Lunar Children have noticed Tyler's upload and are currently traveling to his home to capture him. He was supposedly being held at the Fishery before this. In response, the players submitted both the "Song of Soaring" and the "Stone Mask" - teleporting Tyler away from his home and making him invisible.
For the rest of the night, the Lunar Children were silent. The players were successful in rescuing Tyler from the Ceremony of the Three Elements and another Undecim Nocte had been foiled.
On November 12th, 2015, Thoth posted another announcement:

I had to post this here because your forum is a complete wreck at the moment saint!
The cult was in a state of chaos and disarray - even their forums were no longer usable outside of the players' access to the "Controller" board.
However, some players were still concerned about Tyler's wellbeing. They had come to suspect that the Crescent Moon Necklace held some nefarious secret... The cult had put a decent amount of work into recovering it and it seemed fairly important to their plans - given the outrage expressed at Hina for taking it. Because of this, the players decided that it needed to be separated from Tyler. In order to do this, they submitted "Epona's Song", hoping to summon Helper. This was a success, as moments later, Helper's account on the Lunar Children Forums became active:

"Hello, Adventurers! It sure has been quite a while. Has everything gone well for you? Do you need assistance? Perhaps the deliverance of a package?"
The players proceed to ask Helper to do two things. First, he was to take the Crescent Moon Necklace away from Tyler, keeping him safe from whatever supposed negative effects it may have. Secondly, he was to deliver a camera to Tyler. This was so that Tyler could continue recording, archiving, and uploading any more strange occurrences. Helper accepted these tasks and departed.
While all of this was taking place, a familiar website was undergoing several changes in the background - Decoy.link. Unfortunately, the contents of this website are not archived - all that is known is that it was undergoing gradual, consistent updates around this time. Additionally, it supposedly contained text that read "Event//11-29-2015 D30-33", though what exactly this is referring to is unknown. Given the site's sudden change in tone, it's likely that Zack Nelson had somehow lost control of the domain...
On November 30th, 2015, Thoth posted yet another announcement on Lunarchildren.com:

I am keeping this private for the time being so only elder children can see this, I dont know whats happened to Mathew, and all our contact with the harbingers link has gone dark, WHY THE FUCK DID WE LET HIM DO IT!? WHY DID WE LET HIM GET AWAY????
Either way there is no need to worry, its only a matter of time before Regiminis gets to him when he connects to the web. Also someone be sure to talk to Hunter about what happened with the necklace, that was our fucking ace in the hole, I dont understand how it got back into our hands like that but just letting the harbinger yank him out of here with it was a fucking mistake.
This confirmed that Tyler had successfully escaped the Lunar Children. However, Regiminis is intending to track him down through the internet and capture him once more. Interestingly, it seems as though Hunter and Matt have both gone missing. Thoth also implies that Tyler obtaining the Crescent Moon Necklace on Undecim Nocte was somehow Hunter's fault...
Over the next few weeks, activity dwindled. However, Johnisdead.com did see a minor update on December 18th, 2015 that included an image of Tyler with text that read "Friend, We Miss You.".
Eventually, 2015 was beginning to draw to a close as New Year's Eve approached. After a month-long silence, Tyler suddenly returned on December 31st, 2015 - once again chatting with the players in the Internet Detectives Skype group. Unfortunately, the players' messages throughout this conversation were not archived.
She doesn’t want me to talk to anyone.
She’s taken away all of my electronics, filming will get me into trouble. She won’t tell me why.
It’s new years eve, I thought this would be a happy time, but she has me locked in this room.
However she forgot to close her laptop.
I feel like someone is still watching me, even now.
She said she had to go somewhere for a bit, something about keeping everything under control.
I don’t know where she is. But she’s is so different now than I remember her being.
It seems Tyler has taken the trip to visit Carla in Australia as he said he would. However, it turns out that her obsession with anonymity has transformed into full-blown paranoia. She's since locked tyler in her home, taken away his electronics, and kept him from speaking to anyone. Thankfully, he's managed to access her laptop to contact the players.

Tyler says he's been having nightmares of a burning man speaking to him - presumably John. These dreams also featured an owl telling him to tell the rest of his story. This seems to be hinting that he needs to upload some videos - possibly footage of what happened to him while he was kidnapped by the Lunar Children... Interestingly, Tyler's messages contain misplaced capitalized letters that spell out "KEVIN" - Tyler's friend who went missing back in 2011...

Tyler says that Carla denies having any knowledge of the Lunar Children. However, her house seems to be filled with masks - some of which seem to be covered in blood... Tyler also feels as though he's being watched by someone - someone other than Carla... Shortly after this, Tyler's account posted a cipher - one that translated to the following:
Dont worry old friend you wont be trapped here for long
Before it was solved, a part of this cipher contained the text "red man", implying that this message actually came from Regiminis, who had presumably connected to the internet and was traveling to Tyler's location, as Thoth said he would.
Afterwards, Tyler's account was hijacked once again:

Given their friendly nature and the presence of ciphers, this message is presumably from Drowned. Cryptically, Drowned warns that Tyler will "<span class="canquote See the source - the start of the game". What exactly this is referring to is unknown... They also reference Ben's connection to Tenebris - "THE DROWNED ONE FROM THE FATHER". However, the second message is a bit more cryptic... "THE BURNED ONE FROM K" seems to be drawing some sort of connection between John and Kevin...
After this, Tyler regained control of his account and posted the following:
Someone is here messing with he computer somehow. I need to go.
She usually uses irc chat and lenphone. So hopefully she won’t notice that I managed to get into her skype for a moment.
Noticing the odd activity on his account, he leaves - not wanting to alert Carla.
After this, there was silence... The new year rolled around with no new updates from Tyler, the Lunar Children, or even Johnisdead.com. It wasn't until February 11th, 2016 that the players finally saw an update - a new video on Silentdork titled "waiting.wmv".

On February 12th, 2016, Tenebris seemingly sent another message via an updated on Johnisdead.com. The front page now hid the text "WE SEE YOU WHOLE AGAIN SOON" and the files "madness.png" and "april.mp3", implying that something big would be happening during that month...
A few days later on February 15th, 2015, a new video was uploaded to Lostmemory423 - "IMG_1426".
Description
If you wish to be called SKM from here on, fine that is what we will call you, but before we can let you come to the fishery we need you to prove your worth to us, record yourself going to the enclosed geo coordinates, this place was the meeting grounds of who we knew as the misguided. There should be a key, this key gathered the essence of the dying remnants of that place, find it, open the last standing building in that orchard with it and film what masks remain for our archives. If you succeed you will be answering to the man who ended them for us from the inside, Elder child Mathew.

The video begins with someone walking down a wooded path during the day. They cross a small stream and pass through a gate. The video cuts to them walking along another grassy path. They look to their right and see an old, stone structure. They investigate the structure for some time before looking on the ground. They discover a small, burnt piece of paper that reads as follows:

They search the ground further and find a key with an S inscribed on it. They hear some movement in the nearby brush and quickly look around. They eventually stand up and begin walking towards an open field.

Judging by this video's title and description, it was seemingly recorded before the other videos on Lostmemory423. This video reveals what SKM did in order to gain the Lunar Children's trust - he visited The Orchard and found a strange key there. This key is said to contain the "essence of the dying remnants of that place", though what this means exactly isn't fully known. After this, SKM was instructed to use that key to unlock a building in The Orchard and film the masks that were housed within it. Unfortunately, we are not shown this part - only SKM getting the key. It can be assumed that SKM carried out this task. Afterwards, he was given the coordinates to visit the Fishery where he was gifted the Briefcase - as seen in the channel's other videos.
Judging by the description's wording, it seems that the Moon Children met some sort of sudden, terrible fate and no longer exist. Strangely, SKM finds an old, burnt note that reads as follows:

After this, the ARG saw another long drought of activity. Feeling antsy, the players made another post on the Lunar Children Forums on March 2nd, 2016 - this time containing the "Postman's Hat" and the message "Hey Helper! You promised us a necklace...". Much to the players' concern, there was no response from Helper...
Hoping to break the month-long radio silence, on March 10th, 2016, the players made another submission - the "New Wave Bossa Nova". However, instead of summoning Helper, it instead saw the return of Drowned. Unfortunately, the players' responses during this conversation were not archived.

I am becoming more aware to consciousness. We are coming closer and closer to self realization, and I am remembering many things.

It was not his fault. They forced him. He didn't know.
Drowned seems to be in danger. Thankfully, the players' submission has allowed him to briefly escape and contact them. He claims that he's slowly becoming more cognizant - something that becomes more apparent as the spirits of both Ben and Max proceed to chat with the players.
Drowned claims that one piece of him drowned while the other was kidnapped - likely referring to the fates of Ben and Max respectively. Interestingly, Max claims that he was actually kidnapped by Jacob in 2011. However, this wasn't Jacob's fault - it was something he was somehow forced to do... At this point, the meaning of this and Jacob's involvement with the Lunar Children still remains a mystery, unfortunately.

Drowned reveals that he's current in Regiminis's captivity. Regiminis is hoping to give Drowned to Tenebris in exchange for John's spirit. This trade would presumably benefit both Regiminis and Tenebris, as it's been said that Regiminis will become more powerful when he obtains John's spirit. Likewise, Tenebris claims he'll also become more powerful if he can reclaim Ben's spirit. This is all terrible news for the players.
He wanted to find the masks. He thought they had me. They had us. Have. He did their bidding to enter their ranks.
He searched for it with the numbers we learned so he could find them.
He met with the masks and they told him what they wanted. They sent him to the Moonchildren who were already d
killed them all but left behind something important.
He found the list and, then the key, and went to the orchard my father used to play with the children in.

Drowned reiterates what's been learned about SKM's past so far:
Max went missing in 2011. After this, SKM began investigating the Lunar Children. On Undecim Nocte 2011, Drowned entered SKM's computer and gave him the coordinates to the Fishery. SKM reached out and contacted the Lunar Children. Before they would let him visit the Fishery, he was tasked with traveling to The Orchard and recording the masks that remained there - something that would require him to find a special key first. SKM carried out this task. Afterwards, he traveled to the Fishery. However, he was late and the Fishery was abandoned. Regardless, he was still gifted the Briefcase for his efforts.
Interestingly, Drowned claims that the Briefcase was left for SKM by Helper - something that was done at their request. The object within the Briefcase is said to have belonged to either Ben or Max before they passed away.
Drowned then asked the players if they would like to see what was inside the Briefcase. Of course, the players all answered "Yes". In response, Drowned posted the following video:

The video above seemingly showcases an alternate version of events. In this situation, SKM opens the Briefcase and finds a book - possibly the Libro Lunarus. Drowned claims that he doesn't remember this happening and that someone has traveled through time and changed the past - presumably Tenebris. However, the ramifications and purpose of this is unknown...
After this, Drowned became silent once more. Hoping to gain their friend some extra time, the players submitted the "Song of Time" on March 11th, 2016.
A few days later on March 15th, 2016, Johnisdead.com changed in response. The front page was now titled "RETURN" and contained the image "time.gif".
On March 17th, 2016, Drowned once again began chatting with the players.

Not only was Drowned still in danger, but now SKM was as well. Regiminis was supposedly planning on giving Tenebris Drowned as a vessel and SKM as a physical body - his Conduit.
After this, Drowned posted several disturbing videos - all titled "Please Help".
This video contained footage of a white, faceless, mannequin-esque entity...
The clip above contained distorted footage of what appears to be Regiminis smiling.
This video contained a corrupted red-tinted entity holding a copy of the Libro Lunarus...
The video above features a furious entity angrily shouting "WHERE IS HE!?" - presumably searching for Drowned.
The final video features the same mannequin-esque entity from before. It is now seen wearing a gas mask as it disappears into the shadows. This seemingly implies that this mannequin-esque entity is actually Drowned.
Hoping to buy Drowned some extra time, the players submitted the "Garo's Mask" - a mask from Majora's Mask that disguises Link as an enemy to avoid detection. This seemingly worked, as indicated by Drowned shortly afterwards:
You saved us. Hid us as one of the servants of the red man.
Regiminis, the title of one to govern. He was to govern the portal, as its called.
And portals there are many, but they sought to organize johnisdead.com, he named it after what he did.
But he was angered as all was not according to plan. This was only to taunt his destined kill: The link.
The link? Tyler?

I cannot be sure. I know the woman of the clock tower knows more but she is frightened of returning to the portal.

Drowned claims that Regiminis was meant to govern Johnisdead.com in an attempt to organize it and keep it under control. He also says that Regiminis himself named the website "Johnisdead.com" after "what he did", implying that Regiminis himself is responsible for John's death. He named the website this in an attempt to taunt Tyler, who Drowned claims is Regiminis's "destined kill".
He wished to make a great sacrifice to the mother. It wishes to consume. Consume everything.
Their first plan was with the first portal yshdt.com, but due to what they called the harbingers, this plan failed years ago in your time before many could ascend to it.
Do you know who the harbringers are?
All of you. The warriors of hubris before he lost himself.
They have many now. Too many. The masks. The Children.
So many they have, that they could not keep them confined to johnisdead.
You have seen what happened to lunarchildren.com.
Their pride stops them from admitting their failure.
Drowned claims that someone wished to make a sacrifice for Luna, who simply wants to consume and destroy everything. He also reveals that YSHDT.com was the Lunar Children's first attempt to create what Johnisdead.com would later become - a large portal containing many ascended spirits. However, thanks to the players' efforts, it failed.
Drowned also describes the players as the "Warriors of Hubris before he lost himself" - likely referring both to the fact that the players utilized the Within Hubris message boards and the fact that they were in semi-frequent contact with Matt back in 2010 during Jadusable's ARG.
There was a time in which the red man took me to be traded to the salesman.

The salesman wants two things from red man; a body in exchange for the burned one, and MUCH more power than he has now.
Why is the burned one important?
The masks tell many lies, but between lies hides truth.
Amongst their now twisted lore it is a truth that one who ascends can be promised much more power if they have what is deemed a conduit.
A conduit is one who has been killed as a result of their own ascension. However beings beyond all of us may take sacrifices as conduits when lowering to our realms.
So was john a sacrifice conduit?
By mistake yes. The one who plays with time is laughing.
The father spoke with beings beyond all of us during that year before that day.
Before Patrem became bound to his vessel and before I could breath once more.
Patrem spoke to them and said 'He must be sacrificed to the mother as I have watched his existence break many things in my time, he will be used by regiminis as a conduit'
What can you tell us about Patrem?

Regiminis is offering Tenebris both Drowned's spirit and SKM's body in exchange for John's spirit. Drowned explains that this is because John is Regiminis's Conduit. He describes a conduit as someone who died as a result of someone else's ascension. John somehow died because of Regiminis's ascension on Undecim Nocte 2011. However, this was an accident and not the Lunar Children's original intention. Regardless, Regiminis will still become more powerful if he can reclaim his conduit - John's spirit.
After this, Drowned made a startling reveal:

The link posted by Drowned took players to Google Translate, where it was revealed that the word "Kevi", short for "Kevin", would be automatically detected as a Malagasy term that translated to "Governing". Considering the fact that "Regiminis" was the Latin word for "Governance", this left the players with a horrifying realization - Kevin was Regiminis. This explained why Kevin disappeared in 2011 - he ascended on Undecim Nocte. This also explains Regiminis's various connections with the Crescent Moon Necklace - Kevin was the one who was suspected of stealing it. This also implies that "Regiminis's Domain" is simply Kevin's former home.
Following this, Drowned proceeded to upload another video to Lostmemory423 - "IMG_1427".

This video starts with SKM walking near a fence only to see that it is locked. The footage cuts to them walking near some hedges only to reveal another fence. The video cuts once more and now we can finally hear audio. SKM approaches an old white house that is somewhat in ruins. A few masks can be seen strewn about the house. SKM approaches some shelves and says the following:
SKM: "Papers, papers, papers, papers... Something (Indecipherable) book as well..."
SKM picks up a note found on top of the shelves which reads as follows:
Don't forget, Alex gets special treatment, he has a lot to teach us though what he did with that youtube account and the cartridge we may rid oursevles of this demon yet.
SKM continues searching around the building. He looks beneath what appears to be Matt's skull mask before looking out the backdoor of the house. Oddly, the skull mask seems to be outside suddenly. As SKM turns around, he sees the skull mask once again in a different location, now being on a table. As he films the mask, a loud noise can be heard and the footage distorts. When he looks back outside, the mask is no longer sitting on the ground. He looks back in the building to find the mask missing from the table as well. SKM approaches the table and finds a radio with some papers sitting next to it. Below is what was written on the paper:

The footage suddenly corrupts as a loud sound is heard along with the Skull Kid's laugh. SKM turns around as suddenly many papers and a gas mask fall from the ceiling. SKM inspects the papers which all read "Where is Mr D?". SKM approaches the gas mask which is sitting upon the Libro Lunarus. A screenshot of a post from Drowned on Youshouldnthavedonethat.net appears as the video corrupts. The gas mask is suddenly missing. SKM looks around the room but sees it nowhere in sight. He reaches down and retrieves the Libro Lunarus. The video cuts. SKM is now leaving the Orchard.

This video showcases SKM's visit to The Orchard in 2011. It takes place after he found the strange key and list of Moon Children names in a previous Lostmemory423 video. He is now at The Orchard to carry out two tasks: film the various masks that were left at The Orchard and retrieve the missing Libro Lunarus. This is presumably the same copy of the Libro Lunarus that SKM would later return to the Lunar Children.
As SKM progresses through The Orchard, he spots several different masks laying around the premises. Interestingly, one of these seems to he Matt's skull mask, which appears to be moving on its own somehow... SKM also finds several different notes that reveal some interesting information.
First, it seems as though the Moon Children took a great deal of interest in Alex in 2010 - mainly due to his close interaction with Tenebris and the footage he uploaded to his Jadusable YouTube channel. The cult claims that Alex is to be given "special treatment", which further hints towards the fact that he was later found among their ranks.
Secondly, Alex supposedly obtained the Libro Lunarus from the Lunar Children and brought it to the Moon Children, who proceeded to read through it and learn a bit about The Four Giants and the process of transcendence. How exactly all of this came to pass is still a mystery, however.
Thirdly, the Moon Children claim that Matt suddenly began killing and ascended other cultists. This resulted in the transcendence of both Alex and Spencer into the second and third giants respectively. This somehow involved Matt teleporting across a great distance as it's implied that Spencer was in a Moon Child location called the "New York Grotto" when he was killed.
Finally, it's revealed that the Moon Child Insidiae was a traitor who was secretly working for the Lunar Children. Back on Youshouldnthavedonethat.net, it was revealed that Insidiae's true name was Kevin. Because of this, we can safely assume that the Moon Child Kevin and the Kevin who was Tyler's friend are indeed one-in-the-same. This also matches up with information revealed on the Lunar Children Forums claiming that Regiminis infiltrated the Moon Children.
To summarize all of the above: The Moon Children took interest in Alex after he uploaded his videos to the internet. They proceeded to give him special treatment in order to learn more information about his interactions with Tenebris. At some point, Alex stole the Libro Lunarus from the Lunar Children and gave it to the Moon Children. Eventually, Matt turned against the cult and began killing and ascending Moon Children - including transcending Alex and Spencer. It was also revealed that Insidiae was actually Regiminis - a Lunar Child spy.
After exploring The Orchard for a while, SKM eventually comes across the Libro Lunarus - presumably the same one that Alex stole a year prior in 2010. Ominously, a Gas Mask also falls from the ceiling before disappearing. SKM takes the Libro Lunarus and leaves. After this, he presumably travels to the Fishery and receives the Briefcase.
By March 19th, 2016, the players were desperate to submit anything that might save Drowned. This resulted in them eventually posting the "Minuet of Forest" on the Lunar Children Forums - a song from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that would warp Link to the Forest Temple. Unfortunately, this didn't seem to have any effect for the time being...
On March 23rd, 2016, the players received one final message from Drowned:
Drowned
"I am sorry that this cannot be changed, but the time is coming, it is nearly here. Sam will be spared, you managed this. You really do have the gift to change things. We are sorry."
Despite their best efforts, the players were unable to rescue Drowned. However, through the submission of the "Garo's Mask", they were able to save SKM, whose real name is revealed to be "Sam".
Regiminis and Tenebris made their trade - both becoming far more powerful in the process.
The next day, the players saw the result of this trade - an ominous upload on Silentdork simply titled "Regiminis".
