The Jaeger is an enigmatic antagonist who first appeared during the Astral Arc of Johnisdead. First dubbed "The Watcher" by the players, the identity and goals of The Jaeger are currently unknown. They seem to have targeted both Greth and Moonman in the past and wish to incite some sort of important aggregation.
Story
On May 4th, 2018, Greth began uploading videos to a new YouTube channel - Greth Vlogs. While these videos initially seemed to be simple daily vlogs, players quickly began noticing strange oddities within them. On May 7th, The Jaeger appeared for the first time in the video happy birthday. At the time, players were unaware of their name so they simply called them "The Watcher". The Jaeger would continue occasionally appearing within videos on the Greth Vlogs channel - usually in the form of brief cuts in the footage or in video glitches. Once Patrem took control of Greth on October 11th, video uploads slowed down and The Jaeger stopped appearing as frequently.
On October 24th, 2020, Moonman began contacting the players via video uploads on Greth Vlogs. Moonman was now in a similar position to Greth - seemingly trapped in his own home while being haunted by The Jaeger. On November 10th, The Jaeger themselves seemingly uploaded a video to Greth Vlogs in the form of MOONMAN'S RECKONING. This video was disguised as a message from Moonman asking the players to forget about him. The next day, The Jaeger left a threatening video directed towards the players and Moonman on Silentdork - Abduction. After this, The Jaeger joined the Astral Observatory Forums and informed the players that Moonman was now completely in their possession and would soon be aggregated.
Fortunately, the players managed to help Moonman escape The Jaeger with the submission of SAVING MOONMAN.mp4, which teleported him to the safety of IsocelesAssassin's home. Moonman did not remain there long, however. After discovering that BUP could potentially possess him and harm his friends, Moonman departed, not wanting any harm to befall his friends. After this, The Jaeger could be seen stalking Moonman from the shadows once again.
Personality
Not much is known about The Jaeger's personality, as they've rarely been speaking. They appear to be very cold and calculated, occasionally going out of their way to cruelly taunt the players.
