Luna is a powerful moon goddess worshipped by both the Moon Children and the Lunar Children. While she is depicted as an elegant, beautiful woman by the various cults that worship her, she instead seems to be more akin to an eldritch being in reality. It is believed that Luna dwells within a special location in the Parallelos referred to as 'Luna's Realm' or 'The Fourth Realm'.

Story
The exact nature of Luna isn't exactly known, as both the Lunar Children and Moon Children have their own interpretations of her. It seems likely that neither of their beliefs are correct, as it has been shown that Luna is actually an eldritch being of sorts rather than a benevolent goddess. Regardless, the Lunar Children believe that Luna is responsible for the creation of the universe - or rather, she is responsible for how we perceive it as it currently is. Before Luna approached mankind, humans were lost within the void of the Parallelos in a chaotic existence. One day, Luna made her presence known with a flash of lightning and created the Overworld.
On the first day, Luna created the Earth and the elements. On the first night, Luna bestowed upon man the first of the Three Silver Secrets - the Secret of Power, which taught man how to utilize the elements she created. On the second day, Luna created walls and barriers to create the various Parallelos separated, giving order to the world. On the second night, Luna gave man the second of the Three Silver Secrets - the Secret of Wisdom, which taught man the rules of their reality and how to eventually step beyond it. On the third day, Luna showed man Ascension and the Absque Fascie. This drained Luna of her power, however, resulting in her falling to the ground. She was assisted by four devout individuals. She thanked these four followers and ascended them - presumably transforming them into the original Four Giants. After this, Luna departed to her own special realm within the Parallelos.
The Lunar Children also believe that Luna visited Earth once again in more recent times to bestow holy knowledge of ascension to a human male. The two also bore a child together. This passing of knowledge also resulted in the creation of Tenebris, however - an act that was said to have been a necessary counterbalance of light and dark. It is implied that this tale in particular is actually a retelling of Hank Hubbard hearing Luna's whispers in 1998 while he was still going by the name Kelbris and how his son Ben was later used as Tenebris's conduit.
Outside of these tales, Luna is rarely seen being active. She supposedly whispers to those who are slated to transcend into one of the Four Giants, as both Hank and Doug believed to be hearing her speaking before later transcending. In 2010, Kelbris attacked Rosa by thrusting her into the Parallelos. Here, she witnessed Luna's true eldritch form. This sight horrified her and somehow awakened some sort of prophetic powers within her.
Personality
Due to her enigmatic nature, Luna's personality is difficult to discern. In the Lunar Children's tales, she is a loving yet authoritative entity. In reality, she appears to be more of a manipulative, malicious beast.
