In 2019, players solved the mysterious cipher found on Astralobservatory.net, revealing that one of its members had been Ascended. Later on, the Astral Observatory Forums returned to normal.

In 2020, IIIII posted many strange messages in the Internet Detectives Discord Server relating to Silent Hill, "Mr. Welldone", and others. Meanwhile, BUP became active and posted several strange messages and files as well.
