I forgot the date, but at some point in 1999, the Mugen Truth Arc began.
First, The Producer confirmed the canonicity of Patrem. This led to events too abhorrent to catalogue in the wiki. Everyone thought that this was quite unorthodox and they updated the timeline accordingly.
A few days later, Laches aggregated to Ryucocky. This was considered really massively fucking homosexual and the whole event was promptly memory holed.
