Silentdork is the main YouTube channel used throughout Johnisdead. Originally used by Tyler to archive old videos of his friends, the account has since been hijacked and used by a number of malicious entities related to the Lunar Children. In recent years, the account has seen less direct involvement from Tyler and more usage from these mysterious forces.
Story
The origin of the Silentdork channel isn't fully known. Though it was first revealed to the players much later, the channel was supposedly created by Tyler in 2009. There is also an unlisted video on the channel that dates back to 2013 that was seemingly uploaded by Tyler. Despite this, the channel did not become relevant until 2015 when SKM linked the players to it on May 19th. SKM had recently destroyed Tyler's computer in an attempt to force him to create an online account to store his videos, giving the players an opportunity to contact him. This plan was a success, as Tyler uploaded the videos Jacob, Fun night with john and kevin, and Fun night with john and kevin 2 on May 21st.
The players then contacted Tyler through the videos' comment section, inviting him to their Skype Group. Tyler began chatting with the players fairly frequently, sharing his strange experiences with them. On May 26th, Tyler witnessed a strange man seemingly teleporting around down. He recorded some of this and uploaded it in a video titled The weird guy the next day. This video was later taken down at the request of the local police after Tyler informed them about the strange man. On May 31st, the strange occurrences continued as Tyler confronted Daniel harassing him outside his home. Tyler uploaded footage of this the next day in the form of the video I am not safe in my home.
On June 6th, the players attempted to warn Tyler about the Lunar Children, explaining the entire situation to him. He did not believe them and claimed everything they were saying was a sick joke. He then proceeded to cut off contact with them, leaving their Skype group. The YouTube channel was fairly silent after this until July 12th, when Tyler uploaded a video detailing a strange dream he recently had. Over the next month, Tyler would occasionally upload casual videos of himself taking a walk and coming across a poster of "Max Headroom".
In August, the hauntings surrounding Tyler began to worsen as the Lunar Children took control of the players' Ocarina powers. This can be seen in the videos Fire at my work and stuck at work, which showcase Tyler attempting to deal with their indirect attacks. Around this time, Tyler visited John's home and took a shortcut through the woods, which led him to the Fishery. He recorded both of these events, uploading them to Silentdork. Around this time, the Lunar Children used the Ocarina to power up Regiminis, resulting in the video accidental recording.
The channel began showcasing Tyler's slow downfall with the upload of returning to fishery, where he encountered Doug. After this, Tyler was constantly harassed by the cult, as seen in his uploads of Paranoid knocking, calling john, and Im going to, where he was convinced to visit Kevin's house. Once he arrived at Kevin's house, Tyler was attacked and kidnapped by the cult. The players later managed to help Tyler return home, though once there, he was once again trapped by the cult who forced him to upload the video I am doing just fine. Fortunately, the players were able to rescue Tyler a second time, allowing him to escape.
In 2016, Silentdork began falling more out of Tyler's control as it was used by both Tenebris and Regiminis for uploads. After this, the channel was fairly inactive through 2017 up until the upload of Hello again, where Tyler finally uploaded a casual video of his own. This continued in 2018 with the uploads of The usual and Unusual, where Tyler once again documented the strange occurrences around his home. On August 28th, 2018, Tyler uploaded a video of himself hanging out with Greth, who had been experienced similar hauntings. On November 2nd, Tyler hosted a livestream on Silentdork where he gave the audience a general update. Tyler hosted a second livestream on April 23rd, 2019. This would be his final regular upload for quite some time, as he was later attacked by Patrem that same day and chased into the Parallelos.
From this point onwards, the channel's activity became even more chaotic, seemingly showcasing Tyler's journey through the Parallelos without requiring his input. The channel would also become a general host to even more entities as well, showcasing videos from Pumpkinhead and others.
