Rosa is a friendly character who has appeared sporadically throughout Johnisdead. First introduced as Mat's sister, Rosa was later revealed to have gained prophetic powers after being thrust into the Parallelos by Patrem. Despite being trapped within the Parallelos, she still assists the players alongside Jeremy Jarvis.
Story
Not much is known about Rosa's early childhood. At some point, she and her biological brother, Mat, were moved to an orphanage. The two were separated in 1990 when Mat was adopted by Hank and Diana Hubbard. It wouldn't be until the mid-2000's when the two would finally reunite. By this point, Mat had joined the Moon Children cult and killed Hank, who had neglected him in favor of his biological son Ben. Rosa joined the Moon Children as well, though she was not a core member - she was merely associated with the cult so she could be with her brother once again.[1]
By September of 2010, Mat had risen through the ranks of the cult and become a moderator on their website, Youshouldnthavedonethat.net. While preparing for a party that was to take place on September 19th, Mat was approached by Kelbris - the transcended version of Hank. Mat was infused with Lunar Children knowledge and Tenebris's will, resulting in him killing off most of the other Moon Children. Kelbris then came for Rosa. During this time, Rosa managed to contact Kayd Hendricks and ask him for help. She also gave him a part of the login information needed to access The Truth page on Youshouldnthavedonethat.net. Instead of killing her, Kelbris thrusted Rosa into the Parallelos, where she witnessed Luna. This was a terrifying sight that scarred Rosa. However, it also seemingly granted her prophetic abilities.
From this point onwards, Rosa would occasionally assist the players by using her prophetic abilities. The first instance of this was when she approached Mason in 2009 and offered both him and the players a fortune. Though this took place in 2009 - one year before she gained her prophetic abilities, it is possible she was perceiving these events from the year 2015, just as the players were. Rosa's next appearance was later in 2015, when she contacted the players on Johnisdead.com. Here, she briefly explained what had happened to her after she was attacked by Kelbris. She also warned the players about The Four Giants and claimed that Tyler would meet Doug the next day.
In 2016, Rosa reappeared during Youshouldnthavedonethat.net's return. During this time, she continued speaking from the present rather than 2010 like many other Moon Children were. Rosa was now joined in the Parallelos by Jeremy Jarvis, who had entered into it after being killed by his son Hunter Jarvis.[2] Rosa would occasionally contact the players via Mat's email, warning them about Kevin's two-faced nature and malicious intent regarding "The Truth" page. Rosa has not been heard from since 2016. It is likely she still remains in the Parallelos with Jeremy.
Personality
Rosa seems to have a very dry personality, not often showing much emotion. She speaks with great importance and urgency most of the time. These traits are understandable, considering what she has witnessed within the Parallelos. She is not completely emotionless, however, showing regret for her brother's fate and contempt towards Kevin.
Rosa
She learned (what I think may have been 4 years ago for whoever sees this message the first time) the nature of herself and this world. But rather than accept her revelation her brother cast her aside again during the cataclysms. I think a large part of what she became rolled into where I am now XD
