Randy is an editor in the "Observer" - a local newspaper in rural Florida that runs near The Fishery. Not much is known about Randy other than he seems to be complicit in the Lunar Children's authority in town. Randy appears to be having trouble keeping one of his journalists from reporting on the Lunar Children - something Commissioner Jarvis was rather upset over.

Not much is known about Randy. At some point, he became an editor on the "Observer" - a local newspaper that runs in rural Florida in the town Tyler lives. After the Lunar Children began gaining more and more authority in town, they eventually took control of the police force and gained influence over the "Observer". At this point, Commissioner Jarvis began overseeing Randy's work and instructing him on what should and shouldn't be reported on regarding the cult. On April 30th, 2002, an unknown journalist attempted to report on Hank's death at The Fishery.
