Jid halloween scavenger hunt announcement
The video begins with Tyler standing in his trailer against a white, blank wall. A fire alarm can be seen on the wall behind him. Tyler is wearing a suit and tie and his hair is tied back. He begins speaking as generic, stock, corporate-esque music plays in the background.
Tyler: "Hey guys, it's Tyler. I'm the douchebag dressed up in his Sunday best talking in-front of a video camera, uh, trying to appear professional. (Laughs) So, uh, basically, this video is made to kinda... announce, uh, A. - My movie that Wolf's been working on, and B. - The upcoming Halloween event on our website - Johnisdead.com. That's right - starting Thursday at-"
A faint image of text reading the following appears:
"Vulnerable and alone."
"No more."
"He thinks it's in the afternoon now, but his brain can't tell anymore."
"It is irrelevant."
"We are one with a singular purpose, and we will finish it."
"Editors note: Its not thursday... its today"
A voice dubbing over the video can be heard saying the following:
"6:00 PM"
Tyler begins talking once again.
Tyler: "-Janus Project will feature a scavenger hunt to promote our production to potential new clients. If you don't already know-"
Another clip of Tyler fades in, cutting off the previous one. He is now holding a "Gondola" plush.
Tyler: "-Janus Project, run by the operators at Project Bifrost, is a virtual world on Johnisdead.com by which you are able to explore 3D worlds that are located in the website. There is a plethora of content to explore that's been produced by our local artist Wolfcat22, and... we wouldn't be able to continue the project without his fantastic efforts, so please give a round of applause... I SAID CLAP."
Tyler suddenly angrily yells at the camera. Clapping can be heard off-screen. Tyler nods in approval. The video suddnely cuts to a shot of the fire alarm. A clip of Tyler silently speaking briefly fades in over the fire alarm before the footage cuts to another shot of Tyler standing and staring at the camera. The video skips for a moment before cutting to another shot of Tyler speaking.
Tyler: "You can locate the software in order to actually explore this project via Johnisdead.com forward-slash "Fakeworld". There, you can download "TheLensOfTruth.exe". Utilizing-"
The video briefly cuts once more. As Tyler continued speaking, the footage would occasionally fade-in on itself with other clips of Tyler speaking.
Tyler: "-software, you can explore the 3D worlds previously mentioned. Go try right now - you'll find a plethora of things. However, at the designated time- designated time- designated time, you can go to the 3D worlds to find free Bandcamp album codes. That's right, I'm hopping on the Bandcamp bandwagon."
Tyler tufts his suit jacket in pride and looks around the room. As he continues speaking, the video clipping continues.
Tyler: "-Kickstarter- (Clears throat)- apply these Bandcamp codes when found by going to Bandcamp.co- forward-slash- forward-slash forward-slash Bandcamp.com forward-slash "Yum". Bandcamp codes are going to be first come first serve. Everyone, try to play fair and nicely. There are going to be veterans that have already explored these worlds and I'm going to hope that they are at least going to be a little bit fair and not over-use the codes."
Tyler begins glaring at the camera. He points at the camera before the video cuts to a shot of Tyler holding a cat.
Tyler: "You can apply the Bandcamp codes at Bandcamp.com forward-slash "Yum". This event will be going through Halloween all the way through until I'm pretty sure that everyone's found them all, so again, when you find them, it would be appreciated - though it is not be necessary, though it would be appreciated if you would please announce within the group "Internet Detectives" when you have actually found these codes. Gradually as I check off all the codes then I can know personally amongst my team when we meet an end."
The video fades out several times.
Tyler: "Did you know that wo-"
The video suddenly cuts to a clip of Tyler throwing a mug against the ground.
Tyler: "Holy shit, that thing is fu-"
The video cuts once again. While Tyler is speaking, he once again briefly holds the "Gondola" plush up towards the camera.
Tyler: "So, everyone, try to have a happy and safe Halloween during this event, and even though this event is being announced a little bit late, I hope that everyone can properly find their way to the Janus software, quickly establish how to utilize it, and enjoy the experience, and please-"
Tyler straightens his tie. A sped-up version of his voice reads off the following as the video cuts.
Tyler: "No purchase necessary to enter or to win, you must be 18 years or older and legal I.D. resident to enter. All federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited."
The video suddenly cuts to Tyler holding a flashlight to his face in a dark room. He looks around, concerned, as he begins speaking in a heavily distorted voice.
Tyler: "Scaler dark spirit, hello? Dan Hall? DADDY! DADDYYYYY! Scaler dark spirit! You weren't filming methods! You lied! You weren't filming methods! You fucking lied! Scaler dark spirit!"
The lights suddenly come back on. Tyler is now in a more dishevelled state and is breathing heavily. He covers the camera with his hand, resulting in the footage cutting to a clip of Tyler as he appeared earlier in the video speaking:
Tyler: "Did you know that world-renowned writer Stephen King was once hit by a car? Just something to consider."
Tyler takes a drink out of the "Theorizer's Corner" mug before angrily tossing it at the ground, shattering it. Tyler suddenly drops the floor, breathing heavily as a theme similar to that of "Elevator Music" begins playing. It is important to note that Tyler appears to be pantless. Tyler searches through the remains of the shattered mug before finding a Bitcoin.
Tyler: "What- What is this... Is this money...? What is this... IS THIS MONEY? IS THIS MONEY?"
Tyler holds the Bitcoin up to the camera while smiling crazily.
Tyler: "BUT DID YOU BUY DOGE?"
The video cuts to a dark clip of Tyler playing the Ocarina. The video then cuts to Tyler cleaning up the remains of the mug.
Tyler: "But if you DCA into Bitcoin, things like this won't have to happen. I completely sacrificed..."
An unknown voice begins speaking.
Unknown: "Okay, I'm gonna-"
Tyler: "-the Theorizer's Corner in exchange... for something of actual value."
Tyler holds the Bitcoin up to the camera. The camera then shakes disapprovingly.
Unknown: "...I'm-"
The video cuts to Tyler picking something up off of the ground.
Tyler: "OH LOOK WHAT I JUST FOUND, SOMETHING MORE VALUABLE THAN A BOTCOIN. Zoom in on this? Zoom- Zoom in on this. Zoo- What? What!?"
Tyler appears to be holding a dime.
Tyler: "What the fuck did I just fi- What? Oh my God!? Are you telling me this is worth more than a Bi- What? Wha-"
Tyler pulls out his Ocarina and plays "Through The Fire and Flames" by DragonForce before going back to sweeping. The video then cuts again before showing footage of Tyler reading off his lines from what appear to be paper towels.
Tyler: "Hey guys, it's Tyler! I'm the douchebag dressed up in his Sunday best. Sunudunushduhgus- This is- This- This. This is what I fucking did. Do you see this? This is what I fucking did. Do you see this? Do you see this? This is what I fucking did. Furthermore, you know what? You know what? Alex's favorite champion, you know, the- The compatriot - The patriot, even. You know the one? The Golden One. You know - the guy? The dawn? Not Dawn - Not The Sun - You know, that little black asshole sun, you know, the Golden Man, you know."
The video cuts to a shot of Tyler showing the camera his suit's cuff, where it is revealed to be a "DONALD J. TRUMP" brand.
Tyler: "You know what I paid for that? Just for this whole bit? I paid- I bought this? Just for this bit. Just for this bit. You don't- You probablydontfuckinbelieveme - I bought it just for this bit. You know what I paid just for this fucking gay little bit?"
Tyler shows the camera the suit's tag, where it is revealed to have cost $650.00.
Tyler: "I want you to eat my asshole right now, $650.00. No, I'm fucking with you, I paid ninety-nine dollar- ninety-nine guh- ninety-nine cents. Haa, I fuck- I tricked you, you fuckin- you fuckin-"
The video then cuts to Tyler sweeping up the mug. He is now wearing a fedora and speaking with a 50's accent. A track from "Everywhere At The End Of Time" by The Caretaker begins playing.
Tyler: "They say Bitcoins are powered on dreams. The dreams of all the people who believe that the Bitcoin would actually get them something of value. Once upon a time back in 2014, I spent approximately one-half of a Bitcoin on pizza. That pizza was value - tangible pizza in my hands. You know what I did with that pi- Yuhknowdatpi- Fuck - You know what I did with that pizza? I ordered it. With the Bitcoin. From a fine establishment. They call it ((Unintelligible)) Pizza. Yeah. I ate that pizza. You know what? Back then I thought the Bitcoin was going to be something big. You know what it was supposed to be? Bet you're thinkin' right now it's supposed to be stocks. It was a GODDAMN currency back then. We spent the BITCOIN on things we want. You know what? When you spend the Bitcoin properly - you know what they call you? They call you a Big Guy. For you. Now, Jad? I'm pretty sure he's 6'3". Me? I'm like a little girl. 6'4". Wait... 5'4". But, you know what happens when you spend the Bitcoin on things instead of usin' it like stocks? The video cuts before showing the remains of the broken mug. The corporate music begins playing once again.

Tyler begins speaking in a 50's accent once again.
Tyler: "Tha's what hap- Tha's what happens. Assahappens. Kid. You fuck with the ID's... You get the shIDs. Eh? Yeh. That's you. You're in the trash. You're in the garbage."
Tyler places the "90 cent" pricetag from earlier on the broken mug.
Tyler: "I'd pay 99 cents for that, eh? Yeh. Think it's worth this?"
Tyler places the $650.00 pricetag on the broken mug.
Tyler: "Nah. Nah... Think I got money for a suit like that livin' in a trailer like this, eh? Think I got money for a suit like that livin' in a trailer like this, eh? YouthingIgogmoney? EH? That's- This is a new thing. WHAT I'M DOIN' NOW - I DON'T KNOW. THIS IS GONNA BE IN THE FILM TOO."
