Summary

NOTICE: This section simply contains a short summary of "The Mugen Arc". For a more in-depth coverage of this arc, please watch Ryan Geever's 12 part YouTube series.

All was well in the world of the Internet Detectives, until one day, when several "hot men" sent Mugen Kagemaru's dick pics to the FAAAAK Foundation (Fucking Awesome Almost Amazing As Anthony's Kimono). This infuriated Mugen, resulted in him transforming into a malicious warmonger hellbent on destroying the world. Mugen started off his plan by teaming up with Doug and enacting a ritual to summon Rosa and Jeremy by partaking in gay sex. The player Anal Sex Fire confirmed that this ritual was a success, though Rosa and Jeremy's roles in Mugen's plan are still unknown...

Meanwhile, an entity from the Paralellos named Fiftyfive Douglas managed to escape the Parallelos and approach Tyler's house by utilizing various Detour Signs. This resulted in Tyler uploading several more videos to Silentdork - some of which showcasing various gay interactions between Kevin and Jordi Wild. The players were becoming concerned. Fearing for Tyler's safety, they hatched a plan to cripple Mugen's maneuverability. The player Jos managed to arouse Doug by eating Hank's "D", which resulted in Doug penetrating the Moon. This resulted in a large chunk of the moon falling and crushing Mugen's Shardis, trapping him in this place and time.

The Lunar Children attempted to take advantage of this chaos by kidnapping Tyler, Yuukichan, and Greth. However, they became distracted and stopped once Patrem uploaded Bloodmoonritualpt2.mp4, which featured the death of Gandhi. Fearing Tyler's safety, Pako booked a trip to America. He died, however. Outraged at this international catastrophe, the group known as the Three Amigos Raid attacked the UN. Sadly, Tyler died during the fallout. Fortunately, God (Beerd Beekman) was so outraged at this turn of events, he brought Tyler back to life.

Mugen's power and hatred continued growing. In retaliation for destroying his Shardis, Mugen corrupted the Moon itself, possibly through some sort of Aggregation involving an AU Mugen in which he is the Moon. The Moon transformed into a large, anime version of Mugen and crashed into Jos. Strangely, after this event, the Moon version of Mugen (dubbed "Moongen" by the players) awoke in a strange dream realm. Here, he attempted to pursue a relationship with what appeared to be Yuukichan. However, it was quickly revealed that Yuukichan was actually an Aggregated Jos. This seems to imply that Moongen crashing into Jos resulted in the two of them being transported to some strange realm.

After the reveal of this strange, other realm, the players underwent some sort of metamorphosis where their mental capacities were severely hindered. For many months, the Internet Detectives were unable to control themselves from saying the word "cock" constantly. It seems that the revelation that this strange, other realm exists is a "Infohazard" of sorts. However, this infliction is only temporary. Once the Internet Detectives returned to normal, they threw BEN into a trash compactor, completely destroying him. They wondered why they didn't just do this from the beginning.

While the threat of BEN was now gone, Mugen was still plotting in the distance. The players regrouped with various characters and had a large discussion. During this conversation, Yuukichan made the shocking reveal that she is responsible for the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. This took many players by surprise, however, since it was already proven that Alex Hall is the mastermind behind 9/11. Many players believe Yuukichan's claim was a lie to protect Jadusable, though the reasoning behind this is still unknown. Several days later, Tyler seems to meet various AU Tyler's - one of which appears to be an evil incarnation of himself that has sold out the players, giving their information to Mugen so that he may kill them. Tyler leaves the players with a cryptic message, claiming they have to find the "Bussy Suitcase". It's believed that the Bussy Suitcase may contain the secret to defeating Mugen forever. Not long after this, it was revealed that the plan to find the Bussy Suitcase was actually hatched by III, who is revealed to be Sheepdog.

On April 23rd, 2021, Tyler uploaded a video featuring Regiminis attacking Luke. While Luke was bleeding out, he begged Jeremy for help. However, Jeremy only laughed. This seems to imply that Jeremy is indeed working alongside Mugen after being summoned by him via the gay sex ceremony. At this point in time, however, it is unknown if Regiminis is also working alongside him.

Later on, players discovered a secret page on Johnisdead.com where they could chat with Mugen. Here, Mugen and BUP got into an argument. In order to power up to defeat BUP, Mugen sacrificed himself and underwent a transformation known as "Cringe Aggregation". While this Aggregation of Mugen seemed incredibly powerful, the players were informed that they still had a chance - they were to recover the Salami Slamini - a mythical weapon capable of destroying Mugens. Then, the players would be tasked with restoring the Shardis so that they could travel through time and defeat The Four Mugens of the Legend.

Before the players could embark on their quest, however, they received terrible news - Tyler had been assassinated by Mugen, who fed him a poisoned nuggie. This resulted in Tyler entering through the Rubicon Gate and entering into the Parallelos - likely the same strange realm Jos and Moongen entered into long ago.

Filled the the thirst for revenge, players now attempt to uncover the Salami Slamini and fix the Shardis so that they might take down The Four Mugens of the Legends so that they may have a chance in defeating this horrific Cringe Aggregated Mugen. Meanwhile, Tyler searches for the Bussy Suitcase in this new, strange realm, hoping to unlock its secrets...
