Letschasethemouse is a blog hosted on Blogspot.com that has been used by various characters throughout Johnisdead. The blog made its first appearance during the YSHDT Arc, where it was used by its creator, Doug. Characters would often interact with the players in the comment sections of blog posts. Over time, the blog's theme has been dramatically altered.
History
Letschasethemouse was first discovered on February 16th, 2015, shortly after Johnisdead began. Players were linked to this site after remaining on the front page of YSHDT.com for too long. Here, players met Doug, the blog's owner. Letschasethemouse was the first avenue through which players could interact with characters in Johnisdead, as Doug would often chat with players in the comment section of his blog posts. On February 22nd, the players submitted the Mask of Truth, which allowed Doug's giant form to begin speaking with them. At some point during this time, the blog's theme changed from an image of the "Dark Side of the Moon" album art to a dark forest.
In early March, Doug was kidnapped by the Lunar Children and transcended. Shortly after this, Mason took over the blog and began using it to contact the players. This was accompanied by a change to the blog's theme from an image of a dark forest to a photo of a tree in a misty environment. Mason remained in control of the blog until March 25th, 2015, when Doug resumed control of it. However, activity on the blog dwindled during this time. On May 3rd, 2015, the player ARGdov sent Doug an image of some bomb plans discovered on YSHDT.com. This enraged Doug, sending him into a frenzy, as the players were not meant to have this information. The blog's theme changed to an incredibly distorted image and Doug made one final post on the blog angrily asking the players where they found said bomb plans.
Letschasethemouse remained inactive for many years. In 2020, the blog's theme changed to a distorted, digital-looking image. On April 21st, 2020, the blog was used to host the Data Bomb after the Safehaven Discord Server was deleted. Not long after this, TheLaw began posting on the blog, using it as a more discreet way to chat with the players.

It sucks starting from scratch, but whatever. At least I get to start anew."
2. 2/13/15
"Today was fun. I spent most of my time inside today, reading articles on the internet.
I should join my high school newspaper, it'd be fun."
3. 2/15/15
"Work today was bad.
I have to tell you, it'd be a terrible fate to be relegated a job you know you suck at, when a better position is out there.
A better position for me."
4. 2/15/15

I'm not too sure about this, but why not?"
5. 2/16/15 - Finding a Religion
"I've been invited to go visit their congregation out in the woods by my friend. We're going to head out in about an hour and a half. I'm excited, if not a little worried."
6. 2/16/15 - The Truth
"I'm going to try to figure out everything I can. This is huge. I swore an oath of secrecy, but I'm still just so amazed by everything they told me.
I'll have a long ways ahead of me, and a lot of work to do before I'm ready, though."
