Biography

TheLaw is a mysterious character and not much is known about him.
He's noted for being the first Within Hubris forum user to link to the ARG in January of 2015. Afterwards he disappeared and wasn't heard from until November of 2019, where it becomes clear that he was not just a simple forum user.

He later joins the Internet Detectives and talks about being someone who is sent to do tasks but knows very little about the ARG, although he mentions being friends with the character Bup.

He once held a Soul Caliber tournament on twitch, claiming that he "captured the essences of the participant's souls". The participants were made up of ID members and Johnisdead characters.

TheLaw featured in Silentdork video.

TheLaw is also featured in a now-deleted scene of a Silentdork video titled Remember. In the video, images of TheLaw are flashed over scenes of a person falling and possibly dying in the dark.

When asked about his name, TheLaw states that he does not make laws he simply is the law.

It's theorized that TheLaw may be an in-game representation of Dawn, but this has not been proven. However, there is a clear connection between Dawn and TheLaw in some way.

On Jan 22nd, 2015 TheLaw posted on the Within Hubris Forums, asking when the Ben Drowned ARG was coming back.

He posted links to the Jadusable Wiki, a Drop Box, and yshdt.com[1]. He posted in two separate threads ARG[2] and a thread called yshdt.com[3] (started by another WH user in response to TheLaw's original post).

On Nov 21st, 2019 TheLaw joined the Internet Detectives discord server, stating that he was summoned by "The Squad". He explains that he doesn't know much about the ARG, but was given a task. He claimed that he is not a foe, and also mentions being friends with Bup.

On 12/29/2019 TheLaw held a Soul Caliber tournament live on twitch. TheLaw claimed to have trapped the souls of the participants in the game. Among the participants were Tyler, AdultLink, Regiminis, Mugen Kagemaru, and Dawn. In the end, Regiminis won the tournament.
