Pursan is an enigmatic entity that approached the players during the Our Horizon Arc. Prusan struck a deal with the players, offering to assist their progress through the Sanctum hole in pursuit of Pumpkinhead if they kill three targets for him. The players held up their end of the bargain, resulting in Pursan granting them a map of the Sanctum hole.

Story

Pursan first approached the players on August 17th, 2020 in the Internet Detectives Discord Server as they were exploring the Sanctum hole. Pumpkinhead had recently stolen away the players' Ocarina powers and locked them and himself somewhere within the hole. Pursan greeted the players and introduced himself as a trader of sorts. He presented the players with an offer - if they were to kill three of his targets, Pursan would assist their progress through the Sanctum hole. He then gifted them the "Garo's Mask". Before departing, Pursan assured the players that his three targets are "scum" and that they players were not familiar with them.

Shortly after Pursan left, the player ARGdov initiated his offer by posting the "Garo's Mask" on the Within Hubris Forums. This resulted in the video MASK? being uploaded to Wolfcat's YouTube channel showing Link encountering a "Garo" enemy in Majora's Mask. In response to this, the player Xenquility uploaded the video WEISHEIT which showcased Link killing said Garo. Shortly after this, the video DEAD GARO was uploaded to Wolfcat's YouTube channel, showing the Garo's death followed by the names of Pursan's three targets - Henry G, Melissa A, and Arnold R.

The players continued killing off Garo with the video ZWEI UNTEN, resulting in the upload of ANOTHER ONE, which revealed the occupations of Pursan's targets - Head Producer, Neophyte, and Gardener. With the player upload of EINE BEZAHLTE SCHULD came LAST ONE, which revealed some strange letters seemingly associated with Pursan's targets - "PIRA", "AGRB", and "RESG". After this, Pursan returned to the players and congratulated them on a job well done. He then rewarded the players with a map of the "Sanctum" hole before bidding the players farewell.

Personality

Pursan speaks with a cordial, sophisticated tone. He retains this polite yet strict tone while speaking with the players, despite whatever dark subject matter he may be discussing.
