The story so far...
In the previous section, the players failed to rescue Mason from his terrible fate. Desperate for answers, they began searching an expanded YSHDT.com, discovering many cryptic files in the process. One of these files was the "Bomb Plans" - some notes belonging to Doug that seemed to be schematics for a supernatural time-defying weapon. In a moment of foolishness, the players showed these notes to Doug. This enraged him, resulting in him corrupting Letschasethemouse and cutting off contact with the players. This also led to the players losing their ability to use The Ocarina.
Shortly after this, the players were contacted by Mason. However, this version of Mason supposedly survived and was now speaking from the year 2015 though some archaic computer built by Doug. Unfortunately, the players' contact with this version of Mason was cut short with the misplaced submission of the command ".root", which severed their connection with him. With no allies, no powers, and no leads, the YSHDT Arc came to a close. At this point, the GM stepped out from behind the curtain, revealing himself to be the player Dawn. The player Circlehunter was also assisting the GM, having played the role of The Gray Man.
Due to the YSHDT Arc's sudden end, many mysteries remained... Who is "Saint"? Who is the "Grand Child"? What happened on the night of his ritual? What is Vincent's true name? Who is The Gray Man? Why was he traveling to a cellphone tower? What happened to Mason? How was there a living version of him speaking through a computer? How did Doug change so suddenly? What is the significance of the playing cards? What is this mysterious "Portal"? Who is the "Burned One"?
Thankfully, these questions would not remained unanswered forever, as The Man revealed that a new arc would soon begin - one ran by a team of completely different GM's...

On May 14th, 2015, YSHDT.com underwent one final update. The page now contained an ominous image titled "him.jpg" and a message from Rosa:

Drowned posts an incomplete message - " hn is dead", which is somewhat reminiscent of one of the first messages sent by Patrem in the previous arc - " o n urn d". Drowned also seems to be urging the players to follow Rosa's instructions found on YSHDT.com. However, Patrem warns against this...

The player Mugen Kagemaru submits the "Song of Double Time" - the players' first formal act of defiance against Patrem. Enraged, Patrem curses the players, claiming that they are now all damned. Back on Skype, Drowned joins a voice call with the players and begins speaking with a hushed, fearful whisper:

Drowned shares a new website with the players - one with a rather concerning name... "Johnisdead.com". For reference, John was the name of one of the players. He was a member of the Internet Detectives from the very beginning of the YSHDT Arc, and now this website is claiming that he's dead.
The website itself featured a photo of a street titled "Foggyworld248.jpg" and text that read "WAKE UP". This was accompanied by a comforting yet eerie sounding track...
Back on Skype, Drowned continued chatting with the players:
He's hurting me.
Who's hurting you?
Father
Quiet, he's coming now.
Understood
((The Song of Unhealing plays along with some loud noises.))
Please don't hurt me.

((A loud sound can be heard.))
Father is very mad. I'm not allowed to talk right now.

Drowned is in a great deal of distress as Patrem is seemingly searching for him.
What is your name?
I don't remember anymore.
He's trying to...
((Loud sounds are heard.))
((Drowned can be heard sobbing.))
Calm down, we will do what we can.

I can see him. The fool.
Three are gone.
Father sent three of you.

They were never really there.
Unfortunately, Drowned cannot remember his true name. He also reveals something disturbing to the Internet Detectives - three of their fellow players are gone. He claims that Patrem "sent" these three players somewhere and that they were never truly amongst the players. What this means exactly is unknown.
Father will hurt me.
Do you think it's worth it?
I will do it.
Suddenly, Patrem joins the Skype call and speaks in a deep, booming voice.
I HAVE FOUND YOU BOY.
Be quiet, foolish child.
((Drowned leaves the Skype call.))
I have silenced that boy for now.

Patrem claims that he first sent the Grand Child to silence Drowned. However, the Grand Child supposedly failed, forcing Patrem to join the Skype call to silence Drowned himself.

Patrem plays a recording of one of the three missing players. Though the players are unable to identify who they are, it sounds as though they're being chased by something. Patrem then implies that he's taken this individual's memories and that the players won't be able to find him.

Patrem claims that the "one who is dead" has a message for the players - presumably referring to John. He also finally reveals the name of the Grand Child - Regiminis, and warns that he is coming. This entire conversation can be read below:

In the aftermath of the night's events, players began slowly putting the pieces together. They realized that three of their fellow players hadn't been active in quite some time - namely John, Jacob, and Tyler. They began theorizing that these were the three players that were "never really there", as described by Drowned.
On May 15th, 2015, the player Eve began chatting with Patrem in PM's. Here, the players were able to clarify a few things:

These options were presumably describing the three missing players - John, Jacob, and Tyler. Players decided to choose the second option.

Patrem confirms that John is dead. Not only that, Regiminis is also searching for him. This seems to imply that John ascended, since it wouldn't make much sense for the Grand Child to be searching for a corpse.
This leaves Tyler and Jacob as the "one who was taken" and the "one who has forgotten", though which one is which is still a mystery.
The next day on May 16th, 2015, Within Hubris once again flared up with activity as a new user named SKM joined the forums. This user spoke in an odd, light-hearted manner and used the character "Max Headroom" as their avatar.

This page's existence seemed to confirm that Tyler was one of the three missing players. The page itself contained text that read "CONTACT" and "find him", implying that the players needed to seek him out...

That purple bastard and his "neophyte" regimins can't see what I am saying for now but I have to be fast so you better be taking note. There is a lot going on right now you could not begin to understand, you guys really did it with that time jumping shit (who in the bloody hell gave you control of such dangerous shit?). Those 3 were never there to begin with, have you bothered to listen to the beginning of your "theme". The rabbit hole goes deep my friends. If things go as planned I will be setting up a secure communications point with you all on sometime between the 19th and 20th (yes in 2015 because the purple bastard can never be exact in his reference to time)
SKM calls attention to the beginning of the Internet Detectives theme song - the same song created by Tyler and Jacob during the previous arc.
Upon giving the theme a closer listen, players realized that a raspy voice can be heard whispering "John is dead..." around the five second mark. This meant that John's fate had been hinted at five months ago and no one realized it...
SKM promises to contact the players in a more secure manner on either May 19th or May 20th. He also clarifies that he's speaking from the year 2015, confirming that the players were no longer interacting with the past but instead the present-day.

Well you will have to be a bit specific. He has had a handful of neophytes and "grand children".
Ha I'm just pissing about. I know you are talking about ol regimipiss. Well all I know about him personally is that he wasn't always called that, regiminis I mean. He was dedicated really strongly to "The path of parallelos" and all the other various teachings of the lunar children. He was ready to die for the purple bastard. Then father vincent over at the fishery compound up and decided the kid was ready for ascension, by decree of the purple bastard himself.
SKM claims that "Regiminis" is simply a name that was given to the Grand Child - not his birth name. This is similar to Vincent and was hinted at during the previous arc. He also notes that Regiminis was dedicated to something called "The Path of Parallelos", which he implies is a set of teachings within the cult. Interestingly, SKM calls this cult the "Lunar Children", NOT the "Moon Children". This could imply that this is a completely separate cult from the one seen during the events of Ben Drowned. However, at this point, there wasn't enough evidence to say either way...

Tl;dr, the 3 are jayckup, tyler and john.
I can't exactly get to into detail about this but when regiminis hijacked the "portal" as it has been called (the purple bastard is a bit silly with his need to mystify) and called it what he did, it was for a damn petty reason. But it is what it is, john is certainly no longer around and has not been since the accident on 11/11/11.
Tyler is perfectly fine at the moment. However, fuckery from the purple bastard and his children brigade has caused him to forget this whole mess. Worry not, I'll be doing some work soon to make him come out into the open again, just try not to scare the "broskino".
I actually have no intel on this jayckup person other than he was closely associated with tyler and john and vanished some time before the 2011 accident, nor do I have any intel on mason. Doug is still around, but let us just say that a lot has changed since 2009.
I don't think you ever knew vincent before 2015, but I can't be sure since he wasn't always named vincent either and I have no intel on him before that. But since the 11/11/11 bs he has still been doing the same thing, being blissfully un aware of his role as purple bastard vessel (but a little fun fact I know that no one else does, he can't get the hell out of vincent either, and THAT is bloody hilarious XD )
SKM confirms that the three missing players are John, Jacob, and Tyler. He also begins explaining more confusing history regarding Regiminis and the cult:
SKM references the "Portal" previously mentioned by Patrem - the same one that was created by "Saint" and is currently controlled by Regiminis. He reiterates what Patrem said during the previous arc - the name of this "Portal" is somewhat petty and was actually chosen by Regiminis himself. Regardless, the players still didn't know what to make of this so-called "Portal", so they pushed this subject to the side for now.
SKM reveals that John died four years ago on November 11th, 2011 in some sort of accident. Interestingly, he also implies that this was the same date that Patrem became trapped inside Vincent... This seems to suggest that the two are connected. Though SKM doesn't know anything about Mason, he claims that Doug is still around, though he's very different from how he was in 2009. This means he's likely still malicious and antagonistic towards the players...
To summarize...
After 2009, Mason was unaccounted for while Doug presumably remained as his altered, malicious form. At some point, Jacob disappeared and hasn't been seen since. On November 11th, 2011, a ritual involving Regiminis took place. However, this went awry when two individuals referred to as "The Burned One" and the "Flying One" interfered. This resulted in Patrem becoming trapped within Vincent. Because of this, Vincent lost his memories. On this same night, John was killed. Now, in the present, Tyler is still alive. However, Patrem has manipulated his memories, causing him to forget his involvement with the players.

On May 17th, 2015, a new player named Zack Nelson discovered that Johnisdead.com had updated. The front page now contained text that read "key592", leading them to a new page - "https://johnisdead.com/key592". To be more accurate, this was actually a directory that would occasionally be updated with new files. For now, it contained only two files - a disturbing image titled "_o_n__urned.png" and "fate.txt", which read "February 19th, 2015 Check your notes".
Following the clue found in "fate.txt", players searched their archives for the date February 19th, 2015. Here, they discovered a noteworthy quote from Patrem - "He also enjoyed music. o n urn d. Now he has ascended.". Shortly after this, "fate.txt" update, now containing the full, uncensored quote from Patrem:

Just like the Internet Detectives theme song, Patrem, too, was trying to tell the players of John's fate several months earlier. John burned to death and ascended. This heavily implies that John is the "Burned One" mentioned by Patrem - the individual that Regiminis is attempting to capture. This also means that John was the "Screaming Child" who interfered with Regiminis's ritual on November 11th, 2011. This further links the cause of John's death to this ritual and possibly gives an explanation for why Regiminis is attempting to capture his spirit. Before the players could process all of this, "fate.txt" updated once again, now cryptically reading "Too late...".
Johnisdead.com underwent several other mysterious changes. The image on the front page changed to a photo of some power lines. Players also dug into the audio on the page and discovered that its metadata revealed its true name was "@90" by the artist "k3v1n". The text on the page later changed to "RESEARCH", urging the players to dig deeper. This led to them discovering the page "https://johnisdead.com/uploads", which simply contained a simple geometric symbol and the cryptic message "UPLOADED FROM REMOTE SOURCE 8/29/2014 4:44 AM".
Later on, a new file appeared on Key592 titled "firekid.jpg" - a morbid photo of John smiling at the camera. Shortly after this discovery, the image was removed, leading to the following interaction from the players:

Someone, or something, was attempting to lead the players to a new page on Johnisdead.com. After some experimentation, the player Wolfcat finally found the correct page - "https://johnisdead.com/regiminis". This page contained text that read "I'M WAITING" and a heavily distorted video of John titled "deadjohn.webm".
Updates on Johnisdead.com continued into May 19th, 2015. The front page updated with some cryptic text - "HERE", "l_nar__il_ren", and "HP/NCLEC/ T:LAHDNOT/URIR.M". Players quickly realized that this text unscrambled to reveal the URL of a brand new website - Lunarchildren.com. For many players, this confirmed that the Lunar Children were indeed a separate cult from the Moon Children.
Lunarchildren.com was in a state of chaos, containing the following message from SKM:

Some of this text also further implies that Tyler was the players' new Link.
Meanwhile, players discovered that Key592 had also updated. The directory now contained "output.wav" - an audio file that contained morse code. This translated to "safehaven", leading players to another new page - "https://johnisdead.com/safehaven". This page contained text that read "GEOLOCATOR" and another puzzle - "/safehaven/???". This seemed to be hinting towards the existence of another page. Associating the three question marks with the three digit number they were just introduced to, the players found the answer - "https://johnisdead.com/safehaven/592". Here, the players found a chatroom where SKM was waiting for them.

SKM explains that he destroyed Tyler's harddrives. Doing this has forced Tyler to archive his videos on the internet instead, which will give the players a chance to contact him. Interestingly, he notes that Tyler had several funny Satan-related videos on his computer - as well as some relating to Max Headroom. SKM also seems to have a habit of using odd words like "drok" and "drezzed" - terms he claims he often uses with some friends.

Interestingly, Kevin was the name of one of the Moon Children from Ben Drowned. This led to some players speculating that Tyler held some connection to the cult. Perhaps he was even the same "Tyler" mentioned by Alex - the one who visited the Old Man with him in 2010. However, many of the details surrounding this theory felt somewhat contradictory and the players didn't have enough information about Tyler's past yet. Still, it was an interesting detail that they kept in the back of their minds...

The clarify, the cult that was present throughout the events of Ben Drowned was the Moon Children. They were led by an individual called Mr. D, who also went by "The Father". They worshipped the moon goddess Luna, used the website Youshouldnthavedonethat.net, and were seemingly connected to a location called The Orchard.
Meanwhile, the cult that first appeared in the YSHDT Arc was the Lunar Children. They're led by Patrem. Though Patrem is NOT Mr. D, he uses the same title - "The Father". They, too, worship Luna. However, they use the website YSHDT.com and Lunarchildren.com. Also, their headquarters is the Fishery and they have some connection to the mysterious "Spire" building.
Details surrounding these two cults and their connection to one another will become more clear over time. However, all that's needed to know for now is that they are indeed two separate groups.

The player Wolfcat asks about something mentioned by Patrem - a message for the players left by John. However, this results in drama breaking out as the player Mugen Kagemaru chides Wolfcat for revealing that their source of information was Patrem, believing that SKM would no longer trust them if he knew the players had spoken to him. (Despite the fact that SKM was already well aware that the players were frequently speaking to Patrem...) In response, SKM posted the following:

This page was titled "I'M HERE" and contained the image "hisgoal.jpg", which seemed quite similar to Patrem. This page also contained audio of strained breathing.
Shortly after its discovery, this page updated. It now featured an image of someone wearing a gas mask reaching towards the camera. This same image was used during Jadusable's ARG and further implies that this Drowned is the same Drowned found on Youshouldnthavedonethat.net. This page also contained an animated gif of the two glowing eyes spotted in one of Ryukaki's videos - an entity that many speculated to be Ben.
After a while, players began fearing that Patrem was coming. However, SKM responded with the following:
