<b>Portal</b> seems to be the term that [[Lunar Children]] use to refer to specific websites - specifically ones used to house [[Ascended]] spirits. These include [[YSHDT.com]], [[Johnisdead.com]], and [[Lunarchildren.com]]. 

<h2>History</h2>
The term portal was first used on April 4th, 2015 when [[Patrem]] was cryptically making reference to the eventual discovery of [[Johnisdead.com]].<ref>Patrem refers to Johnisdead.com as a portal [[YSHDT_Arc#April_4th.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i>/Patrem\ 8:31 PM: "There will be a coming time in which a portal shall be opened. This place was forged by the one they call saint, and is governed by the one I call grand. Named a petty insult directed at the terrible fate of one child and the loss of another. Through here you may encounter many things both of your kind, and from times before man."</i></li></ul></ref> Later on, [[SKM]] mocked Patrem's usage of the term and specified that he was referring to websites.<ref>SKM clarifies the meaning of the term portal [[Johnisdead_Arc#May_16th.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i>SKM 1:49 AM: "I can't exactly get to into detail about this but when regiminis hijacked the "portal" as it has been called (the purple bastard is a bit silly with his need to mystify) and called it what he did, it was for a damn petty reason. But it is what it is, john is certainly no longer around and has not been since the accident on 11/11/11."</i></li></ul></ref> The term is later used on [[Lunarchildren.com]] - presumably in reference to [[Johnisdead.com]], as it claims this particular portal is ruled by [[Regiminis]] and houses many [[Deviums]].<ref>The reference to portals made on Lunarchildren.com can be found [[Johnisdead_Arc#May_31st.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i>"(Side note: There has been no seen cases of one who has manifested on the devium level ever rising above said level. The Lunar Children's definition for portals was officially discovered on November 5th, 2015 within their Parallelos article, where it is indeed confirmed that the term is used to refer to websites - specifically ones used to both house [[Ascended]] entities and allow for easier communication with the [[Parallelos]].<ref>The Lunar Children's official definition for the term is mentioned [[The_Truth_Arc#November_5th.2C_2015|here]].<ul><li><i>"Portals: Man made Parallelos designed to be homes for ascended brethren, utilized as communication windows to help us learn of the realms beyond our understanding from those of us who have ascended."</i></li></ul></ref> On April 9th, 2020, an altered version of the Lunar Children's definition was found on Lunarchildren.com. This definition remains mostly the same - simply adding that the Lunar Children supposedly planned on creating more personalized constructs within the websites for added comfort for ascended individuals.<ref>The alternate definition for portals can be found [[Our_Horizon_Arc#April_9th.2C_2020|here]].<ul><li><i>"Artificial parallelos created by man that house our ascended brethren. Portals allow for easy communication with those who have ascended. There are also future plans among our elder children to produce more personalized constructs within our portals for further comfort for the newly ascended. Portals also act as windows to the larger parallelos, allowing for further study and examination similar to past experiments with scrying and listening devices. It should be stressed, however, that portals are only temporary constructs that are in no way replacements for the realms constructed by Mother."</i></li></ul></ref>
