The Four Giants are four pivotal characters found within Johnisdead. Each of the four giants is a Transcended individual implied to have been specifically chosen by Luna herself. While the identities of the four giants are seemingly set in stone, it is implied that there are multiple different layers and instances of them, though what this means exactly isn't yet known.

History

The players' first interaction with one of the four giants was on February 22nd, 2015. In response to Doug wanting to know "the truth", the players equipped him with the Mask of Truth. This presumably allowed the Transcended version of Doug to speak through his account, as he acted far more malicious than normal. He also claimed that he was once Doug in the past, implying that the process of transcending into one of the four giants is somewhat akin to possession or a loss of identity.[1] The next day, Doug was seen doodling out Kelbris's prophecy in his notes - another individual who would later be revealed as one of the four giants.

The four giants were later referenced on June 28th across several updates found on Johnisdead.com in the Lostinforest Hole. These included glimpses of the second and third giants in the form of thethirdgiant.webm and icansmellyou.webm. This revealed that both of them were distorted, green entities with the second giant being pig-like and the third being fish-like.[2]
