The Safehaven IRC Rooms are a series of chatrooms created by SKM during 2015. These chatrooms were the main method by which SKM communicated with the players after initially meeting them on the Within Hubris Forums.
Story
SKM first contacted the players on May 16th, 2015 on the Within Hubris Forums. This was a relatively insecure method of communication, however, due to the presence of Patrem. A few days later on May 19th, SKM created the first Safehaven chatroom on Johnisdead.com under the URL "https://johnisdead.com/safehaven/592". Here, SKM was able to safely chat with the players, giving them useful information regarding the Lunar Children and warning them that they would soon be coming for Tyler. It was during this first chat within the Safehaven chatroom where the players were linked to Silentdork. This conversation was cut short, however, when Regiminis confronted SKM and his ally Drowned.
A second Safehaven chatroom was created a few weeks later on May 28th. This time the chatroom was hosted on the page "https://johnisdead.com/safehaven/727". Here, SKM explained his history with the cult, the fate of his brother Max, and his encounters with Patrem to the players. He also shared some secretive Lunar Children information that was not yet published on Lunarchildren.com. This conversation was once again cut short when Regiminis began approaching SKM.
The final Safehaven chatroom was created months later on November 6th. This time, the chatroom was simply hosted on the front page of Johnisdead.com. During this chat, SKM revealed that he was the Elder Child Liquidsaint. He also described the prison-like conditions he was being kept under while at The Spire. During this chat, SKM allowed players access back into the Lunar Children Forums, where they would later be able to rescue Tyler from Undecim Nocte 2015. Though there have not been any Safehaven IRC rooms since 2015, the name "Safe Haven" has continued being used for locations where characters and players may interact.
