The Johnisdead Wiki is an online database containing information pertaining to the Johnisdead ARG created by the players. The Johnisdead Wiki is one of the many different methods players used to catalogue the ARG. Despite often being considered a non-canon website that does not effect the ARG, some canon events took place within the Johnisdead Wiki itself. History

The Johnisdead Wiki was created on July 22nd, 2015 by the player Oceanstuck. At the time, the Internet Detectives Tumblr was the main method of documenting Johnisdead information. The Wiki was created as a more permanent method of archiving updates. Other active players at the time such as Eevee, CircleHunter, and ADULT_LINK began creating character pages, slowly filling out the Wiki. The Wiki mostly remained inactive and lacked much essential information until 2017, when the Internet Detectives Tumblr was abandoned. During this time, the player Wolfcat began revamping the Wiki, moving the ARG's various Timelines over from the Internet Detectives Tumblr and fully documenting pages discovered on canon websites.

On August 23rd, 2019, the player Wolfcat became an official character within Johnisdead. On this day, Wolfcat was overtaken by the malicious entity Pumpkinhead. In an attempt to obfuscate information pertaining to his existence, Pumpkinhead began omitting information from the Timeline pages. On November 9th, 2019, Wolfcat was accused of being a gamejacker as a part of the Pumpkinhead Gamejack. However, this accusation was a canon event in and of itself in a ploy to paint Pumpkinhead as a non-threat. Despite this public accusation, information was still being omitted from the Timelines.

On December 27th, 2019, updates to the Our Horizon Arc Timeline ceased. The Wiki once again began to fall into a state of decay, becoming heavily outdated. On January 17th, 2020, the DnD Session began with BUP as the Dungeon Master. It was soon revealed that each time the players' character died in the DnD session, information would be removed from the Timelines. This was showcased when the player's character Sam the Genasi died, resulting in the entire YSHDT Arc Timeline being replaced with text that read "SAM HAS DIED. ATTEMPT 1.". However, this threat was quickly circumvented when the player Xenquility recovered the YSHDT Arc Timeline through the article's page history. Two months later on March 26th, 2020, "Wolfcat" restored the YSHDT Arc Timeline in an attempt to provoke BUP.

On April 20th, 2020, Pumpkinhead was revealed to be canon. Two months later on June 10th, 2020, the player Jackuan repeatedly provoked and taunted Pumpkinhead in the Internet Detectives Discord Server. This resulted in Pumpkinhead corrupting the Johnisdead Wiki, transforming the header and background images and removing several of the Timelines archived on the Wiki. A few days later on June 15th, 2020, Pumpkinhead revealed the new Johnisdead Wiki as a cruel gesture towards Erika. This new Wiki clearly listed her as a canon character and documented all of her past conversations when she had been repeatedly attempting to convince players she was real. Following this, Erika left the Internet Detectives Discord Server.

Since the unveiling of the new Johnisdead Wiki, the original Johnisdead Wiki has gone mostly unused. It is now only used for reference for information that has not yet been fully transferred over to the new Wiki.

8/2/15 - Eevee: Horrible Pain

As discussed on OOC night, this Wikia is in pain, and needs medicine. Sweet, sweet, medicine.

I'm going to try and work my magic as much as possible, but I strongly encourage my fellow ID's to take part in adding to pages and helping us build this thing from the ground up. As I'm the caretaker of the Tumblr, I won't be able to put a lot of time into this all at once, but I'll work at it slowly alongside the official timelines and updates.

8/4/15 - Eevee: Tyler uploaded a new video

Monday 8/3/15 at Approx. 3:00pm(ish), Tyler uploaded a new video to his youtube account. He seems to have found a framed picture of Max Headroom while walking outside.

8/5/15 - Eevee: Bolero of Fire

The Lunar Children are trying to kill Tyler!
 • Today was a REALLY scary day at work. Idk what happened, but the fry vat I was working on just suddenly caught on fire right in front of me. I had to hold the camera weird and not talk much because I didn't want my boss to get mad at me for filming, but I didn't get the company logo in any shots so idk any reason for them to be mad. If anything I should be mad because that fire actually nearly hurt me really badly.

8/8/15 - Eevee: Fake World & JanusVR Updates

The new text on /fakeworld/ seems to indicate that something will be happening soon. We're currently not sure if it's pertaining to access to Lunar Children, or changes within the JanusVR room, but it should be noted that the appearance of the JanusVR room changed aong with the update.

I suppose we'll see, very soon!

As stated by The Guy's this evening in the Main Skype group, the ARG will be taking a break for approx. 2 weeks. The game is NOT on hiatus, one of the GM's is sick, and needs time to rest and get well. :)

Spirkiroid tested our song powers by playing New Wave Bossa Nova in an attempt to call either SKM or Helper. Instead we were given a new character named Jarilo333. He seems to be a longtime Lunarchild, that has been in trouble with the Elders for talking too much. Maybe we can save this poor soul.

So, yesterday a JID thread popued up on /x/, and generated some interest. There was a link to this wiki posted, so it appears they found us. I'd like to welcome all newcomers to the ARG, enjoy your stay, there's plenty to explore.

4/7/16 - Eevee: 4/1/16 - Update

• At 2:20pm, a user on the Lunar Children Forum named Sheepdog (Profile link: http://lunarchildren.com/forums/user-20.html) posted a thread titled: "Whats going on in here? "(since deleted).
The initial post:
"I know you people are in here so just be chill about it and let me know whats happening, I have some information for all of you right now that you might wanna hear."

Second post:
"Im not really sure how I have managed to get access to this place while no one else can, but I see you guys used that power that is held here a bit. Things have been.... going... I guess you could say, here at the lunar spire still despite various screw ups and the hole 11/11 flop. But your last song actually did something goodish and badish both both sides standards. Tyler was brought through one of the parallelos and then back to the fishery, idk exactly what happened to him there but he proceeded to run right back to his house. He is held up in there now and some of the children are trying to keep an eye on him but something there wont let us get any closer, something kind of fuckin freaky to say the least. We can hear him in there in his house but we can't see him. But I am sure he is ok for now."

Third Post:
"I never have in terms of the torture and blood sacrifices. But the way they treated this Tyler guy was just a bit much. We nearly killed him multiple times, and that point where we held him in a trunk for a couple days was going overboard."

1/7/17 - CircleHunter: YSHDT Aftermath

The Truth Arc (the YSHDT.net portion of the ARG) has come to an end, resulting in the complete dissolution of two cults and the deaths of basically every antagonist we have...and definitely some of our friends.

Jeremy Jarvis, a.k.a. Jarilo333, was a kind old guy and will be missed dearly following his wipe from existence when we hit the kill switch on Luna's entry. Hank Hubbard, a.k.a Kelbris, has passed on after expressing his regret at his past actions. Kevin (Regiminis), Douglas, and Spencer have also been killed by the kill vote. Ezekiel Thoth is most likely dead, but we have no confirmation. We have no word on Tyler's status. Very troubling.

Along the way, we met some new faces. Well, voices. Well, text.

Initially thought to be the return of Helper, a young (but also dead) lady named Hope was contacted very briefly during the site's downtime, as well as some other, less friendly people. One of them shot at us! It was a good time.

Anyway, it was a short burst of activity that ended in a pretty intense finale, ensuring that Luna will not be entering our plane of existence for long after we've died. The next portion of the story will be a series of videos released fairly soon, and afterward, who knows?

Also, I sure could use some help cleaning this place up. If anyone is interested, you are welcome to help in any way possible.

After the events of the Moon Children Arc, we have several updates to record, most of which are small main page changes. All new updates are being chronicled in the new timeline page for 2017: The Final Arc.

3/25/17 - Oceanstuck: Regarding the Recent Raid

Ocean here, doing something other than lurking on Skype for the first time in a while. I was starting to miss all this!

Those of you who have bearing with us during the mass vandalism of a significant number of pages, thanks for being patient. All the affected pages have been reverted and protected. Big thanks to Eevui aka wickedlady for adding protections to the unaffected pages too! None of the pages can be edited by new or unregistered users now, which is unfortunate for those of you newcomers who are genuinely interested, but it'll prevent this from repeating itself and thus avert a bad pain in the ass.

I'm thinking about becoming active in this arg again. I've mostly been lurking for a considerable while but between the influx of new people (many of whom have been bugging me on Youtube for information--seriously, guys, if you're reading this and have been doing that please bug me on tumblr, Skype (I'm not going to post my handle here so I don't get spam, viruses, or contact requests en masse, but pm me if you want it), or even Tvtropes, but not Youtube. Unless it's specifically a JiD-related video, I'm just going to hide your comments) and the fact that I came out of hiding over this is starting to revive my interest. The only question is whether I can balance this against school and roleplaying on Tvtropes. We'll see, I guess.

And for those of you new people who still don't grasp what this is or who the Internet Detectives are for whatever reason, this is an alternate reality game based loosely on another alternate reality game that sprang from the famous Ben Drowned creepypasta. The central plot is about a cult known as the Lunar Children, who worship a deity they call Luna (I am aware that it literally means "moon", yes). Also there are ghosts involved, or something. The Internet Detectives are a group of long-time players of this game who were infiltrated by the GMs of the game during the group's inception and who mostly live in the US. Occasionally our Skype group will have characters showing up to impart information, which we do our best to log for future reference. This site and the ID tumblr are our main stores of information and that is another reason we would appreciate no more raids like that in the future.

Do mind, if you attempt to join, that there's a certain person named Mugen who decided to start his own group by the same name, because he hates us. He's behind on everything and has an unsavory reputation. Don't get tripped up.

Anyway, have fun, and thanks for bearing with us through this last raid. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by it. I'll see you around, if you make a stop by the ID group :::;)

10/22/18 - Eevee: JID.COM UPDATE!

The long awaited return of johnisdead.com has finally arrived!
After a long hiatus, the JID website is back with new mysteries. Firstly we have a brand new icon for the website featuring a smiley face







We also have an image of Tyler looking rather spooky!

11/5/18 - Wolfcat: Astral Observatory

Hey, everyone. After such a long period of no activity, we sure just saw a large spike in it. Johnisdead.com is still seeing updates. More importantly, Tyler uploaded two new videos to Silentdork: experiments and a livestream , featuring possibly an on-camera appearance from SKM himself.

A brand new site has been discovered: Astralobservatory.net . This site has a mysterious admin named Nocta who seems to know a thing or two about Patrem. They also have a mysterious locked board named "The Truth". Go and check out their forums , the characters are fairly active. Just don't post anything too incriminating, alright?

11/12/18 - Wolfcat: Undecim Nocte 2018

Another year has passed, and so has another 11/11. This year had some interesting developments as two new YouTube channels were discovered belonging to Nocta and Moonman. While Moonman's channel doesn't have much, he seems willing to help us out.

However, Nocta's channel held a startling revelation - Nocta's name is Kevin Hendricks. This means not only could he be Regiminis, but also be somehow related to Kayd Hendricks - Ryukaki. Tyler can also be spotted in Nocta's video. Only time will tell what this all means.

7/23/19 - Wolfcat: New Arc - New Horizons

Earlier this month on July 9th, 2019, the seventh arc of Johnisdead began - the Our Horizon Arc. Since then we've seen new videos appear on Silentdork, more character interactions taking place on the Astral Observatory forums, and plenty of cryptic YouTube comments. It seem as though activity is picking back up, so be sure to keep an eye on the tumblr and timeline for updates. New to the ARG? Don't worry - we've got a little something in the works for newcomers. 11/17/19 - Eevee: Undecim Nocte 11/11/2019

Hello everyone!
Undecim Nocte was a little crazy this year! We discovered a new ID player was actually a mysterious character with secret footage of Tyler, while Silentdork premiered a video that at first seemed like the ARG was ending, but then showed us how Tyler has gotten trapped in the Parallelos.
