Novum Ascensionem is a supposed affliction that Deviums are said to suffer shortly after their Ascension. Novum Ascensionem is said to result in the unusual or perverse behavior found in Deviums. The Lunar Children claim that the only way to avoid falling victim to Novum Ascensionem is to follow Patrem's instructions.[1]
