The Safehaven Discord Server is a chatroom created by the player Wolfcat during the Astral Arc. The chatroom was first used on November 13th, 2018 in order to allow the players to privately contact Moonman in a safe, controlled environment. Over time, more users from the Astral Observatory Forums joined the server and began contacting the players. The server was destroyed in 2020 after Pumpkinhead took control of Wolfcat's various accounts.
Story
On Undecim Nocte, 2018, Moonman contacted the player Wolfcat on the Astral Observatory Forums offering to give him secret information regarding the Astral Observatory and Nocta. Before he would divulge more information, however, he requested a more secure location to chat. In response, the player Wolfcat created the Safehaven Discord Server. On November 13th, Moonman joined the Discord server and began chatting with the players. Over the next few weeks, Moonman would explain his history with the Astral Observatory and give the players information on the various users on the forums. These conversations led to the reveal that Moonman and the other members of the Astral Observatory were actually from a separate timeline.
On November 24th, Nocta joined the server and confronted Moonman, meaning the server had now been compromised. Despite this, Nocta soon left on his own accord after leaving Moonman a threatening message. On July 29th, 2019, a new character joined the Discord server - GHOSTBABEL. Despite their cold exterior, GHOSTBABEL was actually an ally sent by the Astral Observatory member IsocelesAssassin. IsocelesAssassin himself later joined the Discord server on August 21st. Over time, GHOSTBABEL, Moonman, and IsocelesAssassin concocted a plan together alongside the Hacker Group that would allow the players to access the Subspace, and by extension, Johnisdead.com. By April 20th, 2020, the group was ready to put their plan into action.
The plan did not go as expected. While the Hacker Group was using GHOSTBABEL to send a Data Bomb to the players, it was revealed that Pumpkinhead had possessed the player Wolfcat and took control of his accounts. Pumpkinhead used this opportunity to use the Data Bomb on the Safehaven Discord server, corrupting it and eventually destroying it completely. Fortunately, the players had already created an alternate Discord server due to Wolfcat's previous odd behaviors - the Safest Haven Discord Server.
