What's Johnisdead?
Johnisdead is an Alternate Reality Game, or ARG for short. Its story builds off of and expands upon the story of Ben Drowned.
What's Ben Drowned?
Ben Drowned is an ARG about a copy of the Nintendo 64 game Majora's Mask that's being haunted by the spirit of a child named Ben. What's Majora's Mask?
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a video game that was released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64. Both Johnisdead and Ben Drowned rely heavily on symbolism from Majora's Mask. Despite this, it's not necessary that one has extensive knowledge of the game to participate in or enjoy the ARG.
