Kevin, also known as Regiminis or Insidiae, is a powerful Lunar Child and one of the main antagonists in Johnisdead. First introduced as a friend of John and Tyler, Kevin's involvement with the cult was later revealed along with his Ascended status. Kevin was also briefly sent to spy on the Moon Chlidren under the alias "Insidiae". Despite being aligned with the Lunar Children, he seems to be more interested in obtaining his own goals.

Story
Not much is known about Kevin's childhood. He likely grew up in rural Florida, where he became good friends with John and Tyler. At some point, Kevin joined the Lunar Children cult. Though he remained fairly secretive about their existence, he would occasionally boast to Tyler that the cult was practicing "real magic" and often refer to it simply as a "religious youth group". In 2010, Kevin had become a trusted enough member in the cult to infiltrate and spy upon their rival group, the Moon Children. Under the alias "Insidiae", Kevin gained the Moon Children's trust and eventually became a moderator on their website, Youshouldnthavedonethat.net.
Kevin later returned to the Lunar Children after Mat had been exposed to Tenebris and killed off most of the Moon Children. Kevin supposedly brought back some valuable information to the Lunar Children and was praised for his efforts. In early 2010, John, Tyler, and Kevin all hung out and attempted various rituals they discovered online. With John being a militant atheist, he and Kevin would often get into arguments regarding such beliefs. At some point, Kevin began taking interest in the Crescent Moon Necklace that was given to Tyler by Carla. At some point, he supposedly stole this necklace. While Tyler attempted to confront him about the necklace, he never had any hard proof against Kevin.
For his service to the cult, Kevin was scheduled to Ascend on Undecim Nocte 2011 - November 11th. During this process, he would forego the name "Kevin" and become known as "Regiminis". This ascension went awry for some reason, resulting in John being killed during the process. This accidentally made John into Regiminis's conduit. Before Regiminis could capture John's spirit and begin properly utilizing him as a conduit, however, Tenebris stole John's spirit and used it as a conduit himself, as he had just recently lost his previous conduit, Drowned. This left Regiminis underpowered and incomplete. It is unknown what became of Regiminis's family, as his house was simply abandoned and the event was covered up by the local police.
In January of 2012, Regiminis attacked IsocelesAssassin and Mason who were travelling and spying on Lunar Children activities. Due to the confusing nature of this event seemingly playing out slightly different between the Prime Timeline and the Astral Timeline, it is not yet clear what exactly occurred and when. It is assumed that Regiminis killed IsocelesAssassin and left Mason behind, still trapped in his Device.
At some point after his ascension, Regiminis was given the role of "Governor" and placed in control of the cult's various Portals, such as Johnisdead.com. This essentially meant that Regiminis ruled over all of the spirits trapped within websites such as Johnisdead.com - which Regiminis himself named at some point as a taunt directed towards Tyler. Over the next few years, Regiminis would constantly tail SKM in an attempt to capture his new partner - Drowned. If Regiminis could capture Drowned, he would be able to trade him to Tenebris in exchange for his original conduit, John. He believed this would help complete his ascension.
On May 14th, 2015, Patrem warned the players that Regiminis, "The Grand One", would soon be arriving. Shortly after this, the players were able to contact SKM, who divulged some important information to them. Their conversation was cut short, however, when Regiminis attacked. Fortunately, SKM and Drowned managed to escape. Around this time, Regiminis's sigil replaced Tylers's avatar on his YouTube channel Silentdork, hinting towards his presence and influence. On September 9th, the Lunar Children would invoke this same sigil in a post on their forums using the recently stolen Ocarina powers in an attempt to grant Regiminis more power. This act allowed Regiminis to begin manifesting near Tyler, as seen in the video accidental recording.

Personality
Kevin
One with a silver toungue, one who works on layers to achieve power for himself but to what ends maybe even he does not know. Some only think of the ascent and never of what should come after. The digital king.
Alternate Incarnations
Other timeline versions of Kevin.
Astral Kevin varies enough from this incarnation of Kevin to warrant their own page - Nocta.
The details of how exactly Astral Kevin deviates from normal Kevin aren't completely known. For some reason, Astral Kevin seemed to have less of a presence, as the video Regiminis was never uploaded. In 2017, he joined the Astral Internet Detectives under the username "Nocta". He mysteriously left the group in early 2018 and founded the Astral Observatory.
Nothing is currently known about Fucked Kevin.
