The <b>Ceremony of the Three Elements</b> is an important ritual amongst the [[Lunar Children]]. Successfully enacting it was one of the cult's main goals throughout [[Johnisdead]] as it was believed it would summon [[Luna]] and bring about a golden age.

<h2>History</h2>
The Ceremony of the Three Elements was first referenced on September 18th, 2015 by [[Rosa]]. She revealed that [[Tyler]], [[Patrem]], and [[The Four Giants]] were all going to be involved in the ceremony and that its main purpose was to summon [[Luna]].<ref>Rosa discusses those involved in the ceremony and its main purpose [[Johnisdead_Arc#September_18th.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i><Rosa>: There will be a ceremony on the 11th night</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: so many died in that place</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: The exile</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: Patrem he calls himself</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: He is there at this time</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: He will bring him there on the 11th night</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: But he does not understand what he is doing</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: the four are not a mere tool</i></li><li><i><Rosa>: The ceremony will not bring the moon he is calling for</i></li></ul></ref> After regaining access to [[Lunarchildren.com]], players discovered an announcement from [[Mat]] from September 11th that claimed that [[John]] and [[Kevin]] were also crucial parts of the ceremony.<ref>Mat mentions John and Kevin's role within the ceremony [[The_Truth_Arc#November_5th.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i>"This was not as originally planned, without his full power the portal has been in chaos with no one to govern it, and for our benefit and the completion of the coming Ceremony of the 3 elements on Undecim Nocte, Regiminis must hold Duero as his avatar."</i></li></ul></ref>

Further exploration of Lunarchildren.com revealed more information regarding the ceremony. One page claimed that the ritual involves gathering three important individuals who are representative of the [[Three Silver Secrets]].<ref>The ceremony's connection with the Three Silver Secrets is mentioned [[The_Truth_Arc#November_5th.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i>"Just as well, one of the most important ceremonies involving the return of mother, involves the gathering of 3 very important individuals representative of the three silver secrets. This ritual is known as the Ceremony of the three elements. Refer to an Elder child for more information."</i></li></ul></ref> On the [[Lunar Children Forums]], [[Jeremy]] claimed that the ceremony was first discovered by "Kelbris" - [[Hank]].<ref>Jeremy mentions "Kelbris" discovering the ceremony [[The_Truth_Arc#November_5th.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i>"I know Kelbris was the one who discovered the Ceremony of the three elements, also it ain't true that he died in 1998."</i></li></ul></ref> Jeremy later revealed more information about the ceremony on December 19th, 2016. Here, he clarified that the Ceremony of the Three Elements involved The Four Giants, Tyler, and "<span class="canquote">the “mask” that is placed upon him</span>". He also claims that Mat believes he himself should be the one wearing the mask - not Tyler. He also states that Kevin wishes to enact this ceremony because he believes it will grant him more power.<ref>Jeremy gives more details regarding the ceremony [[The_Truth_Arc#December_29th.2C_2016|here]].<ul><li><i>[12:33:25 AM] Jeremy J: Yes, there is a ceremony of sorts. One that requires the four giants, one who is living and the “mask” that is placed upon him.</i></li><li><i>[12:34:53 AM] Jeremy J: Kevin believes he shall gain much more power from causing this ceremony to unfold and bring about her time.</i></li><li><i>[12:35:17 AM] Jeremy J: Ifrit, in a manner of speaking, still walks your earth.</i></li><li><i>[12:36:33 AM] Jeremy J: He believes he will make himself the one holding that “mask”</i></li><li><i>[12:37:28 AM] Jeremy J: But in his state has been blinded from the truth</i></li><li><i>[12:41:10 AM] Jeremy J: That one is Tyler</i></li><li><i>[12:42:26 AM] Jeremy J: The ceremony has already occured partially</i></li><li><i>[12:43:22 AM] Jeremy J: Only due to the ignorance of those involved</i></li><li><i>[12:47:15 AM] Jeremy J: Not exactly sure what three elements are supposed to be, I might have been at some point.</i></li></ul></ref> As for the actual process of the ceremony, Jeremy claims that Tyler will fall under the control of the "<span class="canquote">mask</span>" and act as a "<span class="canquote">waypoint</span>" for Luna - at which point the Four Giants will create a way for her to enter into the world.<ref>Jeremy mentions the process of the ceremony [[The_Truth_Arc#December_29th.2C_2016|here]].<ul><li><i>[1:25:22 AM] Jeremy J: Tyler while under the control of the “mask” acts as a sort of way point for her from this world. The giants shall then make the way for her to enter(which is and always has been their only true purpose as the giants are not who they inhabbit but beings from long before your time). However those who granted this rite power made these conditions final.</i></li></ul></ref>

The full process of the Ceremony of the Three Elements isn't fully known. It's said to involve the following individuals:

Three of these individuals, or perhaps three others yet unknown, are meant to be representative of the [[Three Silver Secrets]]. The "Mask" will be placed upon Tyler and take control of him. At this point, Tyler will act as a waypoint for Luna. After this, the Four Giants will create an opening through which Luna can enter the world - possibly destroying it and / or creating a paradise for her loyal followers.
