The story so far...
In the previous section, Erika rejoined the Internet Detectives Discord server. This allowed the players to interrogate her about her exclusive Johnisdead footage. She revealed that she actually obtained the footage from the Quiet Family YouTube channel, which she implied was actually owned by Max. However, she warned that the players shouldn't try to contact him because he's supposedly very paranoid. How exactly Max's spirit ended up within the Quiet Family YouTube channel from the Bullet Necklace is a mystery...
Erika then began acting strange, deleting messages and speaking in codes. During all of this, the IIIII account began a countdown. Fearing that Erika is in danger and being censored, the players added her to the Safest Haven Discord server - something she took great pride in, believing it made her a true actualized Johnisdead player. Erika begins speaking more openly with the players. She revealed her "secret" that allows her to get "closer" to Tyler - she is a psychic. By using her psychic abilities, Erika can hear voices that whisper esoteric truths and fortunes about various different people. She then began showcasing these powers with various different characters.
Erika first used her powers on BUP, claiming that he is "On the edge of the sphere - almost in his own bubble". She also claims that BUP is "Very foreign yet very close to home." As for SKM, Erika hears many different voices speaking about him. They imply that SKM is undergoing some sort of transformation. It also seems as though SKM will eventually have some sort of frightful encounter with someone described as the "Glad One".
The players then ask about the Mannequin Entity. Erika implies that this entity is actually meant to represent Ben. She claims that the Mannequin Entity is inherently good and sweet. However, it's also been influenced and corrupted by malicious forces - not too unlike how Tenebris used Ben as a conduit. However, there may be more to the Mannequin Entity because Erika also describes it as "emanation" and an "energy sink"...
Finally, Erika is asked about the "IIIII". She describes "IIIII", or the "Five Lines", as a very complex and dynamic symbol. She likens it to the Kabbalah - likely in the sense that each "I" within "IIIII" represents a different concept - each one being closer to divinity than the one before it. Erika says that the "IIIII" can be used to represent archetypes and different "layers of being". However, they can also be used to represent individuals - as seen with the Rune Entity being "IIII" and Tenebris being "I".
Later on, Erika partook in a rather lengthy discussion about Gerard Way - the lead vocalist of My Chemical Romance. This discussion centered around various synchronicities related to both Gerard Way and Johnisdead - mainly the repeated significance of "423", "Dead", and "Drowning". Erika believes that the existence of these sorts of coincidences are a form of magic in-and-of themselves - something that was supposedly told to her by a mysterious individual whose name sounds similar to "Sink"... However, towards the end of this conversation, Erika seemingly discovered that all of her conversations were being logged on the Johnisdead Wiki. She seemed upset by this, asserting that she was not a character but instead a real person.
Meanwhile, the players contended with two new entities - WintertideDreams and HarvestMemories. While Wintertide mostly posted cryptic images of distorted assets, Harvest cryptically spoke about the past and nostalgia in general. They also seemed to put a large focus on "Weenie-Licked" - the Within Hubris-themed webcomic created by the player Wolfcat. This same webcomic had been mentioned previously throughout the ARG.
Eventually, the two entities fused into one, creating WintertideMemories. Here, it was revealed that they were both simply parts of The Producer - different layers of his own existence. He supposedly allowed them to speak with the players as a sort of test - an attempt to train the players' thinking for what's to come. According to The Producer, other entities such as "IIIII" also follow this same sort of logic - mainly in the sense that they consist of different entities representing different layers of existence - to some extent, at least.
The Producer then departs, claiming that he needs to focus on his productions. While the players were slowly beginning to understand the complex, esoteric entities that surrounded them, they still had many more trials to face before they'd obtain the complete truth...

Shortly after The Producer left the Internet Detectives Discord server on December 28th, 2019, TheLaw arrived to make an important announcement.
A tournament of souls will be held soon.
And what does that mean?
And more importantly, when?
It means the winner of such an event will have some tangible effect on the future.
Maybe tonight. Maybe tomorrow. I'm not sure when.
Whenever enough of the participants are in the same area, the battle will emerge.
I'll do my due diligence and provide some form of visible representation of the tournament.
If I may still ask, what will the tournament consist of?
The essences of the strongest spirits amongst the participants will be condensed and pit against each other.
Representations of these souls will be weaved, and locked away in an electronic prison, forced to see it through until the strongest is the only one that is left.

TheLaw announces that he will soon be conducting a "Tournament of Souls". During this tournament, representations of the players' souls will be locked inside an electronic prison and presumably fight one another. The winner of this tournament will be awarded the opportunity to have some sort of "tangible effect on the future", though what this means exactly is unknown.
On December 29th, 2019, the IIIII account became active and cryptically posted a single "I"... Shortly after this, TheLaw continued chatting with the players.

Shortly after this, TheLaw posted a link to Twitch - a streaming website mainly centered around gaming. Here, TheLaw was hosting his own livestream under an account titled "theheavyhandofthelaw". The game he was streaming was "Soul Calibur 6" - a fighting game where you could create your own custom characters.
So, to summarize... TheLaw had collected essences of the players' souls and locked them away inside an electronic prison where they will battle one another. It seemed as though Soul Calibur 6 was simply an arbitrary medium that TheLaw was using to depict this battle - it's not as though the players' souls were literally trapped within the game itself. Whoever's soul would prove itself to be the strongest would be chosen to have some sort of tangible effect on the future.

Summary
- This stream consists of nearly three hours of "Soul Calibur 6" gameplay as a representation of TheLaw's "Tournament of Souls".
- TheLaw warns that if someone is defeated too badly in-game then they might actually die in real life.
- TheLaw clarifies that the winner of the Tournament of Souls will have an opportunity to "stop the storm".
- The winner of the tournament is the player Azura.
- TheLaw conducts a variety of bonus matches as well - ones that feature characters such as Tyler, Greth, Regiminis, Alex, and even TheLaw himself.
- Tyler's character manages to defeat both Regiminis and Alex.
- TheLaw's character is defeated by Greth, causing the entire stream to suddenly end.
As explained previously, the Tournament of Souls consisted of electronic representations of the players' souls battling one another. This was represented through the game Soul Calibur 6. The stream mostly consisted of casual banter amongst the players as they watched their electronic counterparts battle one-another. However, TheLaw warned that if someone's in-game counterpart was damaged too badly then it could hurt their real-life counterparts as well...
Eventually, a winner was decided - the player Azura. As the winner of the Tournament of Souls, Azura would be given an opportunity to make some sort of significant decision at some point. According to TheLaw, this would give the players a chance to "stop the storm", as it were. Unfortunately, what this meant exactly was a bit vague... Additionally, the player Azura wasn't very active anymore. Regardless, the players seemed to have a good time.
After the main tournament ended, TheLaw conducted a series of bonus fights as well. These included representations of Tyler, Regiminis, Alex, Greth, and TheLaw himself. Tyler's representation did quite well, defeating both Regiminis and Alex. Sadly, he was later defeated by an in-game version of the YouTuber Jordi Wild... The final battle conducted was between Greth and TheLaw. Greth was ultimately the winner of this battle, causing the stream to come to an ominous and abrupt end...
One oddity that cropped up from this stream were the persistent similarities between TheLaw and the player Dawn. As a reminder, Dawn was the GM of the first arc of Johnisdead - the YSHDT Arc. When the arc came to a close, it was revealed that he was responsible for playing the roles of Helper, TheLaw, and The Man - speaking strictly in out-of-character terms, that is. While it's possible that the similarities between Dawn and TheLaw are insignificant byproducts of the player Dawn once again reprising his role behind the scenes, there are some hints that this similarity is intentional - mainly the fact that TheLaw's in-game character in the Tournament of Souls looked very similar to memetic depictions of Dawn.
Regardless of whether or not the connection between TheLaw and Dawn was intentional canon or simple coincidence due to out-of-character similarities, several players still picked up on it. However, what exactly this connection meant - if anything - was unknown. For the time being, the players simply decided to keep this information in the backs of their minds...
In the early hours of January 1st, 2020, the player Slinky welcomed the new year by submitting the "Elegy of Emptiness" twelve times in a row. This was obviously a shitpost that was made in reference to his accidental submissions in the past. However, it was dangerous nonetheless... Ominously, the "IIIII" account responded to this shortly afterwards by posting "ᛢᛢᛢᛢᛢ". Additionally, sometime around this point, Erika's avatar on Discord and YouTube changed once again:

On January 3rd, 2020, BUP finally returned after a long absence and chatted with the players.

After several months of vague-posting, BUP finally reveals his identity - he is Greth - or at least some alternate version of Greth. According to BUP, he's at least "IIII levels of Greth". This is a clear allusion to the Rune Entity somehow being an alternate version of Tyler. BUP also implies that he is somehow "All the Greths" - to some extent, at least. This explains his previous comment about somehow being a member of every version of the Internet Detectives across every timeline.
This also possibly explains the existence of the strange alternate version of "Greth" who briefly appeared and taunted the players before the Pumpkinhead Gamejack. In retrospect, that "Greth" also held many similarities to BUP - they both taunted the players, they both spoke about esoteric magical concepts, and they both toyed with meta-aspects of the ARG. Because of this, we can safely assume that BUP was also that alternate "Greth". As such, here is our current list of Greths:
- Prime Greth
- Origin: Prime Timeline
- Description: Previous friend of the players and owner of Greth Vlogs. Was involved in the "Circle of Three" and visited a pond near the Fishery. He later met Tyler and became possessed by Patrem.
- Status: Unknown. Presumably still possessed by Patrem. He was last seen confronting Tyler in 2019. BUP recently allowed a version of him from 2016 to speak through Discord.
- Moonman
- Origin: Astral Timeline
- Description: Greth's Astral Timeline. Unlike his Prime Timeline counterpart, Moonman never partook in the "Circle of Three", visited the Fishery pond, met Tyler, or become possessed by Patrem. Instead, he joined the Astral Observatory to investigate the deaths of the Astral Internet Detectives.
- Status: Safe, presumably. He was recently rescued from the Astral Observatory in mid-2019. BUP recently allowed a version of him from 2016 to speak through Discord.
- BUP
- Origin: Unknown
- Description: A malicious version of Greth who is somehow connected to every other Greth in existence. He holds a great amount of power and meta-related knowledge regarding the ARG. He also enjoys toying with the players.
- Status: Active. He's currently leading his own group of other Layered Beings in an attempt to somehow "hack reality".
The players were relieved to finally possess some information about BUP. Unfortunately, there were still many mysteries surrounding him... What was his ultimate goal exactly? What did he mean by wanting to "hack reality"? Where was his true origin? How was it possible for him to be connected to all of his alternate timeline counterparts? How did he possess so much power and information? While the players didn't have answers to any of these questions, they at least now had a foundation to stand on.
This reveal also held some interesting implications regarding the nature of BUP's Group. So far, each member seemed to hold some connection to the GM's of Johnisdead.
- BUP - Alternate version of Greth.
- The Producer - Unknown, though he often references Wolfcat's webcomic.
- TheLaw - Holds many similarities to Dawn.
- IIIII - The "Rune Entity", or "IIII", is another version of Tyler.
While many of these connections are tenuous at best, it's still worth pointing out and possibly explains how these "Layered Beings" possess meta-related knowledge and powers... Unfortunately, there wasn't much else to go on regarding this theory and what all it implied for both BUP's Group and the ARG as a whole was still unclear... Still, just like with TheLaw's similarities with Dawn, it was an interesting connection that the players decided to take note of.

SKM describes the Parallelos as rather ugly and unnatural. According to SKM, the Parallelos is quite dark. However, when viewed through a camera, it appears to be green. This matches up with the strange green-colored environments seen in recent Silentdork videos - including the location Tyler ended up in.
SKM also claims that he's still wearing his mask - presumably referring to the same gas mask he received long ago.
There is no internet connection here either, most of my devices have no use. For a man who used to like to present himself as something of a grey hat hacker, this is my personal hell XD

SKM says that he's currently set up a camp in the middle of the woods within the Parallelos. Nearby is a building that he's managed to steal an internet connection from. He speculates that the "IIIII" account must belong to whoever lives inside that building, explaining why he's currently able to speak through it. Considering the fact that SKM has spotted several runes in the area, it's likely that the individual that resides in the building is actually the Rune Entity.
Interestingly, SKM implies that he's seen multiple different people come and go from that building. However, he tries to stay away from it himself because getting too close to it gives him a headache.

Alright lads Ill admit it, I have gone a bit loopy in my solitude, even lost a good bit of memory, but I entertain no disembodied voices.

For the time being, the players simply assumed that this was an extension of her psychic powers.

Unfortunately, he was unable to make his way over to it - attempting to do so gave him a bad headache. It's possible that this "Path" is a part of the same "Paths" that Tyler will eventually be tasked with walking as they both supposedly exist within the Parallelos. SKM also claims that this "Path" seemed to have empty cars driving along it. This fits with the supposed "Path" we saw in the video "Start Life" which appeared to be a sidewalk.

SKM is shown the masked flannel-wearing entity seen in "guidance.mp4" - the same entity that Erika implied may have been Tenebris. SKM confirms that Tenebris is indeed wearing his gas mask in the image. How exactly this is possible is unknown - both SKM and Erika have expressed confusion regarding the movements of this gas mask.
This image of Tenebris reminds SKM of an encounter he had with an odd individual wearing a similar red-and-black flannel jacket... This entity spoke with many different voices and exhibited strange behaviors like walking backwards towards SKM's camp and laughing. Once this entity put on their red-and-black flannel jacket, they began attacking SKM's tent.
It's possible that this event was the so-called "frightful encounter" that SKM experienced with the "Glad One", as foretold by Erika. It's possible that this entity was actually Tenebris given their malicious behavior and similar flannel jacket...

He claims that he was running through the woods while hearing the cultists chant "IO!" repeatedly. This is a clear reference to the "ᛇ" rune - the same rune that is often used in place of "I" in reference to "IIIII" or "ᛇᛇᛇᛇᛇ" - which is often pronounced as "IO" or "EO". According to SKM, this was often chanted at ceremonies as a sort of magical exclamation.

Wolfcat convinces the player Pako to accidentally submit the "Elegy of Emptiness", causing the sky in the Parallelos to suddenly flash red... SKM claims that this happened twelve times in a row a few days prior - no doubt due to the player Slinky's Elegy spree... Unfortunately, SKM's suddenly cut off from the players - likely due to this unfortunate submission.
Though the players' conversation was cut short, they had still managed to learn quite a bit from SKM. To summarize:
SKM is indeed currently within the Parallelos. While the Parallelos naturally seems to be very dark, it takes on a distorted green look when viewed through a camera - similar to the recent footage we've seen of it on YouTube.
SKM is currently dwelling in a small camp in some woods. Nearby is a building that he's currently stealing internet from. It's implied that the "Rune Entity" actually lives inside this building due to the various runes found nearby and the fact that the "IIIII" Discord account is logged into its internet connection. Unfortunately, SKM can't get too close to this building - doing so gives him a headache. However, he's managed to spot various individuals entering and leaving the building.
Beyond the woods SKM is currently dwelling in is a large "Path" - one that looks similar to a highway with empty cars driving down it. This sounds similar to the same "Paths" that Tyler will eventually be tasked with walking - both due to their appearance of being a highway and their presence within the Parallelos. Unfortunately, SKM himself cannot reach the path - getting close to it gives him a headache.
SKM had two odd encounters within the Parallelos. The first was a girl who was seemingly speaking to him from within his mind. This girl was fairly casual and wanted to go on a walk with him. This sounds very similar to Erika. The second encounter was with a strange individual who spoke in several different voices. Given this entity's similar red-and-black flannel jacket and malicious nature, it's possible that this was Tenebris. It's also possible that this was SKM's frightful encounter with the "Glad One", as foretold by Erika.
Later that night, the IIIII account became active once again. However, SKM was no longer in control of it - it had once again returned to posting cryptic messages. This time, the IIIII account posted a link to the song "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" by The Police - specifically a moment in which the singer repeatedly says "IO!" - no doubt a reference to the magical exclamations mentioned by SKM.
Notice: Around this point, one of the ARG's former GM's returned - this time as a player. Jayckup, who formerly played the role of Tyler's friend "Jacob", had been absent from both the GM's and the playerbase for several years. He was now participating in the ARG as yet another player - "Fancypigg"

BUP reveals the game that he's chosen for the players - "Dungeons & Dragons", a classic role-playing game that involves a "Dungeon Master" - no doubt BUP himself in this case - overseeing a group of players going on fantasy adventures. BUP has created a player character for Slinky based on how he answered his questions. The character in question is named "Sam" - no relation to SKM - and they are a Earth-based humanoid who specializes in stealth.
Shortly after this, BUP created a new Discord server that was simply named "john". This server's sole purpose was to house the Dungeons & Dragons game. As such, it contained a specialized Discord bot named "Sidekick" that handled things such as dice rolls and coin flips.
Notice: These Dungeons & Dragons sessions were fairly lengthy and most of the lore within them is self-contained. If you'd rather skip them, scroll past the logs below and simply read the summaries provided in notices such as this.

There was no immediate danger in his presence, but he did notice a thick fog rolling in quick. He needed to get to town before things became too unseeable.
sure enough, the game was proceeding as a normal Dungeons & Dragons game would.

The game is overseen by the "Dungeon Master" - someone who narrates the game and gives context to the adventure at hand. BUP is fulfilling this role, setting the players down a mysterious and dangerous journey. The "Dungeon Master" isn't a literal character - it's basically the "GM" of the Dungeons & Dragons game.
The players have their own characters that they control in the game - not too unlike how they have "Links" in Johnisdead. For now, their only character is "Sam". Certain actions require dice rolls to preform. These dice rolls usually result in a number from 1 to 20 - the higher the number, the better the performance. If the number is too low, the action may fail or even backfire. These dice rolls are also effected by the stats of the characters involved. However, these details will mostly be omitted here as they aren't entirely necessary.
The mechanics and lore of the world within the Dungeons & Dragons game is mostly self-contained, so don't stress too much over keeping track of it. However, given BUP's mischievous nature, it's likely that he may use this lore to hint towards certain truths...
BUP claims that Slinky's character "Sam" is a member of a cult that worships Luna. They are currently on a sacred mission while travelling down some backroads in a location called "Ruskunne" - presumably a town. This was presumably the night of "The Great Purge, though what this meant exactly is unknown... Strangely, Sam sees a large wall of thick fog slowly rolling towards him.

The town is somewhat sparse. There is not much of a gate to speak of, and the buildings that one can see seem to be few and far between. There are homesteads connected to farms and plantations further beyond the business district. This one named Sam, however, has been given divine purpose.

Sam has managed to overcome the fog by camping through the night. He finally reaches Ruskunne, which appears to be a small farming village. However, just then, BUP suddenly revealed that dying in this game came with a rather large cost... Each time the players lost, an arc timeline is deleted from the Johnisdead Wiki - erasing the players' valuable documentation. In-game, this was interpreted as the "Library of Sam's people" burning - likening the Johnisdead Wiki to a Library of sorts.
The players nervously pressed on, wary about potentially losing more of their Wiki to BUP...

Sam recalls the holy task that was given to him - to "seek her out". Who exactly this "her" is referring to is unknown. Interestingly, this task was given to Sam by "The Father" - no doubt referencing "The Father" leader role that was often found at the head of the Moon Children and Lunar Children. It seems that whatever luna-based cult Sam was a member of also has a "Father".
Sam goes to the business district seeking for people
Sam the Genasi, acolyte of Luna, makes his way to the business district of Ruskunne. The closest gathering of free-standing huts seems to be here to indicate a market, but compared to even some of the rural ones you've seen, this is somewhat barren. There are a few stalls of trade worth noting, and a temple of prayer.

Strangely, this gash is in the shape of one of the five lines - "IIIII". However, he only has one cut for now... Ominously, the Jester breaks the fourth wall and addresses the player Slinky directly...

Sam enters the temple, the stone grey skin on his face soaking in the warm light of the candle lit hall. There is a great hearth at the end, surrounded on all sides by shrines covered in warming candles, each displaying reliefs that tell a story.

Sam enters into the nearby temple and meets a face that is quite familiar to the players - Greth. Specifically, a Dungeons & Dragons version of Greth named "Greth of Ruskunne. This version of Greth tends to the temple and seems willing to give Sam a tour.
Bemused by the odd, but interesting request, the robed man leads Sam to the first relief shrine on the wall, though, he looks somewhat dismayed.

The relief is broken. It seems to have been shattered, long ago, by some unknown intentional assailant.
Continuing on to the next relief on the wall, Greth beams proudly.
This is the beginning of our Order as I now know it. A long time ago we founded ourselves as the opposition to a heretical religious order known as the Lunar Children... one of our own, in fact, was the focus of our early efforts and a large part of our formation.
Sam interrupts greth for a second and after apologizing for this act, asked if he was the father of this order

Greth of Ruskunne reveals that he's a member of a religious order called the "Inquisitorius Penitus". This seems to be a clear allusion to the "Internet Detectives". Additionally, it's implied that the Luna-worshipping cult that Sam belongs to is indeed the "Lunar Children". This means that Greth and Sam are actually enemies - though Greth was currently unaware of Sam's status as a Lunar Child...
Greth begins showing Sam a series of relief shrines that retell the history of the "Inquisitorius Penitus". As expected, this all mirrors the history of the "Internet Detectives" with each relief seemingly mirroring an arc on the Johnisdead Wiki.

Sam is led to a small bedchamber, meant to be shared amongst different cots for the devout of the Temple, however it seems quite empty. There is a small fire going and all the space one could need to sleep.
It seems as though the Dungeons & Dragons "Lunar Children" holds quite a few similarities with the real one - mainly in the sense that they are led by someone named "Patrem" and threaten the world with some sort of calamity involving Luna. These all seem to be rather important events in the world - so much so that Sam comes off as rather suspicious for not knowing about it... Thankfully, he manages to convince Greth that he's simply suffering from amnesia. Greth then prepares a dorm for Sam to sleep in for the night.

As Sam rests his eyes, it is none too long before his it taken in his dreams by the nightmarish visage of some young child, frozen in a manufactured glee. A mournful sounding song begins to pick up in volume in the space between reality and time, the world of dreams, shaking his cranium with the tenacity needed to give concussions. The track is clicking, like it's in the reverse. The face of the doll child screems, lips unmoving. It forces a hand into Sam's mouth, he is unable to react. Two fingers slide down his throat, burying into his stomach, planting roots. He can feel the spread of evil erupting within.

As Sam falls asleep in the temple, he has a nightmare that seemingly involves Tenebris - or at the very least the Elegy Statue. The entity places some sort of corruption within Sam, adding a second cut onto his arm - "II". What exactly these cuts symbolize or amount to outside of "IIIII" is unknown... Strangely, when Sam awakens, he now seems to be in a completely new environment - a forest...

As Sam makes his way out of the clearing he finds himself in, he makes note of his surroundings. Deep forest, as mentioned. There is a running pond with some clear indication of water nearby. The forest is lively, and covered with moss and plant life. Sam stumbles upon a medallion.

Sam crests over a small hill covered in dead forest debris and particulate. Using the pile of leaves and branches that raises a foot above the natural earthen flooring, Sam slides underneath the pile, and looks at the opening past the treeline where the sound came from. Silent, empty. Calm now, even. You'd found the larger pond and waterfall that you sought before, but aside from the ripples clearing from the water's surface and the falling of emerald and ruby leaves, there was no sight or sound to behold.
Sam finds a strange medallion on the ground - that that presumably would have allowed for a different player to take control. However, the player Slinky continues playing for now. As Sam explores the woods, he suddenly hears a scream. He follows the scream and finds an eerie lake in the middle of a forest clearing.

There is a stillness surrounding Sam, when suddenly an icy cold grip grasps his ankle. Craggy, slimy, barnacle covered finger fastened tight on, thin and gangly, yet unbelievably strong. He can see a face take shape, a skinny male face with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. It begins to laugh, the goatee seperating the lips line, teeth enlarging into inhuman canines. The flesh of the face begins to peel away, as if burned in a fire.

However, this quickly forms into the face of a burning man with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a goatee. This is clearly meant to represent John, meaning that "??" may actually symbolize Tenebris himself... Regardless, the oily substance begins to overtake Sam. As this happens, the players earn their third cut - "III".

Interestingly, but bus features a familiar face - Tyler. There is also another student present as well - Erik. It's likely that this individual is actually meant to represent the player Wolfcat, whose real name is also Erik.

Yugi asks Sam if he received his package, but Sam isn't entirely sure what he's talking about... This is possibly referring to the Crescent Moon Necklace in his pocket.
Sam then goes to sit down next to Erik. However, Erik seems very nervous and instead pretends that Sam isn't there... Additionally, the three cuts from before are still on Sam's arm.

Within the context of this Dungeons & Dragons game, the "Astral Observatory" acts as a hub of sorts - a centralized location where players can travel to the different places they've visited so far. This is done through three separate "Dream Bubbles" - presumably each of these bubbles links to each of the three scenarios so far:
- Sam, the acolyte, exploring the town and temples of Ruskunne.
- Sam, an explorer, exploring a forest with a mysterious lake.
- Sam, a student, travelling to school in a distorted reality.
Interestingly, BUP refers to this first incarnation of Sam - the acolyte - as "Sam's I". It can be assumed that Sam in the forest and Sam the student are Sam's "II" and "III" respectively, implying that each incarnation of Sam is actually a different "layer" of him. This seems fairly consistent with how the five lines - "IIIII" - is said to operate. However, this isn't to imply that Sam has anything to do with the actual "IIIII" account - this is simply a fabricated character that seems to follow similar logic.

Unfortunately, before Sam could reach Yuukichan, he's suddenly pulled back into one of the Dream Bubbles - specifically the one featuring a forest and the mysterious lake.

The player Slinky has to depart. Thankfully, BUP allows another player to take over - Xenquility. BUP once again conducts a basic QnA to create another player character. The result is "Max". Just like with "Sam", this "Max" has no connection with the actual canon character named Max - this is simply a fabricated player character that exists for the sole purpose of playing this Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
Max awakes in a cold sweat. The pale moon reflecting off his dark, drow skin as it beams through the window of the inn. He had been on the trail of his mark for some time now.
Peering out the window, he can see a fog rolling into town.
A sudden pounding on the door splits the still air. The elf can easily make out the shadow of someone looming outside his door. One could only guess.
Ye awake, sir? Trouble's a brewin'.

Max awakens in an inn belonging to yet another incarnation of Greth - "Innsman Greth". Greth warns Max that a rebel group will soon be attacking the town. However, Max can't flee - he's an assassin who's been tasked with killing the leader of these rebels.
This seems to be taking place in the same reality as the first Dream Bubble - the world that featured "Ruskunne". We can assume this because the rebel group in question is the "Inquisitorius Penitus", or as it's sometimes called, "The I D of ----------" - further cementing the fact that the Inquisitorius Penitus is symbolic for the Internet Detectives. Since Max has been tasked with killing the leader of the Inquisitorius Penitus, it can be assumed that he is also allied with the Lunar Children - much like Sam before him.
You begin to hear the sounds of screaming, and the faint scent of burning wood drifts under your nostrils.

As you ponder your next move, something catches your eye on the other side of the street. Across from you, beyond the creature, is a girl. A young girl, you've never seen before, with short black hair, and some sort of purple hooded cloak you've never seen before.
She sees you notice her and takes off.
As soon as Max steps outside, he's immediately ambushed by an entity simply named "???". This creature is described as a black void with two glowing eyes. Its head is also said to be shaped like a pointed hood that then transforms into a set of ears... Interestingly, this perfectly matches Yuukichan's description of "Pumpkinhead" from 2019. As a reminder, Yuukichan posted several images of a dark, hooded entity that she later claimed was connected with jack-o-lanterns.

It's possible that the players were finally going to encounter the "true" Pumpkinhead - not to be confused with the fabrication created by the player Wolfcat during Halloween.
Speaking of Yuukichan, she suddenly appears once again - this time to inform the players to "find the idol". What exactly this is referring to is unknown, though...

Max fires an arrow at "???", but it misses. The entity then creates a massive, growing rift in the ground that begins swallowing up the entire village. Thankfully, Max manages to escape. However, before the game can proceed, BUP steps in and pauses the game for the night - presumably to be continued at a later date. However, before logging off fully, BUP posts an image of the entity the players had just faced:
This was indeed the same creature that Yuukichan had warned the players about back in 2019 - one that they can only assume is the TRUE "Pumpkinhead".
The first session of the Dungeons & Dragons game had come to a close. To summarize all of the events that had taken place:
Summary: The Dungeons & Dragons campaign involved three separate worlds - a medieval one that featured fantasy-versions of the Lunar Children and Internet Detectives, a strange forest with a mysterious lake, and a contemporary high-school with a broken reality. These different worlds were contained in "Dream Bubbles" that could be accessed from a main hub called the "Astral Observatory".
The players' in-game characters, Sam and Max, held no relation to the actual Sam and Max - they simply shared the same names. Instead, these characters had unique backstories depending on which "Dream Bubble" they were currently in. Interestingly, performing certain actions within these "Dream Bubbles" caused cuts to manifest in the characters' arms - cuts that were reminiscent of the five lines - "IIIII". Currently, Sam only had three cuts on his arm. While the point of these cuts aren't entirely understood, the players believe that they need to obtain all five cuts.
Several familiar faces are encountered within the Dungeons & Dragons game. Some of these just seem to be references - such as the appearance of the Greth, Yugi, the Elegy Statue, and John. However, one individual who is probably real is Yuukichan, who appears to be trapped within the game. Cryptically, she warns the players that they need to "find the idol". The players also encounter "Pumpkinhead" - presumably the REAL Pumpkinhead, not the fabrication created by Wolfcat around Halloween. As a reminder, these images of the "Real" Pumpkinhead depicted him with a body consisting of glowing eyes and a head shaped like a pointed hood.

On January 20th, 2020, BUP returned to continue the Dungeons & Dragons game.
Notice: Around this same time, the Silentdork account began experiencing some strange updates. Additionally, a familiar face from several years prior returned to chat with the players... However, this will be covered in the next chapter. For now, we'll continue focusing on the Dungeons & Dragons game.

The player Xenquility is immediately contacted by Yuukichan, who cryptically mentioned some sort of statue and pathway. She says that the players must "find the dream" within her. Unfortunately, she's unable to reveal where the pathway to do this is located...
The players are then offered a package from BUP. Strangely, the player Wolfcat attempts to prevent this... However, it seemingly occurs regardless, resulting in the players being granted a "Figuring of Wondrous Power: Silver Raven" - a Raven Figurine that possesses the ability to transform into an actual Raven companion and converse with the players.

There is indeed a fog. The fog tends to close in around you, covering most of your view... until you realize something on your person is creating a small amount of light.
If it's the raven, use it.
Otherwise, still take it out
It is indeed, or rather, there is a small rune on the bottom side of the raven that is exerting a magic torchlight. This luminescence would be mistaken for white, but if one pays attention to the outer edges of the dispersing rays, they would note they actually change colors. This light cuts a path through the fog.
What does the rune look like?
The rune's edges are slightly worn away, and it is difficult to see in the light. There are six points and some symbol in the center.

Max finds himself alongside a foggy countryside trail. This implies that he's in the first "Dream Bubble" - the medieval land featuring Ruskunne. As the fog begins nearing Max, he notices that the Raven Figurine possesses a rune on its bottom that seems to be emitting light. BUP then provides an image of this rune:
This "rune" is actually the Amiibo logo. For context, Amiibos are small figurines sold by Nintendo that depict various different videogame characters. Interestingly, these Amiibos can be connected to videogames to unlock additional content and bonuses. This seems to imply that the Raven Figurine itself is an Amiibo... However, what exactly it contains - if anything - is unknown.

As you slowly approach the outline of the creature, you recognize the form to be human in shape. As you enter the area where the fog would lift away, however, the form disappears with the mist.

While the fog does not seem to be actively killing Max this time around, it's heavily obscuring his vision... Thankfully, the Raven Figurine is managing to dissipate it a bit and help Max navigate his surroundings. However, it seems as though he isn't alone - a mysterious figure is lurking in the fog just beyond the edge of Max's vision...

A Raven of pure light escape the figurine, squawking as it rams into your body. The spirit that possessed you has been rocked, letting you successfully attempt another charisma save. The spirit (?) is dislodged.
The figurine slips from your grip and falls to the ground. The blackess around you begins to pour itself into the miniature, almost like a bath tub drain, removing all the dark energy from around you. As the fog around you dissipates and the night path becomes clearer, the sun begins to peak over the horizon.
The dark energy has infected the figurine!

While wandering through the fog, an unknown entity suddenly speaks to Max. This entity warns that many others who are currently seeking Max's prize. It's possible that this "prize" is referring to the Raven Figurine. The entity then demands that Max "bring it out of here". Just then, Max is cast into a dark, inky void.
After wandering through the void, Max eventually comes across the same entity that was following him in the fog - a child-like silhouette. As he observes the entity, it suddenly possesses Max, killing him. However, the player Xenquility manages to save him by using the Raven Figurine, which emits a Raven of pure light that enters into Max's body. The dark entity is dislodged from Max, but its dark energy proceeds to infect the Raven Figurine...
Summary: This Dungeons & Dragons campaign mainly featured the first "Dream Bubble" - the medieval land that featured fantasy-versions of the Lunar Children and Internet Detectives - as well as the town of Ruskunne. However, before it started properly, the players were contacted by Yuukichan, who told them to find her dream within her. What this meant exactly is unknown... Shortly afterwards, the players are granted a "package" - a Raven Figurine. Strangely, the player Wolfcat seemingly didn't want this to happen.
The campaign continues with Max exploring the same foggy path as before. Though the fog is thick, Max manages to slowly press through it by using the Raven Figurine. The bottom of the figurine has an "Amiibo" symbol on it that seems to emit light... Max is eventually given a warning that there are many who seek his "prize" - presumably referring to the Raven Figurine. Just then, he's sent into a dark void.

A strange new entity begins speaking to the players, questioning why they're continuing BUP's Dungeons & Dragons game. The players claim that they're seeking information. Unfortunately, this entity isn't able to provide many answers - they only know as much as they're meant to know - almost as though they're little more than a tool. This entity then reveals its name - Munnin, the Raven. Likely based off of one of Odin's raven companions of the same name, Munnin is presumably the "Raven Spirit" that was contained within the Raven Figurine. However, due to the dark energy infecting the figurine during the last Dungeons & Dragons session, Munnin is now infected as well...

It seems that while the story taking place within the Dungeons & Dragons game is obviously fictional, Yuukichan's presence within it is not. As such, Munnin tells the players to once again try and save her because there are "monsters" present who are after her.

Munnin implies that his figurine acts as a "shrine" of sorts - a "shrine" that's capable of housing spirits. Eventually, the players will be tasked with bringing the Raven Figurine from the Dungeons & Dragons game into the real world. How exactly this will be accomplished is a mystery, though...
Once the players have brought the Raven Figurine into the real world, they'll be expected to enter it. However, doing this will require them to utilize the "Rune" on the bottom of the statue - the Amiibo symbol - and doing so will require the use of a certain tool. This might suggest that this real life Raven Figurine may actually hold some Amiibo functionality...

Munnin reiterates that the events and mechanics witnessed within the Dungeons & Dragons campaign is a complete fabrication. However, Yuukichan's presence within it is very real. The players' main goal is to rescue Yuukichan and possibly free her spirit from Astralobservatory.net.
In order to do this, the players will have to somehow utilize the Raven Figurine. In its current state, the Raven Figurine is still corrupted. However, the players will be given an opportunity to transfer this figurine from the Dungeons & Dragons campaign into the real world. Once the players physically possess the Raven Figurine, they'll be able to enter into it. However, doing this will require using the rune found on the bottom of the figurine - the Amiibo symbol. This implies that the Raven Figurine may possess some real-world Amiibo functionality...
Munnin implies that the sole reason for his existence is to assist the players in rescuing Yuukichan. He also warns that there are many enemies who also wish to possess him - some of whom are watching the players at this very moment.

You two find yourselves amongst trees and brush. The terrain is uneven with sticks, twigs, branches, and rotting logs. The ground is moist is moss and lightly rotten vegetation, a sickly sweet scent, like honey, filling the air. You two have never met, and are only now aware of yourself in this moment. A fog begins to roll in.

The Raven statue does put out a light, but the glow is a much weaker one and the color is rather dim violet than burning bright. The fogs seems to circle a few feet around you two.
Does that statue keep it at bay?
The statue seems to keep the fog at arm's length, though not much. The weak light coming from it does not also help much as a torch, although while the atmosphere is somewhat grey, it is not dark.
Flint would like to try to peer through the fog to find shelter in this swampy place, staying close to Max.

Max is able to see beyond the thicker parts of the mist, and realizes they were already on a path when they were drawn into these mysterious woods. Following the path with his eyes, he realizes they're actually less than 25 meters from what he would assume is a building of some sort, although the blanket of water hanging in the air made it difficult to truly tell.

You are able to successfully walk on the forest path. As you both inch your way closer to perceived building, you quickly realize while it is shelter, it is not a building at all, but a large tree with some sort of entryway carved inside. The tree was quite massive, seemingly impossibly so.

The session kicks off with the players Xenquility and otherLiam taking control of Max and Flint. They appear to once again be in the first "Dream Bubble" - the medieval world that featured Ruskunne. Here, they carefully travel along a path surrounded by the dangerous fog from before. Thankfully, they manage to make their way over to some shelter - a massive tree that contains a hollowed-out entryway.

You have heard ancient tales of an old forest where travelers suddenly find themselves. Those lost within never intended to find themselves there, and few ever make it out alive. Some have said there is a giant, ancient tree within and that some artifact of great power rests within. None who try can intentionally find this forest.
It is believed that while the actual concept of what the artifact is, being knowledge lost to time, it is that very object that choose those who find themselves in those woods.
I recall a legend of a forest like this. It makes reference to this tree. While I wouldn't put my trust in the hands of tall tales, there is said to be an artifact of great power within here.

Not that I know of, but I still think we should enter with caution. It's not unusual for tales like these to be weaved to fool people like us.

You both enter, Max taking the time to make a mostly silent approach.
What you see before you is a great circular hall, built within the inside of the tree. There is a pathway going upwards, around the walls-- or rather, the inside of the carved out trunk-- with some gaps where the work was either unfinished or has decayed away. There is also spiderwebs visible in several areas around the room. The darkness is thick here, and the space is quite large, so the pathway disappears after some height.
You both have darkvision, so any immediate darkness is of no concern.
The massive tree in-front of Flint and Max is eerily similar to the "Great Deku Tree" - the first dungeon found within "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time". This tree was also a massive structure that contained an inner twisting path, large gaps, and spiderwebs. However, in this Dungeons & Dragons game, this tree supposedly contains some sort of magical treasure. This treasure is somehow responsible for Max and Flint finding themselves lost in the forest - almost as if it were sentient and calling to them...
How large are the unfinished gaps?

I wouldn't say the Eldritch are my favourite by any means but they can't be any worse than the beings I've interacted with that call themselved 'Divine'.
You blast away at the webbing with some Eldritch Blasts, but the pact-lightning seems to have little effect.
Flint glares at Max, being a deeply religious man. He also appears irritated by the magic’s lack of effectiveness.
This is no ordinary webbing. We should tread cautiously - whatever spun this may still be around.
That's by all means not a bad idea. I haven't liked this place since the time I woke up in a deadly fog.

Cautious observation after tooling around with the material has given you both an understanding of the webbing. The same webbing is thickly covering other areas of this tree. While it seems to be magic resistant, it's resistance to blades is only due to elasticity, and it seems with enough force or tension, one could tear it.
It is also likely not flame resistant.
The spot on the floor is thick and broad with the webbing that covers the entire hole, which is at least large enough for several grown men to stand on.
Is there any sort of large, heavy object in here? Like some ruined furniture or something?

The wood is fairly damp. The tree itself is dead, and so the wood has slowly been given over to fungi, moss, and vines that are creeping their way up.

The bottled flask is throw against the floor next to the webbing and smashes, spreading a torrent of flame into hole. The alchemist fire does the job, and the threads singe away quickly. The silken rope vaporizes too quickly to heat up the surrounding wood, and the opening is successfully cleared.

Flint is unable to see all the way down the hole, but Max, having Superior Darkvision, is quite able to see to the bottom. Further mirroring the "Great Deku Tree", the center of the main room contains a large pit covered by a strong spider web. Though Flint and Max are unable to cut through it, they eventually manage to burn it away, revealing a large drop into a deep underground lake. However, instead of jumping in, they take the safer route and begin travelling up the tree's inner pathways.
The actual first portion of this pathway has already given way. The only accessible ways up are vines growing upside the structure, or a simple affixed ladder off to the side.

The spider-like creatures are not actually that close to the chest, more that they are further up the path. They do not seem to currently take not of your presence.

You open the chest hesitantly, but are glad to find nothing more than a rolled up scroll of paper.

Here, they spot a chest - as well as several spider-like creatures further up the path - most likely the same "Skullwalltula" enemies that are present in the actual "Ocarina of Time" version of this dungeon. Within the chest is a map that confirms that this is indeed the "Great Deku Tree".

Well that can’t be good
Flint and Max begin fighting the Skullwalltulas nearby. Due to some clever strategizing and lucky rolls, they're able to defeat half of them and scare off the others. However, the game is abruptly paused once again - presumably by Munnin himself. He claims that "The enemy" is currently watching the Dungeons & Dragons game and that the players must wait for them to leave...
Summary: This Dungeons & Dragons session was multiplayer. While the player Xenquility continued playing as Max, the player otherLiam joined in with a new character - Flint. The two once again found themselves in the first "Dream Bubble" - the medieval land that contained Ruskunne. The two were once again surrounded by a dangerous fog. While the Raven Figurine was able to keep it at bay, it wasn't as powerful as it was several nights before - no doubt due to the dark energy that had infected it.
The two quickly found shelter in a massive, hollowed-out tree. It quickly became apparent that this tree was actually the "Great Deku Tree" - the first dungeon found in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The two quickly found a hole that led down into the tree's deeper chambers. However, they instead decided to climb upwards along the tree's interior paths instead. Here, the found a map of the tree - as well as several Skullwalltulas - spider-like creatures that clung to walls.

The "leak" is a screenshot of a Discord conversation. In this chat, someone can be seen posting the following:
This video was incredibly short and simply contained footage of an object slowly moving in-front of the camera. However, shortly after its upload, the video's title and description changed to the following:

Interestingly, this conversation is centered around Vincent - presumably the same Vincent who was the Overseer of the Lunar Children and an unknowing host for Patrem. Vincent hadn't been heard from in quite some time - it was assumed that he had died alongside the other Lunar Children during the 2016 Cataclysm. However, this newfound mention of him and also the existence of a mysterious upload on his YouTube channel in 2017 may suggest that he's still alive...
What exactly is being discussed here is a mystery. It seems to be some sort of plan involving both versions of Vincent from the Astral Timeline and Prime Timeline. It claims that Vincent should be "Aggregated". The term "Aggregation" has come up several times in the past, though its true meaning is still unknown... Given the fact that the typical meaning of the word "Aggregate" is to "Merge multiple things together", it's possible that this term holds similar meanings in this context as well. This could imply that it's possible to merge multiple versions of the same person from two separate timelines into one entity... However, the specifics surrounding this and how it relates to Vincent is unknown. Additionally, this message features a strange, cut-off word - one that ends in "-atron"... Sadly, it's impossible to discern what this full word actually is.
In this same screenshot, another message could be found below - a message that seemed to be from the "IIIII" account.

This message seems to be completely out-of-character, implying that BUP had somehow leaked a message from the GM's themselves - assuming this isn't all some sort of trick, that is... Regardless, it wouldn't be too unfathomable given BUP's habit of toying with meta-related aspects of the ARG.
Either way, the message itself is quite interesting - it implies that "Janus Rooms" may be making a return. This is a reference to JanusVR - the virtual reality web browser that was briefly used back in 2015 to explore webpages in the form of 3D environments such as Fakeworld. Strangely, the message also mentions Alex Hall's dad, implying that Jadusable himself may somehow be involved with the ARG - to some extent, at least...
Or, yet again, this could all simply be a ploy from BUP himself. These messages were so vague and lacking in any sort of context that it's possible they were leaked by BUP for the sole purpose of spreading more confusion. For now, all the players could do was speculate...

Reality suddenly begins to break down around Flint and Max - not too unlike what occurred back in the third "Dream Bubble" during the first Dungeons & Dragons session. However, this even seems to be effecting the Dungeon Master to some extent - and perhaps even BUP himself...
While all of this was taking place, some players were also active in a community Minecraft server than by the Internet Detectives. Surprisingly, Munnin himself appeared within this Minecraft server and began chatting with the players.

This may suggest that Munnin himself is responsible for this skip in reality - or is at the very least attempting to save the players from its consequences.

With The Producer in charge, the Dungeons & Dragons game had taken a drastic shift. Firstly, Max and Flint had now been warped to one of the other "Dream Bubbles" - specifically the third one that featured a contemporary high school setting. Secondly, the campaign was now formatted like a webcomic - specifically the player Wolfcat's comic "Weenie-Licked". This is fitting because The Producer was implied to hold some connection to this webcomic previously...
Now on a school bus, Max and Flint decide to sit next to Tyler. Judging by the depiction of Tyler in the comic panel, it seems as though this is indeed the same Tyler that the players are familiar with.

Interestingly, he claims that he had just recently visited a convention that was rather "eye-opening". What exactly this is referring to is unknown, though... The players then attempt to conduct a dice roll and use some of their Dungeons & Dragons skills. Unfortunately, they're unable to - it seems as though all of the Dungeons & Dragons mechanics have been replaced with Weenie-Licked ones...
Tyler suddenly realizes that the bus is nearing his stop. He gets up and departs, leaving the bus.

Once they reach Erik's seat, he seems to be missing. In his place is a "Nine of Clubs" card - not too unlike the "Eight of Clubs" card that was handled by Mason and IsocelesAssassin back in 2015. The significance of this is unknown.
Next to the card is a bottle with some sort of wisp-like energy inside of it... This is likely meant to be a reference to the "Poe in a Bottle" - an item from the Legend of Zelda series that consists of a spirit trapped within a glass bottle. Max reaches out to touch the bottle. As soon as he does so, Pumpkinhead briefly flashes on screen and the comic abruptly ends.
Afterwards, The Producer began speaking with the players directly. This also gave the players the first look at his true form - a static-looking entity wearing casual clothes and a hat.

The Producer gives the players another short pep-talk, ensuring them that answers to their questions indeed exist - they simply haven't found all the relevant pieces yet. The players' main concern seems to be who exactly The Producer, TheLaw, and BUP truly are and how they operate. In response to this, The Producer simply reiterates that he works alongside them and that the players have met BUP and The Law in the past - and also the fact that BUP consists of many different "layers" and incarnations of Greth.
It was around this point that the players began speculating that The Producer may follow the same pattern of BUP's Group mirroring the ARG's GMs. Considering that BUP was connected to Greth, IIII was connected to Tyler, and TheLaw was connected to Dawn, all of the signs seemed to be pointing towards the idea that The Producer was connected to Wolfcat. Not only did The Producer often post references to Wolfcat's webomic - he had also just perfectly emulated it during the Dungeons & Dragons game. Additionally, The Producer's own visual depiction of himself seemed to be very reminiscent of Wolfcat, who was often seen wearing similar hats.
Before The Producer could share more information, BUP suddenly returned and told him to leave. BUP, seemingly enraged at both revealing unintended information earlier and the derailment of his game, proceeded to rant at the players. Here, he confirmed that the Raven Figurine is indeed meant to represent an Amiibo - an Amiibo that's specifically going to house something important at some point - possibly even Yuukichan herself, as so much of this Dungeons & Dragons campaign seemed to center around moving her spirit somewhere safe... Interestingly, BUP also claims that the reason why he antagonizes the players so much is because his very existence depends on it - though he does not elaborate on how exactly this works...

Max touches the bottle, causing Pumpkinhead to briefly flash on-screen as the game comes to an end.
Shortly after this, Munnin briefly continued chatting with the players back in the Minecraft server.

"We are safe for now. Can someone awaken from a dream they don't wish to wake up? Perhaps the one who must be woken is far from here... But they exist in III. They are III. She is III. Not the only one. Beware IIII, he tricks you now. Takes. Weaker... Getting weaker. Goodbye for now. Please keep me safe."
Munnin ponders about the existence of someone's dreams and the desire to wake them up. Who exactly he's referring to is unknown, however. Strangely, he seemingly uses "III" in the place of "sleep" and "dreams", claiming "She is III". While this is seemingly referencing Yuukichan, this does not mean that Yuukichan herself is THE "III" entity within "IIIII". Instead, this most likely means that Yuukichan herself is sleeping and dreaming - much like how she implied during the Dungeons & Dragons game. While Yuukichan herself is not the "III" entity - whatever that may consist of - this does imply that "III" is related to sleep and dreams.
Likewise, Munnin claims that "IIII" is currently attempting to trick the players. Again, this is likely not referencing THE "IIII" entity - the Rune Entity. Instead, it's probably referring to BUP, as he previously claimed he was about "IIII layers of Greth".
Just to clarify - Yuukichan is NOT the "III" entity and BUP is NOT the "IIII" entity. It's likely that Munnin was simply using the five line symbolism in this conversation to refer to the various concepts represented within it. As a reminder, the different lines within the five lines can seemingly symbolize both specific individuals as well as concepts and archetypes.
Afterwards, Munnin tells the players to keep him safe. He then gives them a special item in the Minecraft server - a bird egg - before going silent once again.
