Ezekiel Konrad, also known as Thoth online, is a high-ranking Lunar Children who lives at The Spire. Being among the ranks of the Elder Children, Thoth oversees many of the Lunar Children's activities and commands the lower ranking members. It is implied that his family is very rich, as they were the original owners of The Spire.
Story
Ezekiel was born into a very wealthy family. Presumably, he was inducted into the Lunar Children at a very young age, being unable to recall a time where he was not a loyal worshipper of Luna. At some point, Thoth's family had The Spire constructed for the Lunar Children, where Thoth would then live in his own personal room on the upper floors.[1] Due to his familial connections and devout worship, Thoth joined the ranks of the Elder Children - high ranking Lunar Children who oversee the cult's activities.
On June 30th, 2015, Thoth made a general announcement on Lunarchildren.com congratulating recent ascensions and suggesting that up and coming members partake in higher teachings. On August 3rd, the Lunar Children held a banquet in honor of Patrem and Luna and to welcome LiquidSaint's arrival at The Spire. Unfortunately, Mat was forbidden from attending the banquet, as he had just recently communicated with Tenebris in secret to steal away the players' Ocarina powers and give them to the Lunar Children. As Thoth would explain in an announcement the next day, though this was overall beneficial to the cult, privately communicating with Tenebris is forbidden due to his mischievous ways.
On September 4th, Thoth himself tested out the cult's newly obtained Ocarina powers by submitting the "Song of Storms" on the Lunar Children Forums. This test was a success, as it suddenly began raining heavily around Tyler's location.[2] On October 8th, Tyler uploaded a video showcasing the knocking on the doors and windows of his home caused by Doug. Thoth took note of this in an announcement he made that same day, pointing out the strange interference that took place near the end of the video in which various important Lunar Children figures appeared and left threatening messages.
Eventually, the Elder Children discovered that Mat was still communing with Tenebris in secret despite having been punished for it in the past. Thoth discussed this issue with his fellow Elder Child Jinn, fearing that more and more Lunar Children are becoming enamored with Tenebris. Jinn suggested that they allow Mat's meetings with Tenebris to continue so that they may learn more about him from a safe distance. Thoth begrudgingly agreed.
On the Lunar Children Forums, Thoth could be seen occasionally posting and giving general advice to users. When the user 1_Tsukuyomi_1 joined the forums and claimed that he wanted to ascend, Thoth warned him that it would be challenging yet very rewarding. One month later, Tsukuyomi complained that, despite their constant devotion, they have not been given access to the Libro Lunarus yet. Thoth proceeded to praise Tsukuyomi for their devotion and later spke with the managers of The Spire's library so that he may receive a reading session. Later on, a user named sin_yarikh joined the forums and claimed that Jeremy had shown them a copy of the Libro Lunarus. Though Thoth congratulated Sin for joining the cult, he mentioned that he and the other Elder Children would have to reprimand Jeremy for showing the book to an outsider. Sin later asked what exactly would be taking place on Undecim Nocte 2011. Thoth simply brushed this question off, claiming that it would not be happening near The Spire.
At one point, a young girl named Hina616 asked for a copy of the Libro Lunarus. Thoth corrected her spelling of "Libro Lunaris" and informed her that the three copies of the book would all remain at The Spire under heavy surveillance. Later on, Hina travelled to the Fishery and found Tyler's Crescent Moon Necklace, posting about it on the Lunar Children forums. Not only was accessing the fishery without permission a forbidden act, but the necklace was also very important to the Lunar Children. Thoth proceeded to warn her that he was currently reporting her to the other Elder Children and that she will most likely be punished.
At some point, a user named Sheepdog created a project titled Mooned. While the nature of this project is unknown, it supposedly contained taboo topics, which Thoth forced Sheepdog to later remove. Despite this, when Sheepdog was about to move to The Spire, Hope informed her that Thoth didn't hate Sheepdog as much as she thought he did. One user of the forums, Hunter, was proving to be an outstanding member and was offered a position among the other Elder Children. Hunter asked to receive his next test to become an Elder, which Thoth provided - Hunter was to kill his father, Jeremy.
On November 3rd, Drowned leaked Thoth's Lunar Children login information to the players, giving them access to the Lunar Children forums. Here, players met Jeremy, who was recently just killed by Hunter. Despite all of his planning, Thoth was unable to keep Undecim Nocte 2015 from going awry when the players successfully retrieved their Ocarina powers and warped Tyler out of the cult's grasp. This resulted in Thoth posting a frantic announcement asking any and all capable Lunar Children to move in on Tyler's location and attempt to capture him. The Lunar Children were unsuccessful, though, and Tyler soon escaped to Australia.
The next day, Thoth made another announcement informing all Lunar Children to use more secure communications for the time being while they all regroup - he also took the time to chide Liquidsaint for the current broken state of the forums. A few days later on November 30th, Thoth posted a private Elder Child-only announcement on Lunarchildren.com where he vented his frustrations over failing Undecim Nocte. Here, he openly questions how Tyler was able to retrieve his necklace while implying that Hunter was somehow meant to be responsible for its whereabouts. He also informs the others that Regiminis will soon be poised to confront Tyler as soon as he connects to the internet.
After this, Thoth and the other Elder Children attempted to process what exactly took place on Undecim Nocte. Thoth asked the Elder Child kuu_32 to check the security cameras. Here, it was discovered that Hunter could be seen entering The Spire's basement where he proceeded to "hand it back over" to Tyler - perhaps implying that Hunter himself returned the necklace to Tyler. In addition to this, Thoth expresses his disdain for Liquidsaint's traitorous actions and Hunter and Mat's disappearance.
Months later on March 1st, 2016, Thoth made a post on the Lunarchildren.com commanding everyone to head to the top floor of The Spire, where Father Vincent had an important announcement to make. The next day, Thoth made another announcement informing the cult that Tyler had now returned to Florida and that they would have another opportunity to sacrifice him on April 23rd, 2016. Thoth also mentions that both Mat and Doug had not been seen since Undecim Nocte, and he publicly accuses Liquidsaint of being a traitor.
For some reason, the Lunar Children were unable to capture Tyler for a second time, resulting in the Cataclysm killing most of them off. On April 24th, Thoth posted a hysterical announcement on Lunarchildren.com questioning why they were unable to carry out their mission. Being in such close proximity to The Spire, it is assumed that Thoth is dead.
Personality
Thoth comes off as a very strict "no-nonsense" individual. Often seen chiding others or issuing commands, Thoth is a stern leader within the cult. This stoic façade crumbles a bit when Thoth is very excited or stressed, as seen during and around Undecim Nocte when the players helped Tyler escape. Aside from his cult duties, Thoth enjoys video games and tinkering with computers.
Ezekiel Konrad
Did one of the giants really just cause this mandella effect with his last name just to further establish itself in the overall reality of the sphere or is "God" making some kind of joke here... Sorry this is not so much on subject, let me focus...
The son of privilege, associate of the down trodden, unknown servant of the snakes and owls of the world who reflect here off of the waters. He will be redeemed through dreams and awaken to the sickness of his world.
