CircleHunter is a prominent player who has participated in Johnisdead for the majority of its run. Joining the Internet Detectives in 2015, CircleHunter has been present through many important events throughout the ARG. He occasionally ascended the role of simply being a player, as seen when he played the role of The Gray Man and inspired the character IsocelesAssassin - his canonical Astral Timeline counterpart.

History

CircleHunter joined Within Hubris in 2011. During this time, he joined a group called the "Lonely Singles Club". In 2012, CircleHunter joined the staff of the Jadusable Wiki - a wiki dedicated to archiving Ben Drowned. He eventually became its administrator, completely revamping the wiki.

CircleHunter joined the Internet Detectives shortly after the YSHDT Arc began in 2015. Already being accustomed to the process of archiving ARG's, he was a valuable asset to the players. Having already been close friends with the YSHDT Arc's GM, The Man, CircleHunter assisted in the ARG by playing the role of The Gray Man.

CircleHunter remained a prominent player throughout most of 2015 and 2016. During The Truth Arc, CircleHunter was aware that the return of Youshouldnthavedonethat.net was canon to Johnisdead - something many players weren't sure of at the time. Near the end of the arc, CircleHunter once again assisted the GM's by playing the role of a character - Hope, who spoke to the players via the website's login page.

CircleHunter continued playing the role of Hope during the Astral Arc via her journals which appeared on the front page on Youshouldnthavedonethat.net. Later on, CircleHunter would transform the website into an authentic recreation of how it appeared in 2010 during Ben Drowned. Being a prominent player and good friends with the GM's, CircleHunter inspired the character IsocelesAssassin, who was canonically his Astral Timeline counterpart.

During Jadusable's return, CircleHunter was transformed into a canon character within Awakening, taking on the form of a Tatl-esque guide for the main character.

Astral CircleHunter goes by the username IsocelesAssassin and is one of the surviving members of the Astral Internet Detectives. He infiltrated the Astral Observatory alongside José and Moonman31 in an attempt to uncover Nocta's involvement with the deaths of their friends.
