Google Docs is an online text-editor and file sharing service provided by Google. During The Truth Arc of Johnisdead, players used Google Docs as their main method of archiving the ARG. Various players were given edit access over the associated Google Doc throughout the duration of the arc. At the end of 2016, when The Truth Arc ended, the Google Doc was abandoned.

Please DO NOT reveal anything to ANY characters that could jeopardize their life.
Eg. Talking about Kelbris, the fact we're years ahead of them, or what happened in the ARG earlier.
Furthermore, try not to be greedy with questions.
While it is true we need to get as much information as we can, times for questioning IS limited, and flooding the chat(s) with questions is equally unhelpful.
The same goes for asking about small details. Again, this is also a fair point, that literally ANYTHING could be important, but unless it’s indicated to be, we should assume it is not.
The same goes for sending questions via email. Some of the more slippery characters can and will avoid answering questions if able, so it is advised that you limit your questions to counter this. Worst thing they can do is ignore you.
Bottom line: ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS, AND DO SO WISELY.
We've been given a second chance, as far as we can tell. We shouldn't screw it up. But we might have.

If possible, please keep new information within headings. In the event of an influx of information, please use the “Immediate Developments” section. I (Aaver/Morgan) will organize the document once the info stream has stopped. Please remember to put timestamps on all your additions.

Finally, archives should primarily consist of images of the discoveries, uploaded to Imgur or Imageshack or whatever. Try to avoid FunnyJunk or PhotoBucket, viewing pics there is too much hassle. Only copy-paste text logs, like of IRC snippets, if you were not able to get a screencap.
IMPORTANT: am/pm rolls over at 12:00. Please do not say 12 Noon as 12:00 AM. This has been a major source of confusion. For the same reason, timestamps should be in Eastern Daylight Time (we’re in Daylight Savings Time or “Summer Time” until October) in order to better line up with the countdown on the site.

The video begins with gameplay of Majora’s Mask: Link is still a Deku Scrub in Clock Town. He goes to the entrance of the Bombers’ hideout and enters the password as “15423”. The footage then cuts out and text appears saying “”You are not done playing yet.” , accompanied by heavily distorted music/sound effects. Another blue “message end” box pops up with a corrupted text display sound, but no text is shown. The words “United Alliance” appear.
At 40s into the video, an image of TP Link on Epona appears for 1 frame, along with the text “We all are Link” “So we fought like tomorrow was promised”.
At 43s, an image appears with cursive text saying “What’s your Mask?”. Next, “Heroes of Time” appears along with the sound of the belltower. “Knights of Jad” flashes on the screen at 50s, as well as an image of the Deku scrub mostly offscreen.
At 52s, a banner appears with various Zelda-related images (Promo image of Link, BEN Statue, Sheikah Stone), words on the banner read: “The Fourth Day” “The counter resets one last time” “but this time, we prevail”. “Team Vanguard” then appears for a few seconds, followed by “System of a Dream”. An image of several people, appearing to be drawn in the style of the Bombers, appears and then fades out.
These past images appear to ben forum signature banners. Most of the rest of the video is blank, until “Did you think would forget?” appears, followed by “One more chance”. The corrupted “Dawn of a New Day” banner from the original videos appears, followed by a brief flash of “You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?”
Comments: I’m unsure if this video is legitimate or not, due to all the “We will defeat you” shenanigans. However, the source seems alright, and there may be some info in the vid that we need later.

Subject: update and guestbook
Drowned’s contact page updated, the source code contains (this also shows up if you use search) “"This sheep is blind, its eyes to the one below the blue who's consumed beneath the one through ages. It is flesh sans soul, a once living traitor, a servant and nothing more. The man is smiling."
Drowned's contact page said "MY EYES… THEY TOOK… MY EYES…" in the last arc, did it not?
That explains the "blind sheep" part, perhaps.

This is a keyboard cipher, the solution is the key to the left on a qwerty keyboard.

From this, we can tell that: Matt (referred to by his pseudonym Rodney R.) killed his adoptive father, presumably for a ritual, and that his father (most likely) was the one responsible for BEN's death.

I won't put emails into a separate thread this time. Due to better organisation, the google doc describes day 2 pretty well, and this thread will be pretty close to just mirror what's said on here.
Also, due to the vast amount of updates the site received, I'll be resorting to posting images and instead of transcribing some of the changes. And I won't be reading through the skype chat this time.
Without further ado, here are all new developments and discoveries in chronological order:
Before Midnight est
There were few updates to yshdt.net, and we picked the site clean of secrets the day before, so things were slow. There were still some things of note. Most of the stuff that happened was through emails.
Luna Prophecy's sub-header Changed to "Honesty is the Best Policy"
Pretty self-explanatory:
Ifrit's Contact Page Cipher was Solved
The solution to "Mjcx fkf jg fr rq wyqfct?" was found to be "What did he do on sunday?"
The site-wide icon became "day 2 bookmark"
And the image is the moon with a face, but its small and hard to see.
Ben's Contact Page's Title Changed to "A Sacrifice"
Another Email from Dusk was Received
Late on day 1's night (or super early on day 2's), Gregory Phillips (what's his skype/wh username?) sent an email to dusk asking where they were based. Although an earlier email confirmed that they were on east coast and included New York and Florida, Dusk responded with "bwqtiej". This was quickly deciphered into "newyork".

Specifically, the description meta-tag for giant is "D", and the description meta-tag for "g2" is Alex[/b]
"The Moon Children" Title Changed to "hopeless" for a Brief Second
Front Page gets Ehiped, Hides Some Stuff While Doing So
All of the posts disappeared. The description meta-tag of the front tag was found to say "Who was Mr. D?" when this happened. A new ogg is also found. Viewing its source showed a conversation between two people.

Morgan's Zora's Mask Helps Dusk
As a response to Dusk seeming to drown, Morgan sent an email with a photo of a zora mask to Dusk yesterday. He responded today, and it allowed him to speak without cipher, and it seemed to give him a bit of time. Please note It is capitalised.
Identity of Mr. D Revealed by Dusk
It seems like Mr. D is a paranormal entity of some sort, and his description of how he communicates makes it seem like he is the entity BEN, and is the one who censors things, and is the most likely thing that inhabited the cartridge.

Somewhere at this point, Morgan or Ryann sent a stone mask to Dusk in hopes that it'll protect him. It _may_ explain the possible cut-off in the next message

What's note worthy is that his fate is the same as Alex and Kelbris. We're also pretty sure that Ifrit is responsible for Kelbris, and since Dusk did mention Ifrit earlier, it seems like Ifrit is responsible.

After this, we stopped receiving messages from Dusk altogether. I sent a youtube link to New Wave Bossa Nova to Dusk after agreement with other people. The logic is that, since it allowed Lulu to sing, it'd allow Dusk to speak for a little while longer. We speculate that, if it did have an affect, it was that it made Rosa talk to use through Ifrit's email.

Midnight
When midnight hit, almost every core page that can be found through tabbed, especially the front page. It seemed like the website jumped ahead to the future for a bit. It was pretty spooky. And TwelveTribes released a video and some people in the skype chat got excited about that and it confused some people enough to think it was related and we nearly emailed one of yshdtnet's characters asking what it means that "a drowning man will hold onto a snake.
The changes to the front page were overwhelming. I'll take care of the other pages first, and get to the front page last, where i'll list post changes after I mention a few noteworthy things. Most of the non-front pages had their "Moon Children" title changed, their meta-tag description changed, and body content changed.

Guestbook changes
They can be viewed here. Some of the guestbook's posts were changed around. Most weren't though, and the most notable one (if the most notable one, I didn't look into the guestbook too much) was the one where the usernames changed to B, E, and N.

Page Changes:
The Song Of Double Time was played 4 times, advancing the countdown to the Final Day. The website’s title then changed several times to the following messages:
“Did you think that would work”
“The game may not play itself”
“Rogue”
“Your turn”
The middle two appear to be in response to chat comments that It played the song. It seems instead a rogue player did.
The “rogue” used a ♦ as their username, the same as in Mugen’s Skype name. It is believed the rogue intended to frame Mugen of wrongdoing to create a rift between the players. However, Mugen was still asleep at the time, and did not know the site was up.
Shortly after, Player Astartus attempted to submit a gif of Deku Link knocking the Ocarina out of Skull Kid’s hand. The post originally said “LET. GO. (Gif link)”. Before it was accepted, the comment was edited, the link to the GIF and the accompanying text replaced with “Try again”
This led to the “Did you think that would work” title page mentioned above.
As of 8:52 AM MST, The Truth page requires a login to view.

~4:00-4:15 AM EDT: A handful of players (first Orion, then Greth, then BGK Twi3d Prism) who put their phone number in the contact us section received phone calls from a 423 area code. All calls were short and nothing but silence. Upon returning the call, they were met with Song of Unhealing. Repeat calls offered sounds of a child drowning, yelling underwater, a very distinct - but garbled - “Help!” And other subsequent calls were answered with silence.
(423 area code is associated with East Tennessee)
~4:20ish EST AM: Greth leaves New Wave Boss Nova on the voicemail, unsure if this caused the following reaction.
4:32 EST - BGK Twist3d Prism called the number back. Something on the other end answers, and after a moment of silence, slowly whispered “Don’t… Open… The Truth.”
Number starts calling others and it turns out the phrase ACTUALLY says “You have to get into the truth.” (I want to say that I think, since it was three different entities talking, that it may still have said “Don’t Open The Truth”. Maybe that was BEN getting through, but Ben and Tyler talking to others telling them the opposite)

~3:00 - 4:00 AM EDT: Curiously High recorded three of the four phone calls they made last night. They are as follows:
1st - Voicemail: The sound of drowning could be heard, as well as a distinct, but garbled “Help!” in between the bubbling sounds. Same as fifth call. Unrecorded.
2nd - Voicemail: Song of unhealing played, briefly interrupted by the sound of drowning. [1]
3rd - Call met with silence. Other end hung up after 30 seconds. (recorded, but unnecessary to add, as it’s a 30 second clip of silence.)
4th - Call answered, silence. Curiously High played New Wave Bossa Nova, then waited. Other end of the phone line spoke, in a raspy, loud whisper, “YOU HAVE TO GET INTO THE TRUTH!” over and over. Curiously High hung up after several repetitions. [2]

This time, the testimonial survived, but they are only by people that the cult considers traitors. He says they on the website somewhere for “those in the know”. The testimonials were later found and cracked, as seen below in the “Files” section..
At one point late at night, “The Curious Highblood” said that the site’s main banner changed to “two trees in a plain with the moon” and that it was very green, greener the the forest banner from arc 2.

Hank Hubbard is Kelbris? This confirms at least the theory that Ben was indeed 12 years old when he died in 2002. And that Ana was indeed Kelbris’ wife.
Linking the information gained in Testimonials.rtf and the phone calls received and made last night, we can assume that the male voice crying “it hurts” made to Prism was linked to the testimonial of William Reynolds.
Some small, possibly suspicious things in the docs:
In Jeremy’s testimonial, there is an extra space between the word “son” and “is” in the sentence “When my son is born next month”. Perhaps the name of his son was removed?
Jeremy’s testimonial contains an unusual amount of laughing.
There is an extra space before “after” in William’s testimonial, at the sentence “After the suicide of my mother coupled…”
Looking into the source of the .rtf file, both Jeremy and William’s testimonial are on the same line (within source) - but Hank’s testimonial is on its own line.
It might be possible that these testimonials are edited - and perhaps some of them removed. Nekko does mention he didn’t remember there being so little testimonials, after all.

The From email address name translates to “423” on the keyboard.
D.R. (from Discord) reported the second email received.
Apparently, D.R. had personal info in his email, hence the reply’s contents being omitted.
At 5:35 PM EDT, Kaimeera decided to look at the email again to determine if there was anything pertinent in the email. She found coordinates to a body of water on the western Florida Peninsula. The exact location is being kept private by Kai and Mugen to avoid the potentially problematic reaction of the players when it is inevitably determined who happens to be living nearby.
Ryuk, AKA Kira, stated he received an email from Ifrit. His email came 2 minutes after the Kai/D.R. email, at 8:55 AM EDT.
The information from this email is exactly the same as the other two, with the exception of the time.

5:49 PM EST - File 59 “cracked” (used the same password as in the original, thelensoftruth). Gave us mhftt.rtf, which was blank when opened in Word. Opening it in notepad, we can see that it was made in LibreOffice. It has some basic formatting in it. Backup copy may be found here.
As observed by Loiathal, file 59 could be blank because Matt isn’t around anymore.
Thorin found a cipher in the source code of the Majora’s Mask favicon. Once decoded (details further up), it contained an IRC log between Insidiae, Rem, and Seth.

Old phone number as shown above (somewhere) the answering machine has changed. It is no longer the Song of healing but is a sound clip of the drowning person we have heard before. I have checked this number everyday for something new and this changed. It could be a hint from the GM that the ARG isn’t dead yet.

Hope Conversation
Hope appears on login screen - “I found my hat”. Initially, she was confused with Helper.
Leliel asked “Hat, are you taking questions?”
She replied with, “Unfortunately, I don't think I can answer much of anything.”
After some confusion about the speaker’s identity, Hope states that she isn’t helper. She also stated that she didn’t know who Helper was, or who we were. She says that she’s called Hope. She says that she’s scared and people are looking at her. She appears to hear what we type in the Skype chat as voice, but we’re not sure if we’re the people looking at her.
Shortly after Hope asks about the voices and is told to run to safety, the speaker appears to change to a different person that does not know Hope or what is happening. After this, the webpage shows “I can’t handl”, which could either mean that they’ve been overloaded from too many voices, or that they’ve been interrupted by something.
We were then told to step out, or someone (possibly another person) would shoot. There was a countdown from 10, and then the page displayed “Why is he smiling?”, a reference back to Kelbris. The page then shows “The Father?”
The page then went back to “Night of the First Day” for a moment, and then changed to “Gun?!”. We then see that Hope is speaking again, thus the panic. Apparently, we had started speaking to her while she was with friends, panicked, and ran away from them.
Hope is cut out and replaced with “ate the coming year with a”, then “How could you forget?”, then “I can’t handl” again. Over a a few minutes, the site keeps showing statements that have been previously shown, along with “OUCH”, indicating that there may be some sort of mental overload. The messages go back in time until we got back to “The show is going to be ruined.” It continued repeating previous messages for a bit.
