test audio only is an album released by the Astral Observatory Bandcamp on February 12th, 2019. The album features a few strange tracks and an excerpt from Researcher Greth.

History

This album was discovered on April 5th, 2020 when the Astral Observatory Bandcamp in what appeared to be an out-of-character post in the Internet Detectives Discord Server. Despite the bandcamp seemingly being largely unrelated to Johnisdead, this album in particular stood out due to its strange theming. At some point, an excerpt from Researcher Greth was added to the album's page that implied that the audio contained within it was submitted to him - at which point he began using it for testing sound equipment. This supposedly led to some strange occurrences taking place.

Homedubbed on duplication.ca transparent red-colored cassettes. Extremely limited. Comes with a number of other Astral Observatory Records and johnisdead.com goodies. Contains all of "test audio only" on SIDE A, and BRAND NEW AUDIO on SIDE B. Contains a handwritten note, wonder what it could be?
