Parallelos Path

The Parallelos Path is a subset of teachings within the Lunar Children. These teachings supposedly arm individuals with some Ascended-esque powers while still alive. It is implied that those who complete the Parallelos Path teachings are granted a special rank within the Lunar Children simply called "Parallelos".

Teachings

The following abilities are can be learned through the Parallelos Path teachings:

Sub-Traversing

Sub-Traversing, also known as Jumping, is essentially teleportation. It's said to work by quickly travelling to the Nullspace or "Sub-Parallelos" before moving back to the Overworld. Daniel utilized Sub-Traversing in the video I am not safe in my home.

Traversing

Traversing is implied to simply be the ability to enter the Parallelos at will.

Scrying

Scrying is the ability to view the past, present, or future by looking into the Parallelos. The Lunar Children claim that this can cause blindness, however. As such, they have created Scrying Devices to circumvent this.

Listening

Listening is the ability to commune with or listen to entities within the Parallelos. Similar to Scrying, Listening may cause deafness, so the Lunar Children have constructed Listening Devices.

Parallelos Path

A teaching brought to us by the true Father, our Father. The actual process of learning is a well kept secret that is only to be shared between him and his chosen children. However those who learn of it are surely blessed. You can traverse parallelos and learn of things Luna has made for us beyond the normal child’s comprehension. Through said teachings you will learn of:

Sub traversing (or jumping): The use of sub parallelos in order to move through a connecting main parallelos (such as Overworld) in usually impossible ways. Similar to the concept of teleportation.

Traversing: The act of entering a separate parallelos, most often referring to entering physically. In many situations this can be dangerous, and is only recommended by those who have fantastic knowledge and capability.

Scrying: Looking into a parallelos to attain visions. One may also without having ascended to attain visions of past, present or future. Though it is possible to do this with various devices, Scrying can be done with the mind alone by those of the parallelos path teachings, and with much greater accuracy but at the high cost of mental vitality. It is thought that over use or misuse may cause blindness.

Listening: While Luna chooses when to be heard, many ascended and beings beyond our parallelos require work to be heard. Just as it is with scrying, there are devices that can be used to listen to the sounds and voices of separate parallelos, but by listening you may hear with much better accuracy at the great cost of mental vitality. It is thought that over use or misuse may lead to being deaf.

The parallelos path are teachings passed down from Father to his chosen children that allow one to reach beyond the limits of a normal child. Those who devote themselves to the parallelos path and master it may obtain abilities rivaling that of lower ranking eulogies in terms of freedom and communication concerning the parallelos. Only special children handpicked by Father may learn these teachings. Through the parallelos path, you will learn of the following techniques:

((Jumping))
Quickly travelling through the nullspace and reemerging in one's original parallelos in a different location. Jumping allows for quick travel around most parallelos akin to teleportation. However, extended contact with the nullspace is dangerous. One must be truly adept in Father's teachings to safely make use of this ability.

((Traversing))
Entering a separate parallelos either in a physical or spiritual sense. Much like with jumping, traversing can be dangerous for those inexperienced with the inner workings of the parallelos. This skill is one that takes many years to perfect, but once mastered, one will be rewarded with fantastic wisdom and knowledge beyond their wildest imagination.

((Scrying))
The act of peering into separate parallelos to attain visions. For those more adept in the parallelos path, these visions may come from the distant past or even the future. Though this ability has been an incredible boon for our ranks in the past, it is incredibly taxing on the user both physically and mentally. Should one rely too heavily on this gift, they may become blind. Fortunately, devices have been constructed that allow us to receive visions in a safer manner, though much less efficiently and accurately.

((Listening))
The act of listening to the voices of those from beyond our parallelos. This concept is similar to that of scrying. Through listening, we can receive wisdom from our ascended brethren of the higher planes. However, much like with scrying, one must be cautious when utilizing this ability. Those who have misused this gift in the past have become deaf. Though listening devices have been created, they still require careful planning and a concentrated effort to redirect spiritual energy to effectively use, making them somewhat unreliable.
