Wolfcat is a prominent player who has participated in Johnisdead for the majority of its run. Joining the Internet Detectives in 2015, Wolfcat has been present through many important events throughout the ARG. Over time, he eventually became a GM of the ARG and began assisting in its production.
History
Wolfcat was a prominent member of the Internet Detectives throughout most of Johnisdead. Joining the Internet Detectives in 2015, Wolfcat was first mentioned in the poem found in "notes.png" on YSHDT.com, listed as one of the potential candidates who would bring about salvation. On March 8th, Woflcat revived Helper with his submission of Hide and Seek. On March 21st, The Man entered the Internet Detectives Skype Group and specifically asked to speak to the players Wolfcat and Dawn in PM's. This was done to set up a canonical crossover between Wolfcat's webcomic "Weenie-Licked" and Johnisdead, as he had recently introduced a character representative of the Red Dot.
On March 30th, Wolfcat was selected alongside the players CircleHunter and Mando to choose between Doug or Mason's save file. While Wolfcat initially wished to choose Mason, the other two players convinced him to go with Doug. On May 24th, Tyler made Wolfcat a moderator of the Internet Detectives Skype Group. Wolfcat's Astral Timeline counterpart was also a prominent member of the Astral Internet Detectives before meeting the same fate as the others.
Wolfcat joined the Astral Observatory Forums in 2018 and befriended many of its members. In November of 2018, Moonman31 reached out to Wolfcat in PM's, offering to divulge more information about the Astral Observatory. This led to the creation of the Safehaven Discord Server, where Moonman could more freely chat with the players.
On July 9th, 2019, Wolfcat was directly mentioned via the Silentdork upload wolfcat22, which showcased some strange footage of the online game Roblox - a game that Wolfcat grew up with. At some point - presumably August 23rd, 2019, Pumpkinhead took control of Wolfcat's various online accounts and assumed his identity. Wolfcat's account was also used later on by The Producer, as the two are believed to have some connection - if not one in the same on some level.

- The player Wolfcat officially became a GM sometime around 2019. However, he had provided assets for the ARG as early as 2016.
- The player Wolfcat has a webcomic about Within Hubris named Weenie-Licked. Weenie-Licked and Johnisdead have referenced each other multiple times.
